Story
Meet Bootsie: The 9-Year-Old Diva Who’s Done Tolerating Nonsense Listen up, dog lovers — Bootsie has arrived, and she’s not here to play games (unless it involves treats). This 9-year-old queen weighs in at a mighty under-20 pounds, which is impressive considering the sheer size of her personality. She’s house trained, leash-ready, and will absolutely love you unconditionally — as long as you follow her very reasonable list of rules. Her Rules: Rule #1: Do NOT pick her up. She is not a purse dog. She is a dignified woman. Rule #2: Hands off the back and sides. She didn’t say you could touch there. Rule #3: Bring snacks. Always bring snacks. She is highly food motivated and will respect you more for it. Bootsie does have a small lump on her shoulder, but don’t worry — the vet confirmed it’s benign. It’s basically her villain origin story scar, and it only makes her cooler. She gets along great with other dogs, as long as they mind their business. Confrontational dogs? Hard pass. She needs an adult-only home with a fenced yard — because children are chaotic and Bootsie deserves peace. In return for your patience and respect, Bootsie will reward you with fierce loyalty, couch cuddles on her terms, and the honor of being chosen by a dog who has standards. Apply at www.rescue330.org — if you think you’re worthy. Bootsie's adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm & flea prevention. Story
I lost both of my parents to cancer, Niko was their loyal companion. I took him in thinking it was a temporary situation. He is very old but very healthy! 2 years ago when I inherited him, he had his remaining teeth removed, they were rotting. He’s a kind, loving boy. He needs to go out often. His most recent visit to the vet, they said he has some hip dysplasia as expected with his age but other than that, a wonderful little companion. I am unsure of his age, my parents rescued him years ago and were unsure of his age at that time. He needs someone he can spend a lot of time with. He stands on his hind legs for every feeding still, it’s adorable. Niko will thrive in a calm environment. He’s not aggressive but he does hide from my children when they’re playing, he doesn’t like the commotion. I would love to find someone for Niko to spend time with. I have a chihuahua size kennel, lead, yard anchor, leash, harnesses, jacket, large metal yard play pen, all included.

Story
Looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart? Meet Tacha`i, a sweet senior Chihuahua who`s ready to trade her difficult past for a cozy, loving future.Tacha`i dreams of the simple things in life: a soft bed, a sunny spot to nap, and a family who will cherish her golden years. She`s an easy walker who enjoys leisurely strolls and spending quiet time with her people. While she`s not training for a marathon, she could use a little help on her weight-loss journey, and she`d love a companion to cheer her on with gentle walks and healthy treats.Because she`s a mature lady who appreciates peace and routine, Tacha`i would do best in a quieter home with older children or adults. She`s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you while you read, watch TV, or simply enjoy a relaxing afternoon together.Tacha`i has been through a lot, but she hasn`t lost her sweet spirit. She`s hoping her next chapter is filled with comfort, kindness, and all the love she deserves.Could your home be the happy ending Tacha`i has been waiting for?If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $95.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Hello! This is Zuko, he’s a sweet boy in need of a new home. He’s 6 yrs old a unique breed of pit-bull-chihuahua and full of life! He’s very little house trained so an experienced owner would be preferred. He loves cuddles, food, and giving you high fives (yes high-fives :)). He’s such a loving boy and deserves someone who can give him a lot of attention.

Story
Meet Jack and Jelly! They are an adorable, bonded pair of Chuggles (Chihuahua x Pug)! They are 5 years old, and Jelly is a female. They've got different personalities - Jack is nosy and loves to sit in his chair most of the day and rest but also loves going outside to chase the squirrels. Although Jelly is a little shy and takes a while to warmup to a new environment once she does, she is a total love bug who loves attention and sleeping on her human! They lived in a home previously with a large dog, and they are great with kids! These two would love a fenced yard where they can explore and hang out! This adorable pair will make a wonderful addition to any home! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org
