Meet Piper. 5.5-6 yrs old. She’s been fully vetted and is ready for adoption. Piper came from a local shelter as a stray. Her medical has been lengthy and expensive as she went through heartworm treatment and had entropian surgery for one of her eyes. That’s where they fix the eyelashes from rolling inward and scratching the eye causing it to weep from irritation. She’s all healthy and feeling great. Piper is sweet, playful and mostly obedient. She is completely housebroken. Though Piper likes to play with other dogs she needs to be in a no other dog home since she resource guards her food. She would just love having a person she can snuggle on the couch with. We had Piper DNA’d and she is 50/50 smooth collie & husky. Sophie is an 10 year old, 70lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. Meet Ryder, a 4YO Australian Cattle Dog with a gentle spirit and an easygoing charm. Ryder is a great walking buddy who does wonderfully on a leash and stays right by your side without pulling. One of Ryder’s favorite things in the world is belly rubs. Start petting him and he’ll happily roll right over to show you his belly, soaking up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Ryder is mostly calm, with a low to medium energy level, and is perfectly content entertaining himself, but he also really enjoys spending time with people. He takes treats gently from your hand and, while he doesn’t know any tricks yet, he seems eager to learn with a little patience and encouragement. Toys aren’t really his thing, but companionship definitely is!

Divinity is a sweet, gentle girl who’s just waiting for the right person to help her truly shine. She may be a little nervous at first, but her kind nature shows through - especially when she comes trotting over the moment she sees a leash, ready for a walk and some one on one time. She’s good on a leash and walks nicely by your side without pulling. Divinity has a soft spot for affection and will happily stay close, soaking up pets for as long as you’re willing to give them. She does get a little excited at times and may jump up for attention, but it’s all part of her learning how to express her love.She’s not much into toys, but she’s perfectly content amusing herself - trotting around, sniffing, and taking in the world at her own pace. She`s done well meeting other dogs, but she`s not much for playing. She just prefers to coexist nearby. With her medium energy level and easygoing walking style, Divinity has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. She just needs a patient home to help build her confidence and show her she’s safe, loved, and home for good.

Hi, my name is Rose. I am a playful, happy and cuddly girl! I gey along well with little dogs. I grew up with small dogs, so I will need a slow intro to dogs my size dogs. I love to play and cuddle with the small dogs in my foster home. I have also been around cats and did well with the dog-savvy cats in my foster home. I love my humans, and I am looking to be part of a family. I would love to find a home with kids so we can grow up together. I will do best in an active home that is ready for an adventure, a run or body warmth in bed. I will be the perfect companion for either an active family or a cuddly family.   My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX and can be adopted out of state for $350 (with travel fee and health certificate).  It includes all my age appropriate vaccines, spay and microchip.
