Marnie is a gorgeous girl with a spring in her step despite her difficult background. Originally discovered wandering the streets scavenging for food, Marnie was brought into a loving home. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the wonderful people who took her in are now themselves between homes and are unable to properly care for this lovely lady. Now Marnie is currently being fostered and showered with love, but she still needs to find her final forever home! Marnie may be getting on in years, but you'd never be able to tell! Marnie can usually be seen on her hind legs looking for a cuddle and a kiss, and she can even make her way onto your bed for a nice nap without any assistance. Despite her seemingly endless energy Marnie just wants to be loved and to cuddle up - she is perfectly content wherever her main human is. Marnie could do with a little refresher on her leash etiquette, but she isn't one to pull. Unfortunately due to some poor encounters with off-leash dogs Marnie can be tense when meeting new dogs - she isn't aggressive, but would do best in a home where she can have some time to herself (and for hugs from her human!) Hi there, I’m Chief! I’m a tiny Chihuahua/Terrier mix trying to navigate this big, exciting, sometimes-spooky world. I may be small, but I’ve got a huge love for one thing… blankets. If you give me a soft blankie and a toy to cuddle, I’m the happiest little guy around. I’m proud to say I seem to have this whole potty-training thing down, and I sleep soundly through the night! I’m still learning how to walk on a leash and explore new places—new things can be a little scary for me—but I’m trying my best. I haven't had the chance to meet too many dogs yet since I was recovering from Kennel cough but when they walk by, I don’t mind them at all. What I’m really looking for is someone with patience, kindness, and a big heart—someone who will let me slowly come out of my shell and show the world who I really am. I might be timid right now, but with the right family, I know I’ll shine. I came into RezDawg with a big group of sibling pups, and although we’re now all in different foster homes, I’ve adjusted beautifully. It took me about a week to settle in, but now I’m thriving and so happy! I’m one of the best snugglers you’ll ever meet—my favorite place in the world is curled up next to my human, showering them with kisses. I even like to gently rest my paw on your hand just to remind you how much I love you. I get along with everyone: big dogs, little dogs, cats, and kids! I’m still learning how to walk politely on a leash, so a little patience goes a long way. I am fully house-trained and appreciate having a yard where I can take care of my business.
