·Intake Reason: Transfer from Texas·Weight: 16 lb.Known with:·Cats: Unknown·Dogs: Unknown·Kids: Unknown·Personality: Playful and outgoingHi, my name is Levi; that has a Hebrew origin and means ‘joined' or ‘attached'. I think I like my name because I would like to join your family and be attached to you forever. I am a spunky and comical lad who is friendly and affectionate. I must confess that I lack manners and get so excited around people that I jump up and put my paws all over them. Since I am small, some folks think that is acceptable but I do understand that not all humans appreciate that type of exuberant behavior or greeting. Perhaps we can partake in training together so I learn to settle down a bit and practice manners and social skills. Maybe we can even turn my enthusiasm into a fun trick where I ‘beg' or ‘dance' for you and with your guidance I could learn a new word like ‘down' or ‘off'. I love to run and have lots of energy (some even say I am hyper), so I am hoping for an active family who will keep me busy. I would enjoy going for a walk each day and spend time playing; I love to run after balls and toys. I am quite affectionate and do like cuddle time. A perfect day would be plenty of activity, some training and mental challenges followed by lots of snuggles in the evening. I heard about something called nose work where a pooch gives his schnoz and brain a workout sniffing out yummy morsels; that sounds lovely. I am a feisty boy with loads of charm who promises to be loyal to you forever. My whimsical nature is sure to keep you laughing on a regular basis; we can have so much fun together. Stop by to meet me in person and check out my super charged personality for yourself.#1

Story
*****Requirements****** No apartments* No children* No other petsMeet Carlos, an 8 lb Chihuahua with an 800 lb personality that's cute as can be! He's a complete blanket fiend and loves to snuggle under them no matter the weather. Carlos was bounced around multiple homes before finding his way to JR's and it takes him longer than usual to get comfortable as a result. When he first arrived at his foster home, he was super nervous and preferred to spend time alone. Now that he's comfortable in his foster home, his playful side has emerged he's very silly. He loves playing with toys, both independently and with foster mom and gets the zoomies every night before bed. He does a very cute tippy tap dance when he's excited about something. Carlos does great with new adult humans, but doesn't jive with small children so he's looking for a kid-free home. Although Carlos is currently living with other dogs, he's really looking for a forever home where he can be your one and only pet. He's very protective of foster mom and tries his best to make sure the other dogs aren't bothering her. In typical Chihuahua fashion, he isn't afraid to give bigger dogs a piece of his mind. Despite the best efforts of some of the dogs in his foster home, he's completely uninterested in playing with other dogs, regardless of their size. Carlos is low energy and spends most of his day snuggled up in a blanket on the couch or a bed. He does ok on a leash but doesn't enjoy long walks and needs to go at his own pace. He's very independent and is ok spending the day in a different room than foster mom. He does like to snuggle for short bouts at his discretion when the household is relaxing in the evening. He speaks his mind and randomly breaks out into song, so apartment living is not a good fit for him.Carlos is potty trained but not a fan of the cold so needs coaxing to potty outside during winter. He does well in his crate as long as he has a comfy blanket to snuggle into, but is a very good boy and can be trusted outside a crate when foster mom is gone. Overall, Carlos is a typical Chihuaha personality (though maybe less snuggly than normal) that makes foster mom laugh every day with his antics and provides a lot of cute photo opportunities with his blanket shenanigans. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about Carlos on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet him today!!Adoption fee: $525All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet MochaNut, a 15 lb chihuahua mix with adorably stubby legs and a long body. She has more affection, snuggles, sweetness, and playfulness than her little body can contain. She's not afraid to give affection or initiate snuggles and is very comfortable coming up on the furniture to do so. She loves to play with dogs her size, by herself, or with her people. She can be a little mouthy when she plays, so probably isn't a great fit for families with very small children. She's brave enough to protect you from the dreaded vacuum cleaner and the big scary trucks outside and loves to be by her people at all times. If you're looking for an adventure companion that will snuggle up with you in the evenings, MochaNut is your gal! Story
Meet Creek, an adorable, sweet, timid tripawd that weighs about 16 lbs. His foster family is still waiting for him to come out of his shell, but so far we've learned:* He doesn't mind being in his crate and will often hang out in there on his own. He sleeps quietly in his crate overnight and doesn't mind being crated when foster mom leaves the house.* He's low/medium energy. * He's dog friendly and enjoys playing with dogs his size. When he first met the dogs in his foster home, he immediately tried to engage them in play.* He's pretty quiet and doesn't bark or sing much. * He loves to be loved but isn't sure about asking for it quite yet. * He's not a snuggler, he prefers to lay in a dog bed or his crate and doesn't always do so in the same room as his people.* He's working hard on potty training and gets very excited when he gets praise and treats.* He may only have 3 legs, but that doesn't slow him down or detract from his quality of life. Creek is a very sweet boy that needs a patient family to help him build confidence and give him all the love and attention he deserves. Are you the family to help him come out of his shell? You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $450All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations.
