Meet the happiest face ever!  My name is Sonny and appropriately so! I always have a smile on my face and have the happiest prance everywhere I go. I am almost 2 years old, and a very gentle soul.  I learn quickly from a very simple no or good job! I'm a bit of an apprehensive fellow, especially to new things and sounds. But once I know Im in a safe and loving environment I am quite curious and snuggly and warm up quick. I love to cuddle on the couch and to be included in everything! … Doorways are still a little scary if they are new, but with just a little encouragement or another furry friend to join me, I learn quick that the doorway leads to all the adventures of the outdoors.  I ride well in the car too!  I haven't quite learned how to jump up yet, but my foster mom has been helping me to learn.  I get along great with every dog I've met, and am most interested in my human's love, but like to play chase when outdoors with my dog friends. I am not interested in chasing cats; the one I live with is in charge and sometimes tries to “play attack” me but I just go along with it because he seems to think its so much fun. Im a bit smaller, just 39 lbs. I love sneaking socks and washcloths out of the laundry basket to scatter all over and I've come quite fond of disorganizing the stuffed toy box. I cant wait to have a human of my own to play with. My foster mom thinks I would do great in agility courses. I have that bouncy, sassy circle step down pat.  I already have learned how to play fetch and I don't pay any attention to the backyard chickens or goats. My name is Hugo!  With a smile and happy demeanor, I am looking to brighten someone’s day, whether it be another dog, cat or person.  I just want to make friends. I respond to my name “Hugo”, thrive on eye contact, attention, belly rubs, scratching, brushing, and easy walking on a leash. I prefer bacon treats or peanut butter biscuits after I respond to come, sit, stay, and lay down commands. In addition, I am house trained, crate trained, good with children and strangers, love play time and even will make “Chewbacca” sounds when excited. As a 76 pound (we are still working on getting those extra pounds off), 3-year old sable merle male, with puppy curiosity, I may chew on socks if left to discover the world on my own. After months of recovery and overcoming extreme neglect, we anticipate Boris will finally be medically cleared and ready for adoption in mid June. Boris is a true survivor and even though he's been through so much he is a total sweetheart and a happy go lucky guy. He loves everyone he meets and gets along great with other dogs of all types. We suspect that he would also be great with cats as well, but can't confirm that. He has excellent house manners and is completely potty trained. He can be a bit chatty and likes to hear the sound of his voice but settles quickly when requested. He is very affectionate, loyal, and loving. Due to the neglect Boris lived through his eyes have become sunken in and they might not ever return back to their normal position. This causes his eyelids and lashes to rub on his eyes a little. He had a medical procedure done in which filler was injected into his eyelids to help them rub less, this procedure typically lasts anywhere from 6 months to 2 years and we are not sure if he will need to have this procedure re-done at some point. He needs his eyes gently cleaned twice daily and lubricating eye drops applied morning and night. The good news though is that he can still see out of his eyes. Boris also had his gallbladder removed so he takes a medication called ursodiol once daily. Even though Boris has some special care requirements, he is a happy, playful, and active collie. Since he's a rescue, we can't be sure of his exact age, but we think he is around 7 years old. The only thing that would make this sweet boy even happier is finding his very own forever family. Boris is neutered, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Boris does require upkeep of medications and cleaning his eyes. But, he is worth it! Vivian is a beautiful young blue Merle smooth coat female collie. She is approximately 2-3 years old. She is in excellent health, spayed and 55 pounds. Vivian is house trained and uses a doggie door. She is a voracious eater! She loves to play with the other collies in her foster home. She has a tendency to hop around like a bunny rabbit when playing! She’s so cute! Vivian is very cautious towards humans. It took about 4 weeks to accept petting from her foster mom. She continues to become progressively more trusting. She is very inquisitive and playful with the other dogs. She is learning the leash but patience is a virtue. Vivian has never shown any aggressive tendencies. She would do best in a home that is calm and relatively quiet. She will also need a furry friend playmate to help grow her confidence. Her family will need patience to help build trust.

Helios is a gorgeous, strong, and independent boy. He can be reserved at times, but he also loves a good petting session! He came into the shelter as a stray with his sibling Apollo. Apollo has since been adopted, but Helios here is still waiting his turn! Helios much prefers life outside of his kennel rather than in. He likes to have lots of toys around to entertain himself with when he`s loose in the house. He gets very excited when he sees a leash because he knows it means he`s getting to go out for a walk. He`s super smart and learns fast. He`s learned most of his basic commands in foster care and is mostly potty trained. He`s always very gentle!Helios is a friendly boy who likes to be pet, but he`s also happy to entertain himself when loose in the play yard. He has a medium energy level and settles down nicely after some exercise. He LOVES treats! We`ve also learned from his time in foster care that, while initially a little nervous around children, he opens up to them and will eventually find himself falling asleep while cuddled up to them. We`ve also learned that, while Helios is great with medium-large sized dogs, he`s a cat chaser so he would do best in a cat free home.
