    My name is Lee Liam.  I am guessed to be 1-2 year old Dachshund mix around 18 pounds.  I fit in nicely at my foster home and get along great with dogs both big and small. I like to play zoomies and play with toys and bones.  I am trying to learn how to not hog the attention, but I just want to have fun! I like both the teenagers I live with but I still bark at them every once in a while. Because of that I would probably do better in a home with older kids. I love my crate and a soft blanket and I sleep quietly through the night.  I am doing very well with potty training too! I am pretty sure I know what “no” means and do my best to avoid having to hear it said.  I am learning to walk on leash and do pretty good but it is still a little scary.    I am looking for a loving home where I can continue to learn how to be a great dog.  If you are looking for a very loving guy whose tail never stops wagging, choose me! Winston is a good boy, but due to a injury in 2021 his back legs don't work. He is having issues with our other dogs , some dogs He likes some He doesn't but he is aggressive to our other dogs and they won't play with him anymore. I lost 2 dogs, the ones he grew up with and now he is alone. I feel horrible that he stays in the basement most of the time alone as none of the digs will go down to play. I am looking for someone who would like a lap dog. He can't controll his bladder or poops but I use a drag bag and diapers and it's not much trouble. I would like to find him a better home where he could be happier. He is good with my dog sitter and her teenagers and seems good with small dogs and cats. But larger dogs seem to be a issue. I love him but I am not sure he is in his best situation here. I have never rehomed a friend before, but would be willing if I can find a better home.

I was given up to the county shelter with my friend Milo. I'm o.k. with children, but it would be good if the children were over 12. I'm a healthy good boy and active at 7 years old. I would do well with a person that likes to go, go, go with me! I need work on my potty training, but I accept a belly band with no problem. I didn't look much like a LH Dachshund until I got groomed and now I'm pretty adorable and hope it helps me find my forever home.
