Story
His name is Gus. He’s litter box trained and a very sweet cat. If you are looking for a sweet but independent cat who will give you a laugh he’s your guy. He is cat and dog friendly. I have to rehome due to military PCS. I would like to have him go to a good loving home.

Story
I feel that this cat has potential for adoption because she has basically "adopted me". She waits for my truck each day until I get there to feed her and has hops in the truck with me to get warm during this so far unforgiving winter. I put a small pet house behind the bushes where she stays most of the time, but she likes to roam the parking lot and I'm afraid that one day some crazy tenant driving like a maniac might hit her. Once fed, she becomes very affectionate. I cannot take her inside my apartment because the rental company here charges an outrageous initial fee for pets and $35 a month every month thereafter. I'm much older, retired and on a fixed income and I simply cannot afford her food, litter, medical care or the monthly fees. I'm at my wits end as far as what to do with this situation and I hate that she has to endure this freezing weather. I seriously need help with this problem.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cinnamon got her name from her beautiful warm coloring, but don't let the cozy name fool you - this girl's got spice. She's all about action: chasing toys, pouncing on lasers, and showing off her Olympic-level parkour skills around the room. While she's not big on cuddles, Cinnamon is full of personality and would thrive in a home that loves her independence and playful energy. She's looking for a forever home that appreciates a cat who knows what she wants - fun, freedom, and feather toys. Cinnamon has really started coming out of her shell recently especially to any regular staff or volunteers that play with her often...even letting them pet her at times. She greet them at the doors and has even been caught pawing at the doors to make noise to get their attention if they are not playing with her. She wants to play, play, play and hopes that she can find someone who wants to be the laser master or fly her toy birds above her for her to catch. She gets along well with other cats, especially if they like to play as much as she does.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2025, 1:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sweet Pea: The Quiet Queen with a Calico Twist! Need a calm, classy companion who’s more into naps and laser tag than drama and chaos? Sweet Pea is your girl! She’s a chill tabby with surprise calico flair—because why settle for one fabulous coat pattern when you can have two? She’s all about the quiet life… until that laser pointer comes out. Then it’s game on—because Sweet Pea takes her pawsuit of the red dot very seriously. She even hops on the cat wheel now and then to keep her zoomie skills sharp. We’re not saying she’s an athlete, but we’re also not not saying it. With a heart as soft as her fur and a fashion sense that says “catwalk ready,” Sweet Pea is just waiting to curl up in a cozy forever home. Come meet her at the Hopewell Humane Society, she’s ready to pounce into your heart. #AdoptDontShop #SweetPeaStyle #PawsAndReflect #TabbyWithATwist #FurRealLove #HopewellHumaneSociety Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2025, 10:35 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Midnight, a.k.a. Mama, the ultimate work-from-home assistant! Midnight (or as our team calls her, Mama) has been with us since May after raising four adorable kittens (all adopted!) and now it’s her turn. Midnight is pure love in a silky black coat - gentle, snuggly, and obsessed with being close to her people. She loves being held like a baby- a total sweetheart. She’s been known to help our team with some very important computer work…by planting herself right in their lap and supervising every keystroke. Mama’s specialty? Making sure your productivity is balanced with just the right amount of cat cuddles. She’s the perfect desk buddy, whether you’re typing, Zooming, or pretending to work while scrolling memes. If you’ve got a chair and a lap, she’s ready to fill both. Midnight is FIV positive which just means her immune system is a bit more delicate but she can live a long, happy, and healthy life, especially in a calm, loving home. She can even live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats after a proper introduction.  Come meet Midnight and see why she’s purr-fect for anyone who wants a loyal lap cat by their side. Your co-worker of the year is waiting! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 28, 2025, 10:24 pm

Like her mythological namesake, Artemis is strong, graceful, and self-assured. She’s incredibly friendly and affectionate, always happy to come over for head rubs, gentle pets, and your loving attention. She enjoys companionship, but on her own terms...she’s not one for pushy cats or too much chaos. Artemis gets along well with other feline friends who respect her space and aren’t constantly in her face. She’s the perfect mix of independent and cuddly, ideal for someone who wants a sweet companion who also appreciates a bit of personal space. Artemis is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever temple, a place where she can reign with quiet love and dignity.
