Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! While she may come off a bit timid at first, give her a little time (and a lot of kindness), and you’ll see her start to blossom. Once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal nature begins to shine through. Sasha would do best in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Loud or busy environments might overwhelm her, but in a calm, loving space, she has so much potential to become a devoted little companion.If you’re someone who understands that the best friendships take time—and you’re ready to offer gentle encouragement and lots of love—Sasha might just be your perfect match.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Everything feels a little overwhelming right now, so Papi is looking for someone patient and understanding to help him feel safe again. He can be a bit unsure and isn’t a fan of being picked up—he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, thank you very much! Papi also has a touch of that classic “little dog syndrome,” letting you know how he feels when he’s uncomfortable.
