Story
Meet Pilgrim! This sweet 7lb chihuahua is on a journey of his own—the journey to find his forever home. Recently rescued from New Mexico, Pilgrim is a tiny boy with a big heart and the cutest underbite you’ve ever seen.Pilgrim is a certified people-lover and a total social butterfly with other dogs. His favorite hobbies include curling up for couch snuggles, giving gentle tail wags, and soaking up as much affection as you’re willing to share. He’s doing wonderfully with his potty training and is making great progress with crate training—he even sleeps through the night like a champ. Pilgrim can be a bit nervous at first and is still learning that the world is a safe place, but he’s incredibly brave and warms up beautifully with patience and gentle encouragement. When left alone he may feel a little anxious, but he settles after a bit and is learning that his humans always come back.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving little companion who’s ready to continue his journey right into your heart, Pilgrim may be your perfect match. ##2600020##

Story
Ashley is a hoot and a half. Such a sweet love-sponge kind of soul. She soaks it all up, but give her a squeeze and you get it right back! Ashley knows her name and is potty trained with a dog door, but without one she will need some training. Ash is very nervous on walks and prefers to be held, probably from her days as a stray, but we’re working on it. Some stability and security will show her the world is safe now! Ash likes other dogs but LOVES her people, a purebred lap bunny for sure. Ashley needs a patient adopter who will be willing to set some boundaries and help her to meet new people as she bonds very closely with her person and can be protective of her person. We have begun training and she continues to show progress.  ##2577762##

Story
Bella is an approx 2 y/o 10# Chiweenie who was found as a stray in a small rural TX town. No one came in to claim her and she was very frightened at the shelter. She's now in a foster home in CO and is coming out of her shell. She loves to be near her person/people, sit on your lap, and sleep under the covers in the big bed. Bella now loves to play with other dogs but can get snarky if she doesn’t get to be the boss. Bella has a difficult time sharing so we are looking to place her in a home where she is the only dog or with a laid back dog who doesn’t care about her bossiness. Bella needs a secure 6 ft fenced yard as she will be a flight risk for awhile and humans who can take her out frequently. She is potty trained and crate trained. She enjoys walks and is good on the leash but will bark at people, other dogs and unfamiliar things. She had made a lot of progress with her fear barking on walks and will need her new owner to continue with her reward based training. She'd do best with someone (she prefers women over men) home during the day and no small children. She hasn't been overly barky indoors. She was curious about cats but we're not sure how should be be living with them. If interested in meeting Bella, complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home including pets. Bella is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $375 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.November 2, 2024, 3:49 pm

Story
Marnie is a gorgeous girl with a spring in her step despite her difficult background. Originally discovered wandering the streets scavenging for food, Marnie was brought into a loving home. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the wonderful people who took her in are now themselves between homes and are unable to properly care for this lovely lady. Now Marnie is currently being fostered and showered with love, but she still needs to find her final forever home! Marnie may be getting on in years, but you'd never be able to tell! Marnie can usually be seen on her hind legs looking for a cuddle and a kiss, and she can even make her way onto your bed for a nice nap without any assistance. Despite her seemingly endless energy Marnie just wants to be loved and to cuddle up - she is perfectly content wherever her main human is. Marnie could do with a little refresher on her leash etiquette, but she isn't one to pull. Unfortunately due to some poor encounters with off-leash dogs Marnie can be tense when meeting new dogs - she isn't aggressive, but would do best in a home where she can have some time to herself (and for hugs from her human!) Are you able to give Marnie her final forever home and a life filled with love? Please contact us!

Story
Meet Ruby Sue — the sweet, silly, slipper-snatching star of the show! At 9 months old and 8 pounds, Ruby Sue is an adorable pup with the perfect combination of playful energy and soft, snuggly sweetness. She’s fully house-trained, loves her treats, and has mastered the art of being both silly and polite. Ruby Sue lives with other large dogs and fits right in, making her an excellent companion for a household with canine friends. At bedtime, she knows exactly what she wants — she’ll happily curl up in her kennel rather than share the bed (even though she loves her people!). One of her cutest quirks? She steals slippers whenever she gets the chance… but never chews them! It’s all part of her charm. Like any curious pup, she loves to pick up sticks from the yard and proudly try to bring them inside, but she’s a smart girl who responds beautifully to “drop it.” Ruby Sue is a playful pup, a cuddle bug, and a total joy to have around. Whoever adopts her is going to feel like they won the jackpot. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $400 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2508648##
