PLEASE EMAIL US WHEN YOU FILL OUT AN APPLICATION WHILE WE WORK ON THIS ISSUE*** We apologize for the inconvenience. You may email us at sheltersurvivors@live.com Thank you for your cooperation. Meet our sweet boy Keko!!! If Keko doesn't win you over with his winning personality, he may just tip the scales with his charming overbite! This handsome lad is just ready to curl up with you on those long winter nights, but is also ready to brave a long walk. Keko is a great mix of spunky and sweet. He's currently living in a multiple dog home, and he would do well in one where he can call the doggie shots, or one where he is the only shining star. Keko shares a foster home with Oscar. These two boys have become very bonded. We would love to see them go their forever home together. Oscar is under 30 pounds. Why not add more doggy love to your life? These boys would be over the moon if they could stay together (and so would we)! Keko is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is housebroken and would love nothing more than spending lazy Sundays curled up on the couch, or out for an adventure. PLEASE EMAIL US WHEN YOU FILL OUT AN APPLICATION WHILE WE WORK ON THIS ISSUE*** We apologize for the inconvenience. You may email us at sheltersurvivors@live.com Thank you for your cooperation. This is sweet little Tippy! Tippy is a five pound bundle of love. She is about 7 years old. Tippy was surrendered to us when her owner passed away and her family could no longer care for her. Right before she entered our care, she jumped off of something that was too high for her and she broke her paw. While this has not slowed Tippy down, we have had to take extra precautions with her to ensure that she makes a full recovery. Tippy gets weekly splint/cast changes at our vet partners office. She is also on pain medication to help with her healing; although we are beginning to decrease the amount of medication and she is doing very well! We believe that she will need 1-2 more months of recovery before she will get clearance from the vet. We try to keep Tippy as calm as possible without too much jumping or running around. She walks well with her little splint, but we limit how much she is walking around. This is not too much of a problem because Tippy's favorite place to be is in her foster mom's arms. Tippy spends her time between two foster homes. In one home, Tippy has a little more freedom. She has a large space to roam, but we do not allow her to go up and down stairs. She is with one person in this home and there are no other pets. She loves the low-key life in this foster home. Sometimes Tippy also spends time in another foster home, In this home, there are other dogs that live with her. While Tippy does not mind the company of the other dogs, she does not like when they get too excited. We believe she would do best as an only pet or she would likely be fine with another dog or cat that is super chill. In this home there are also multiple people. Tippy is a typical Chihuahua. She will attach herself to one person and want to be with them. She doesn't mind the other people in the household, but she definitely wants "her person" when that person is home. Tippy is crate trained, but in both homes she has a pen that she sleeps in at night. She sleeps through the night in her pen which is in the bedroom where her foster mom sleeps. She does have a large crate that she stays in in one foster home when her foster mom is away; in the other home she has a larger pen that she stays in. Because of Tippy's size, we do not recommend small children. Older children (13 and above) would be okay as long as they will respect Tippy's space when she needs it. Tippy has had so much change in her little life the last few months. She has adjusted so well in each situation, but it's time for Tippy to find her forever home. She needs a Chihuahua savvy family who will understand what she wants or needs. She gives clear signals. Tippy is wee-wee pad trained. She is very clean and neat. She will let you know when she has to go, so we do feel that once her paw is healed and she can walk around outside, there is a good chance she could be partially trained to go outside as well. She will need a little patience at first when meeting a new person. She can be a little shy. It doesn't take too long for her to understand that you are her friend. We also believe that once Tippy has completely healed, she will love to go for walks outside. She will also likely love a good game of fetch. (She is just not allowed to do that right now). She is spunky, sassy, and sweet and cuddly all in one. Tippy will not be ready to go to her forever home until she is completely healed, but we want to start the process of finding her forever home. If you think that you could provide the loving home that Tippy deserves, please fill out an application for her. Tippy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. To adopt Tippy, please complete our online dog application by going to sheltersurvivors.com Click on the home page, look for "Application" at the top of the home page, and complete the application. Story
Meet Jungwon - Your Tiny, Talkative Shadow! This adorable long-haired Chihuahua is Jungwon, a 3-year-old boy weighing in at a perfect 4kg (8.8 lbs) of fluff, sass, and snuggles! He’s currently in South Korea, but he’s all set and ready to fly to his forever home anywhere in the United States! Jungwon was found wandering the streets during a local festival, most likely abandoned. Thanks to a kind citizen’s report, he ended up at a city shelter — and just in time, a private rescuer pulled him out before his scheduled euthanasia. Now, he’s safe and being loved in a foster home while waiting for the next chapter of his life. 💉 He is neutered (via cryptorchid surgery), fully vaccinated (including rabies and all combo shots), and in good health. Though he may have some tear stains (possibly due to a mild allergy), he’s otherwise thriving! Jungwon’s Personality: A confident communicator – he’s not afraid to tell you what’s on his mind! A charming chatterbox – he’ll "talk" to you when he wants cuddles or attention. A total sweetheart – he loves both adults and kids, and enjoys the company of other dogs too. He's never met a cat, so we’re not sure about that match yet. He enjoys his walks, has good manners on a leash, and does well with both indoor and outdoor potty routines. He doesn’t have separation anxiety, but he will give you a polite bark if he wants to be picked up or pampered! Jungwon does have a bit of a "guarding instinct" when it comes to things he loves – typical of his breed – but he’s never shown aggression. Just a little sass to keep you on your toes 😉 If you’re looking for a pint-sized companion who’s full of personality, affection, and entertaining commentary, Jungwon might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to hop on a plane to meet his forever family — maybe that’s you? :)

Story
Meet Jerry – Tiny, Tender, and Looking for a Lap to Call His Own 📍 Currently in Korea 💛 Available for adoption through 3ft Rescue 🐶 Name: Jerry 🎂 Estimated Age: 5 years ⚖️ Weight: 6.2 lbs (2.8 kg) 🐾 Breed: Chihuahua 🩺 Neutered: Yes 🚽 Housebroken: Fully pee pad trained 🧒 Good with Kids: Yes 🐱 Good with Cats: Yes 🐕 Good with Dogs: Has some jealousy; best as an only dog Jerry was rescued from an illegal puppy mill in Busan, South Korea — one of many small dogs used for profit, not love. But Jerry survived, and now he’s learning that he doesn’t have to fight for affection anymore — that it can be his and his alone. He’s a tiny boy at just 6.2 lbs, and with that little body comes a gentle but sensitive heart. He does wonderfully with children and even gets along with cats, but when it comes to other dogs, he tends to get jealous and protective of his person. For that reason, we recommend Jerry as an only pet, where he can truly shine and receive undivided love. He's fully pee pad trained, calm and well-behaved at home, but does get nervous around adult men — something we believe stems from his past. He never shows aggression, just a bit of fear, and he blossoms most in a quiet, patient home with someone who will move at his pace. Jerry is not just a rescue — he's a survivor with a soft soul, ready to love deeply and be loved right back. If you're looking for a one-and-only kind of companion, Jerry may be just the little shadow you’ve been waiting for. 📩 Apply to adopt Jerry through [3ft Rescue].

Story
Hi everyone, Id like to tell you about London, our 4-year-old chihuahua 🐶🐾(her birthday is June 28). Shes a very special part of our family, and this decision has not been easy. London is incredibly affectionate and calm around the house, but she also loves to play. Shes amazing with children (we have two young kids) and also gets along well with other animals, she even lives peacefully with our cat.🫂💜 She has some basic training, is very smart, and adapts easily. The only thing is that she needs to get up to date on her vaccines, but she’s healthy and well cared for. We’re looking to rehome her because, long-term, we’re moving somewhere that wont allow pets, and we want to make sure she finds a loving home where she’ll get the attention and care she deserves. She's truly part of our family, and we want her to be part of someone elses, too.💟💟 If you or someone you know is looking for a sweet, loyal little companion, please reach out 💌
