Introducing BAILEY
Is she an adorable little fox? Or perhaps she’s a real life Eevee Pokémon! Who can say! What we do know is that Bailey is the cutest 2 year old female long haired chihuahua mix (potentially with a little Pomeranian)! Bailey is a velcro dog who loves to snuggle and is always down for an adventure! She’s loves to chase squirrels, rides extremely well in a car but does not love to be left alone - and for this reason we will not allow adoptions for apartments or condos. You see, Bailey may be tiny but she has some big vocals - and she tends to sing to her people for the first ten minutes after they leave her, then she settles down until you return. As we don’t care for our pups to receive noise complaints, we would prefer her adoptive family to have a home where her singing won’t affect others.
Bailey is incredibly human friendly, maybe a little too cat friendly and while she is dog friendly - it does take her a few hours to warm up to a new pup. Bailey likes to convey a sassy, “Get off my lawn!” energy for those excited pups that have zoomies - so we would not recommend a home with an overly excitable pet personality. And if you have cats, we hope they’re comfortable with dogs because this girl has no sense of personal space with her lookalike species.
Bailey is house trained and crate trained for overnight purposes (as long as she can see you). She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated (excluding some upcoming boosters) and walks very well on a leash. Does Bailey seem like a good fit for you and your family? The Maddux Movement is a non-profit foster based rescue located in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to rescue and rehome animals that are in abusive, neglectful or endangering situations, which includes traditional or open admission shelters, strays, owner surrenders and puppy mills. Adoptions are not based on a first come first serve basis. The individual(s) selected will be chosen by what is best for each animal. Although our rescue is breed focused, we are not a breed restrictive rescue.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (including leptospirosis and canine influenza).
Additionally, each adopted dog will be sent home with a copy of The Forever Dog Life by Rodney Habib and Dr. Karen Becker and a complimentary dog blanket.
