    Emilie Ann is an adorable young Chihuahua mix with long, graceful legs and a playful spirit. At just 17 pounds and an estimated 8–12 months old, she is nearly full grown. When she runs, she looks like a little fawn! Her short black coat, adorable gray socks on her front paws, and constantly wagging tail make her absolutely irresistible. Emilie Ann LOVES other dogs, especially those her own size! She has a sweet, gentle way of approaching them and inviting them to play. She would be happiest in a home with another small, friendly dog who could become her playmate and companion. When Emilie Ann first arrived at her foster home, she was very shy and unsure of her surroundings. With time, patience, and love, she has blossomed into a much more confident little girl. There isn't a whole lot I can tell you besides I'm okay with dogs, however, we would still recommend you bring your own pups up to meet us just in case and that I am bonded to Rainbow, the other dog I'm with. She was recently found wandering the streets of Florida, thin and covered in fleas and ticks, clearly having been on her own for far too long. A SWEET LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi there, I'm Amos! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I'm very happy to be here getting the good care and love I deserve. I got to spend a few days in a temporary foster home and had a lot of fun there! Shortly after my rescue, the nice folks at MM discovered that I needed FHO surgery on my left hip—likely from previously being hit by a car, so they had that surgery done for me. I'm at about 85-90% usage of my leg and ready to finish my recovery in my new home!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I'd like to be your only dog. / Cats unknown, though I do have a strong prey drive. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a cute little shortie with adorable brown splotches all over me and a curious, sweet personality. I come with lots of tail wags, sweetness, and a lovely personality. In my temp. foster home, I really showed my true colors and was described as a perfect gentleman, a good sidekick, and a snuggle bug. I do have a prey drive when I'm out exploring the yard or on a walk, so I'll likely keep critters out of our yard. / Energy level: 4-6.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and ‘place’ commands so far and I also accept friendly strangers without jumping on them and I use proper door etiquette. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let's continue my training together. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were also good in my temp. foster home. / My potty manners have been very good at Mostly Mutts as well as in my temp. foster home.   • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love snuggling, being petted, eating tasty doggie treats, and learning new things—as you can tell from the list of commands I already know. I'm a smart guy who enjoys using my brain and continuing to learn. I also enjoy being outside with my family, whether we're going for walks, or just spending time together. / Other than other dogs, I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise-once I'm at 100%, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm at about 85-90% usage of my left rear leg and I expect it will only improve in my new home with proper care! I'm not quite ready for hikes, running or jumping yet as I continue to recover. Gentle slower walks are best for now. MM will go over my care with you. I'm a smart and wonderful little dog looking for a wonderful family for life!
