Story
Looking to rehome my wife and I's little chiweenie pup Bean. Unfortunately life has been making it tough to give this little guy the attention/time he needs. He's a good boy, just high energy and really likes to play. He's crate and potty trained, he hasn't had an accident in months and he settles pretty well in his crate most of the time. He'll go all night without needing to go out. Sometimes he'll chew the little plastic bottom in the crate, or chew the blanket he has in there, but usually we notice that's due to him not getting his energy out, which we've been having a more difficult time allowing him to do throughout the day. He whines a little if he wants to be out playing, and he tends to yelp around food time to get attention for it. We feed him twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. He's like 6 or so pounds, and we don't think he's going to get any bigger than is. So he'll stay really small and really cute. He's very fun, and very silly!

Story
I love this little dog so much. My mom bought him for me as a gift to get me through a rough patch with a divorce and the passing of my previous dog. He has always been my lap dog and constant companion. I got remarried 4.5 years ago and he did not get along with my stepkids. More recently my wife and I have had two more (3 years and a 2 month old) and he is anxious, skittish, shows signs of aggression towards the children. He is now 13 and recently went deaf. Keeping him sequestered has made him very unhappy and we have a great deal of tension in the household now. I want what’s best for the family and for Sam. I am happy to pay for all of his food and vet care for the duration of his life but I need him in a great home where he will be loved and enjoy being a lap dog once more.

Sweet Mother–Daughter Duo Needs a Foster Home by 2/11/26 (Main photo: Shari — white/gold • See Mama Mia below • More pics coming!) Meet this adorable bonded pair who, together, weigh less than one small dog A loving Chi mix mama, MIA (~2 years old, 8 lb) and her precious Chi–Pom mix daughter, SHARI (~8–12 months old, 6 lb) are in urgent need of a foster home. They currently have a very short-term foster only through Wednesday, 2/11/26, and we must find placement by then. Both girls are exceptionally sweet, gentle, and people-loving. They’ve been around children and do great with them, making them wonderful family companions. Despite their tiny size, they are not big barkers and have calm, easygoing temperaments. &#226&#156&#168 Health & Temperament Highlights Very affectionate and friendly Great with people and kids Quiet and well-mannered All vaccines completed Fully tested & heartworm negative This mama and her pup have been through a lot together and are deeply bonded. They would truly thrive in a safe, loving foster home where they can decompress and continue to blossom. &#226&#156&#168 And their bond is something special &#226&#156&#168 They love to be held, and Mama Mia is always watching out for her baby. When little Shari was picked up and walked away, Mia stretched her neck and kept her eyes locked on her — literally tracking where her baby was going with the human Scroll down for more photos — more coming soon! Story
Meet Irving! Sweet little Irving was surrendered to RMG when his owner found themselves in some very unfortunate circumstances and unable to care for him.   Irving was a bit timid when he first arrived at his foster home but quickly learned that Foster Mom's lap was a pretty comfy spot to curl up and decompress after all the changes he had been through. He's been great with all of the other dogs and cats in his foster home and really enjoys making new dog friends - especially the girls! Irving is great on leash and loves going for a nice stroll on these lovely sunny days.    Interested in adopting this sweet little man? Story
Meet Sadie! Our sweet Sadie girl was so so scared and shut down when she first arrived to RMG! She was found living in a storm drain in a very rural part of Georgia. We have no idea what her previous life was like, but we know it wasn’t nice! After several months of patience and TLC from her foster mom, Sadie has learned to love and trust again - especially if you offer her a soft warm blanket to burrow in and a spot in bed next to you! Sadie is a petite little Chi mix - less than 10 lbs and around 10 yrs old. She gets along nicely with other dogs and cats, but she’s decided she prefers calm and quiet in her Golden Years so she’d do just fine as an only dog. Her dream retirement home would be in a quiet household, maybe with someone recently retired who is looking for a new best friend. Someone she can snuggle up with at night and who will let her laze around and sun bathe during the day.  What do you think? Does that sound like you? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2570534##
