Bert is looking for a new home in the Atlanta area. He's sweet, playful, and loves walks and naps. The best fit would be a home without young kids, where he can be your loyal lap buddy. He had a sibling pup most of his life, but we lost her about a year ago. We have two young kids and because of dog allergies are looking to re-home Bert. Bert has been a patient at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital and is in good health. He currently eats Primal raw patties. Bert takes monthly Simperica treatments and daily Vetmedin for a mild heart murmur. We're not looking for any sort of fee, and will provide some medication or food to make his transition as easy as possible.

Meet Irving! Sweet little Irving was surrendered to RMG when his owner found themselves in some very unfortunate circumstances and unable to care for him. Irving was a bit timid when he first arrived at his foster home but quickly learned that Foster Mom's lap was a pretty comfy spot to curl up and decompress after all the changes he had been through. He's been great with all of the other dogs and cats in his foster home and really enjoys making new dog friends - especially the girls! Meet Sadie! Our sweet Sadie girl was so so scared and shut down when she first arrived to RMG! She was found living in a storm drain in a very rural part of Georgia. We have no idea what her previous life was like, but we know it wasn’t nice! After several months of patience and TLC from her foster mom, Sadie has learned to love and trust again - especially if you offer her a soft warm blanket to burrow in and a spot in bed next to you! Sadie is a petite little Chi mix - less than 10 lbs and around 10 yrs old. She gets along nicely with other dogs and cats, but she’s decided she prefers calm and quiet in her Golden Years so she’d do just fine as an only dog. Her dream retirement home would be in a quiet household, maybe with someone recently retired who is looking for a new best friend. I got Chloe when she was just 6 months old during the pandemic, and she has truly been the best companion I could’ve ever asked for. We’ve been through so much together, and it breaks my heart to say that due to life circumstances, I can no longer able to give her the level of care she deserves. Chloe is up to date on her rabies vaccine but has not been able to get her other annual shots this year due to financial difficulty. She needs a home that can match her energy, be patient with her, and give her the proper training, consistency, and care she needs to thrive. Her personality is one of a kind she loves being a couch potato, gets the occasional zoomies, and can be hilariously petty when she doesn’t get her way, but with the right training and routine, I truly believe she can improve and be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a lifetime best friend.

Meet Piper— an adorable Chihuahua mix! (Perhaps a Chiweenie?) She is around two years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Piper found herself in a local shelter after being seized by authorities in a horrific hoarding case. Due to her lack of socialization, she was at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to step up and save her! Due to her past, Piper is a nervous girl and is still learning how to trust, love, and feel safe in this world! Piper’s journey in her foster home hasn’t always been easy, but she’s made great progress. She is still very skittish and easily startled, so she’s looking for an experienced, calm, and understanding adopter who can continue the gentle, patient care she’s been receiving in her foster home. She enjoys snuggling and playing with her foster siblings and we would love to see her go to a home with a confident dog around her size to help show her the ropes! What Piper needs most is a consistent environment where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. With time, love, and patience, we know this sweet girl will continue to shine! Piper is not comfortable on a leash and will require a secure, private fenced-in yard where she can safely play, explore, and potty. Preston is a 2-year-old mixed breed cutie who weighs 14 pounds. Preston and his sister Penny came from a hoarding situation that landed them in a local county shelter. Due to their skittish nature and fear of humans, they were at a high risk for euthanasia. Luckily for them, Tiny Paws was able to step up and pull them from the shelter. They have since come a long way. Penny has found herself a new home and now we are looking for a foster-to-adopt or adopter for Preston. We are confident he will thrive in the right home. Preston has made so much progress in his foster home and is ready for a forever home to call his own. He needs a home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and play, and ideally a dog friend around his size or larger than him that can continue to show him the ropes of the sweet life! He enjoys playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, but also loves playing with toys, even by himself! He will toss a toy up in the air and entertain himself.
