This sweet mama came to Wisconsin from Texas with her two puppies, and now that her mom duties are officially behind her, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! Both of her babies have been adopted and are doing amazing! Now it’s Mama Peaches’ turn to find her happily ever after. Peaches is a special girl who forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people she trusts. Once she feels safe and comfortable with you, she is loving, affectionate, easygoing, and incredibly sweet. She does well in her kennel, gets along with other dogs, and absolutely loves spending time outdoors. Peaches does have some boundaries that her future family will need to understand and respect. She needs slow, thoughtful introductions to new people and doesn’t immediately warm up to everyone. Peaches is a girl who chooses her people, and she needs the opportunity to decide when she feels safe enough to let someone into her world. We may never fully know everything this brave little mama experienced before coming to us, so we want to give her the time and patience she deserves rather than putting her in situations that overwhelm her. Because of this, Peaches would benefit tremendously from working with a positive-reinforcement trainer. Her future family should be committed to helping her build confidence, learn appropriate ways to navigate new people and situations, and continue making progress. This doesn’t mean Peaches can’t thrive, it simply means she needs someone willing to understand her, advocate for her, and help her become the most confident version of herself. Her perfect person will be patient, consistent, and willing to let trust develop at her pace. They’ll understand that a relationship with Peaches is something to be built, not rushed. And when she finally decides you’re one of her people? You’ll know just how special that bond is. Mama Peaches needs a home that will see beyond her quirks, respect her boundaries, celebrate her progress, and give her the guidance and support she needs to flourish.We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program.
