Due to unfortunate circumstances causing us to move out of the country, we need to rehome our wonderful and sweet dogs. They are chihuahua mixes both under 13 lbs. Momo (pictured) is 5 years old, tan, and believed to be mixed with a dachshund. Appa is 4, black and brown, and believed to be mixed with some sort of shepard. We understand they may not be able to go together but it would be lovely if they did. They are both abused rescues so can be a bit skittish but once they open up, they are the more loving and snuggly pups you could ever want. They would come with food, flea meds, jackets, leashes, collars, beds, blankets, and a bunch of toys. We would love to meet up at a dog park so you can meet them in public.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (He is currently in foster care) Meet Prince! Prince is a 3-year-old, 7-lb chiweenie with a gentle, loving personality. He’s a quiet, shy little guy who absolutely loves to be cuddled once he feels comfortable. Prince is crate trained and does not potty in his kennel. Prince gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine companion in the home. He is low-maintenance and easygoing. He’s apartment-friendly and would do best in a calm home with teens or adults (no young children) outside of the busy city. His ideal adopter is someone who is home often and wants a sweet, affectionate companion to give (and receive!) lots of love. Prince is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ethel! Ethel is a 7-month-old, 12 lb Chihuahua/Pug mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This little lady may be small, but she has a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! Ethel is sweet, spunky, goofy, and full of playful puppy energy. She loves going on walks and little adventures with her people and is always ready to tag along wherever the fun is happening. She’s treat-motivated, eager to engage, and would thrive in a home that continues her training and socialization as she grows. She does great with people and other dogs and would absolutely love another playful pup in the home to romp around with. That said, she could also do well as an only dog as long as she continues getting regular socialization and enrichment. Ethel is the perfect mix of cuddly and adventurous — equally happy exploring the world or curling up after a fun day out. This cuddly boy is still growing just a bit and has so much love to give! Felix can be shy at first and is still building his confidence, but underneath that timid exterior is a very sweet pup who wants to be brave. He loves being held and feels safest close to his people. Once he trusts you, his affectionate nature really shines. He does great with other dogs and will need a confident canine companion in his forever home to help him come out of his shell and show him the ropes. Having another dog gives him reassurance and helps him feel more secure in the world around him. Felix will thrive with patient, understanding adopters who have experience with shy dogs and are committed to helping him build confidence at his own pace. Poor innocent, sweet & forgotten about Gapy, was ready to be euthanized in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He had zero public interest & zero rescue interest on social media. An email went out for help & this beautiful boy was on that list. Yes, it appears at the age of 3 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable. We rescued this beautiful boy & 2 other sweet baby dolls out of that same kill shelter from that very same kill list all at once. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Gapy who is now looking for his very own forever home who will never give up on him again & love him just as his foster mum & we do. After we got Gapy all his care with his amazing foster mum he will be bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find his loving forever home. We truly believe that Gapy was originally someone’s dog & they just did not want him anymore from his mannerisms & his behavior of knowing certain things. All this boy wants is to be loved & have a home to call his own. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we got him out of the shelter his nails were so extremely long & his nails were clipped by our vets but will need to be & regularly dremeled to get them to a good place. Gapy at times can have a big personality & knows what he wants. He isn’t the biggest cuddler but enjoys being patted & being loved. He is a independent little man. That being said, Gapy is a good eater, he loves to eat & he is making up for lost time & put on weight instantly in his foster home. Gapy’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He also enjoys sunning himself in the backyard & also sitting on the couch & looking out the window, he really enjoys taking in the sites. But he will also do his own thing. Gapy has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. Gapy rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. But has done amazing in his foster home. We are looking for a forever home for Gapy where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog in the home for him to thrive. Gapy loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. This boy enjoys going into a crate sometimes so that tells us that someone used to call him to go into a crate. In his foster home he sleeps in the bed with his foster mum or will sleep on the dog bed. Gapy is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Gapy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with a playful dog. Gapy is roughly just over 6 years old & 21 lbs & is perhaps a dachshund & chihuahua mix, (chiweenie), male. He had a dental & polish & we got him neutered. Gapy is, microchipped, heart worm negative, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We are currently treating Gapy for a bad skin infection. We have spent far more on Gapy, with all of his medical care getting him well thank his adoption fee comes close to covering with, neuter, paying his shelter fee to get him out of the shelter, shots, flea meds, dewormer, boarding, dental scale & polish etc. Gapy has been around cats since being in the rescue & did well with the cat in his foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Just because he got along fine with the cat in the foster home doesn’t mean he will get along with all cats. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Gapy was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Gapy’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Gapy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Gapy has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Gapy & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Gapy who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little chap. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Gapy has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Duke loves to spend his days cuddling with people. He is not much for younger kids but loves people over the age of 10. He’s great with cats and dogs. He loves to curl up in blankets and just stay cozy. He loves to run around with you and acts like a puppy when he’s playing! He has the greatest eyebrows- looks like the Madagascar penguins. He’s a real sweetheart and is just the biggest cuddle-bug. He’s around 13 based on the estimated birthday from the original shelter but acts like he’s 5 and the vet thinks he’s around 11 based on the teeth. We want him to spend his last few years in a loving home with lots of cuddles and love. He has no health issues and he is up to date with all his shots!
