Needs experienced adopter,
Story
I feel that this cat has potential for adoption because she has basically "adopted me". She waits for my truck each day until I get there to feed her and has hops in the truck with me to get warm during this so far unforgiving winter. I put a small pet house behind the bushes where she stays most of the time, but she likes to roam the parking lot and I'm afraid that one day some crazy tenant driving like a maniac might hit her. Once fed, she becomes very affectionate. I cannot take her inside my apartment because the rental company here charges an outrageous initial fee for pets and $35 a month every month thereafter. I'm much older, retired and on a fixed income and I simply cannot afford her food, litter, medical care or the monthly fees. I'm at my wits end as far as what to do with this situation and I hate that she has to endure this freezing weather. I seriously need help with this problem.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Wiley - Tuxedo-ish, toy-obsessed, and permanently in play mode. Wiley is the kind of cat who hears the crinkle of a toy from three rooms away and is already mid-pounce before you even finish opening it. Volunteers and staff all agree: taking photos of Wiley is a sport because this guy is always on the move and ready for his next play sesh. He’s not quite ready for adoption just yet (he’s getting fixed soon!), but Wiley is absolutely ready to start scouting out his future forever family - preferably one that comes with lots of playtime, interactive toys, and maybe another kitty friend who can keep up. He does great with other cats…as long as they’re down to play. If your ideal companion is energetic, social, and believes playtime is a lifestyle, Wiley might just be your match. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sweet Pea: The Quiet Queen with a Calico Twist! Need a calm, classy companion who’s more into naps and laser tag than drama and chaos? Sweet Pea is your girl! She’s a chill tabby with surprise calico flair—because why settle for one fabulous coat pattern when you can have two? She’s all about the quiet life… until that laser pointer comes out. Then it’s game on—because Sweet Pea takes her pawsuit of the red dot very seriously. She even hops on the cat wheel now and then to keep her zoomie skills sharp. We’re not saying she’s an athlete, but we’re also not not saying it. With a heart as soft as her fur and a fashion sense that says “catwalk ready,” Sweet Pea is just waiting to curl up in a cozy forever home. Come meet her at the Hopewell Humane Society, she’s ready to pounce into your heart. #AdoptDontShop #SweetPeaStyle #PawsAndReflect #TabbyWithATwist #FurRealLove #HopewellHumaneSociety Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Snow White — a breathtaking white beauty with striking blue eyes and a sensitive heart. Snow White has an eye deformity, but it doesn’t slow her down at all. What she truly needs is something different: time, patience, and a home that respects her boundaries. Snow White does not trust quickly and can become fearful or defensive when approached too fast. She is not a cat who wants to be handled or rushed into affection. With the one trainer she trusts, Snow White has shown that progress is possible — but for her, it’s a long “eventually.” She will need a calm, quiet home with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who will let her set the pace and celebrate the small wins. Snow White is bonded with her daughter, Grumpy, and they MUST be adopted together. They depend on each other for comfort and security, and staying together gives them the best chance to thrive. If you’re gentle, patient, and experienced with shy cats, Snow White and Grumpy may be the kind of bond-and-build relationship that’s truly worth the wait.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Midnight, a.k.a. Mama, the ultimate work-from-home assistant! Midnight (or as our team calls her, Mama) has been with us since May after raising four adorable kittens (all adopted!) and now it’s her turn. Midnight is pure love in a silky black coat - gentle, snuggly, and obsessed with being close to her people. She loves being held like a baby- a total sweetheart. She’s been known to help our team with some very important computer work…by planting herself right in their lap and supervising every keystroke. Mama’s specialty? Making sure your productivity is balanced with just the right amount of cat cuddles. She’s the perfect desk buddy, whether you’re typing, Zooming, or pretending to work while scrolling memes. If you’ve got a chair and a lap, she’s ready to fill both. Midnight is FIV positive which just means her immune system is a bit more delicate but she can live a long, happy, and healthy life, especially in a calm, loving home. She can even live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats after a proper introduction.  Come meet Midnight and see why she’s purr-fect for anyone who wants a loyal lap cat by their side. Your co-worker of the year is waiting! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Harley is equal parts sweetheart and wild child. Named after Harley Davidson, this girl lives life in high gear, especially with those always-on-alert eyes that make it clear she’s ready for action at any moment. She came to us as a tiny 6-week-old kitten after being found under the hood of a car, and she’s been revving hearts ever since. Harley has the cutest little marking on her belly that some say looks like a horseshoe, while others swear it’s a smiley face - either way, it feels like a sign of good luck. Harley gets along great with other cats, especially ones who love to play, wrestle, and keep up with her energy. When she’s not zooming around, she’s busy being a total lovebug. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten with a little edge and a whole lot of charm, Harley might just be your ride-or-die.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2026, 1:09 pm
