Chiweenie puppies and dogs in Renton, Washington

2 almost 3 years old, timid, but friendly loves to snuggle, very affectionate loves attention and very trainable. I don’t know how to post it here, but she does have a brother and it would be ideal if i could find a home for them together. I’m going to be traveling and I don’t have any way to care for them while I’m gone.

First I want to say that we love Biscuit very much. She is an absolutely beautiful dog. After our Chihuahua passed from old age about two years ago, we waited a year and then traveled to Wenatchee WA to adopt Biscuit from Hands and Paws Rescue. She is 5 years old now. Our circumstance is that we lived in a four bedroom house when we adopted her, and now we live in a condo and have no yard. Biscuit has a lot of energy and she needs a yard. She needs someone very active who can wear her out daily. She loves fetch and will play fetch until she drops. We put her in training school but mom has had some health issues this year and is low energy. Dad has a very busy work schedule. We have a young kiddo whom we will need to explain this to somehow. Biscuit is good with kids but she does jump so the best kids would be ok with rough and tumble play. She needs additional training not to jump on people. She is only 12 pounds however. She does chew on things so she needs lots of chew toys.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Bonnie is an absolute sweetheart of an 18 lb, Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) – and she’s at that perfect age (5) where she won’t chew your shoes, but she also loves to go for walks. And did we mention she’s perfectly housetrained? Bonnie was surrendered to a shelter in California, and it’s obvious that she was very loved. She’s incredibly well-adjusted, chill, and happy. She's on the mend from cherry eye removal surgery and is doing great. Bonnie really loves going for walks! When she knows she’s going for a walk, she does the funniest little spins thanks to her long dachshund body. She's not typically a barker, but when she does speak up, it's to let you know someone's at the door — and her bark is surprisingly deep for such a little body, so consider her a built-in (adorable) alarm system. Bonnie's super motivated by food, but she LOVES a good game of tug-of-war or fetch. She’s fast too! She's deeply bonded to her people and doesn't love being left alone. She loves sleeping in bed with her people (if you want your dog to sleep in a crate at night, Bonnie would not be a good match for you). She would do best with family members who are home often, ideally in a standalone house. She gets along beautifully with her two small breed foster brothers, but having another canine sibling isn’t a requirement as long as she gets regular chances to socialize. Car rides are still a work in progress as she gets anxious but settles down beautifully if she can sit with a human passenger in the car. Her foster family takes her on lots of little car trips to learn that good things happen when she goes for a ride, and she will settle down on her own after a bit. She'll occasionally surprise you by popping up out of nowhere, running to you and launching herself into your lap but most of the time she just loves chilling with you, enjoying her squeaky toys, and soaking up your company. She's a calm, loving, easy dog who just wants her people close. To play tug-of-war, of course. Bonnie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Bruno is a 4 yr old lover. He likes to stay close .he likes to snuggle..he knows his name he listens and knows basic commands. Weighs about 10lbs. Or less.hes playful. Our family loves BRUNO. We our his only owner.we had him since birth. He loves to play w his toys. Bruno is kennel trained (lil bit) Bruno is a great dog. He will alert you when someone is outside your home.hes friendly .

He’s an incredibly athletic, loyal, and intelligent dog who thrives when he has both physical activity and mental stimulation.This guy is the ultimate adventure buddy. Pax can climb trees, scale cliffs, keep pace with a bike, and loves hiking, running, paddle boarding, and swimming. He’s just as happy retrieving sticks in the water as he is curling up for a cozy snuggle day. Pax has traveled everywhere with us, road trips, ferries, light rail, city outings, coffee shops, you name it. Poor innocent, sweet & forgotten about Gapy, was ready to be euthanized in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He had zero public interest & zero rescue interest on social media. An email went out for help & this beautiful boy was on that list. Yes, it appears at the age of 3 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable. We rescued this beautiful boy & 2 other sweet baby dolls out of that same kill shelter from that very same kill list all at once. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Gapy who is now looking for his very own forever home who will never give up on him again & love him just as his foster mum & we do. After we got Gapy all his care with his amazing foster mum he will be bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find his loving forever home. We truly believe that Gapy was originally someone’s dog & they just did not want him anymore from his mannerisms & his behavior of knowing certain things. All this boy wants is to be loved & have a home to call his own. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we got him out of the shelter his nails were so extremely long & his nails were clipped by our vets but will need to be & regularly dremeled to get them to a good place. Gapy at times can have a big personality & knows what he wants. He isn’t the biggest cuddler but enjoys being patted & being loved. He is a independent little man. That being said, Gapy is a good eater, he loves to eat & he is making up for lost time & put on weight instantly in his foster home. Gapy’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He also enjoys sunning himself in the backyard & also sitting on the couch & looking out the window, he really enjoys taking in the sites. But he will also do his own thing. Gapy has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. Gapy rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. But has done amazing in his foster home. We are looking for a forever home for Gapy where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog in the home for him to thrive. Gapy loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. This boy enjoys going into a crate sometimes so that tells us that someone used to call him to go into a crate. In his foster home he sleeps in the bed with his foster mum or will sleep on the dog bed. Gapy is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Gappy eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. He also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of his treats are homemade Gapy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with a playful dog. Gapy is roughly just over 8 years old, 21 lbs and is perhaps a rat terrier mix & male. He had a dental & polish & we got him neutered. Gapy is, microchipped, heart worm negative, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we do not redo them as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs & will only redo rabies. We have spent far more on Gapy, with all of his medical care getting him well thank his adoption fee comes close to covering with, neuter, paying his shelter fee to get him out of the shelter, shots, flea meds, dewormer, boarding, dental scale & polish etc. Gapy has been around cats since being in the rescue & did well with the cat in his foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Just because he got along fine with the cat in the foster home doesn’t mean he will get along with all cats. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Gapy was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Gapy’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Gapy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Gapy has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Gapy & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Gapy who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little chap. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Gapy has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
