Story
Bonded pair with Capone, they will need to be adopted together! I’ve been fostering these guys for the past month since their mom unfortunately passed away. Both of them are extremely sweet and want nothing more than to be cuddling with you on the couch or in bed. Chapo is still pretty nervous with new things, but I believe with time he will become more confident. They have been through a lot lately and took it very hard losing their mom. Capone struggles a little with separation anxiety so I believe it’s best for them to be with a family who won’t leave them alone for long periods of time. When I have to leave I kennel them together and that seems to be better than leaving them free roaming.

She has a soft, sensitive temperament and is smart and eager to please. About Annie • Gentle, affectionate, and loves to snuggle • Gets along well with the dog in her foster home • Very smart — already knows sit, go to crate, and mastering recall • Eager to please and watches closely to learn • Crate trained and settles in nicely • Walks easily and calmly on leash. She needs at least 2 walks a day. • Not a chewer — respectful in the home • Enjoys being part of the family, but especially loves her person • Annie has a lot of energy and will need a home with a fenced backyard. Annie was rescued from a canal and is still building confidence. She can be easily startled and may run when frightened. She also experiences some separation anxiety and sleeps best in her crate in the same room as her person. She will do best in a calm home that can provide consistency, patience, and reassurance. She is a very sweet girl looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, wanted, and loved. Annie is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccines. Annie is being fostered though Back Home Terrace Heights in Yakima WA. For the perfect meet and greet transportation can be arranged.

Story
Bernie was rescued in the nick of time from a shelter in Los Angeles mere hours before being euthanized. After being fostered for a month in LA he came to Renton. In only 3 months with us Bernie has shown us despite weighing 14 pounds he has a larger than life lovable and strong personality. Bernie is estimated to be about 8 years old and was neutered before coming to Seattle in December. He’s house trained and does well on a leash. He loves to play fetch and frisbee and can tag along for long walks no problem. Once he gets to know you, He loves to be in your lap and will spend as much time with you as he can. He loves pets, belly rubs, and playing tug-of-war with toys. Sadly we don’t know much about the first 8 years of Bernie’s life, but it’s clear he has a wariness of new people and feels protective of his spaces. Bernie would do best with an adult only home, possibly with other small dogs to help show him how to be at ease. Recommended behavioral training or experienced owners.
