I take time to warm up to new people and I prefer calm routines&#44 quiet spaces&#44 and slow introductions. Once I feel comfortable&#44 my sweetness starts to shine and youll see how much joy I have tucked away. I like other small dogs and feel my best when I have a playful buddy. I love to run&#44 chase&#44 and play in the yard&#44 and I stay polite and calm when meeting dogs on leash or through a fence. I enjoy soft toys&#44 cozy beds&#44 and peaceful walks&#44 as long as nothing is too loud or sudden. Even though I may never be a cuddly lap dog&#44 I do accept gentle pets on my own terms&#44 and I show my happiness by running like a little gazelle with my tail curled over my back. My foster says I have the cutest underbite and the kindest heart. I even love to ride in the car&#44 Ill lay on your lap or cruise right next to you. There are so many positives about me&#44 too. I am fully potty trained and non-destructive&#44 and Im trusted with access to the whole house. I sleep quietly through the night in my own bed on the floor. Im very quiet overall&#44 with just a bit of light alert barking when my foster gets home&#44 and even that doesnt always happen. I walk easily on leash&#44 make a great work-from-home buddy&#44 and have shown no signs of separation anxiety or resource guarding. Even when Im scared&#44 I never try to defend myself-Im truly as sweet as can be. My perfect home is adults only with at least one playful small or medium dog who can help me feel confident. ❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story : Meet Mallow👋 This sweetheart was found wandering alone on a street in South Korea in Feb 2024. Sadly, he ended up in a high-risk shelter and on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the rescue team stepped in just in time, giving him a second chance at life. While having heartworm treatment in a clinic, Mallow moved into his foster home in July 2024. Now, he’s ready to find his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Sweet, Shy Mallow needs a little time and space to feel comfortable, but once he does, he’ll open up beautifully. It may take patience, but winning his heart will be one of the most rewarding experiences ever! He is such a cuddle bug! • Affinity with -Cats: Not interested in cats on walks -Dogs: a huge dog-lover! Very friendly with other dogs regardless of size. He would adjust better in a home with another dog! -Adults/Kids: Good with adults. / Not a fan of kids - he would be the best fit in a home without children. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, using pee pads indoors and going potty outdoors both. • Walking Manner: Very good on a leash! Wants to keep walks short. • Shedding: 5-6 • Food Allergies: No • Car Rides: Good • Barker or Quiet: Barks a little bit when hearing the loud noise from outside. • Separation Anxiety: He whimpers a little right after his foster family leaves home, but calms down soon. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Likes & Dislikes: Loves treats, doggy friends, and cuddles! / Not a big fan of young kids • Health: Completed heartworm treatment in late 2024 and was cleared of infection by April 2025. Had a few teeth extracted this October due to root damage, but it doesn’t affect his ability to chew. Regular and thorough tooth brushing is essential. Otherwise, he’s a healthy boy!
