Dollie is a two year old sweetie. Always close by and ready to get her head scratched. Super friendly and chill. We don't think she'd been on to many car rides but she is getting more practice. It also didn't appear that she'd gone up or down many flights of stairs when she first came in, but she's a pro now! Great on a leash, comes when she's called. She's part Collie and part Husky and has those gorgeous Husky eyes. Her fur also seems more Husky-like than Collie-like. No guarantees but we don't think she sheds much--not like our Collies! She gets along great other 2 dogs in her foster home. Dollie hasn't been around cats to our knowledge, but she's very laid back, so we'd expect she'd do fine. Couldn't find a friendlier dog! Lexie is a such a sweet collie girl. She is 8 years old. She loves attention and to be loved on. She gets along well with other dogs, but she has not been around cats so that is unknown. Lexie likes to be groomed and behaves well when there. She is housetrained and up-to-date on her shots. She also has not been around small children, so that is unknown also, but based on her personality, we imagine she would love them. Lexie does have a little age related stiffness, so joint supplements are a must. Lexie would be the perfect collie for a retired person(s). A fenced yard is required. "Astrid is a truly sweet and beautiful 2 year old smooth collie. Although she hasn’t been exposed to much, she is slowly coming out of her shell and will flourish in a safe, loving and nurturing forever home. She is definitely a cuddle bug with people, wanting to lay next to you and giving you affectionate licks to show her love. And she especially enjoys the company of other dogs in the family, wanting to play or being submissive to them to gain their affection. She would most likely do well in a home with another dog or dogs because she feels more confident with them. She enjoys going out for walks, meeting other dogs, and letting people/children pet her, sniffing around in the fresh grass, and exploring. However, loud sounds and busy/new environments cause her to become nervous and anxious. With more exposure, time, and patience, she can better adjust and be more relaxed. She also prefers being indoors, near you, or another dog, or finding a nice spot in the house to take her naps. She’s housebroken, crate-trained, knows how to use the doggy door, and can also jump into the car. Rhyli is an absolutely wonderful collie girl. She is five years old, super sweet, smart, and eager to please. She is potty trained but still learning some rules of being an indoor dog. She was absolutely shocked and then heartbroken when we informed her she could not eat human food left unattended on the counter. Heartbroken because she was worried she had disappointed us. The humans learned their lesson and haven't given her an opportunity since, so there have been no more issues with that. She has only shown mild interest in toys but loves getting her leash on to go for a walk. Her favorite thing is a really good ear rub. She is calm in demeanor and patient when asking for attention. She will quietly follow you room to room and will be quick to wag her tail at the slightest bit of attention but is never demanding of it. The only time she barks is when she is first left alone in her crate but she settles after just a few minutes. She gets along great with other dogs, big or small. Her previous owner said she was good with cats but we have no way to confirm that. She needed a really good grooming when she first came to rescue and was an absolute angel for all the brushing despite having several mats that needed to be combed or clipped out. Thankfully, we were able to keep her beautiful coat mostly intact and it continues to look better each day. Rhyli is an absolute treasure and will be the perfect addition to just about any family or home because of her stellar personality. A fenced yard is required. Kayli is a little velcro pup that is quick to wag her tail and give you a smile. She is 4 years old, loves to give you her paw and will crawl gently into your lap for a hug if you let her. She absolutely adores love and affection and is one of the sweetest little collie girls you will ever meet. She has only shown mild interest in playing which presently has to be prevented since she is heartworm positive and she needs to stay calm with limited activity until she completes her heartworm treatment. But we imagine she would enjoy playing and learning more about toys and having fun once she is given the chance to fully enjoy them. She walks well on a leash and is a fast learner, quickly picking up anything asked of her. She is house and potty trained and does well in a crate. She gets along great with other dogs, big or small, but she definitely wants to be the center of attention. Her previous owner said she was good with cats but we have no way to confirm that. This little girl is an absolute heart stealer and she wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Kayli can be fostered to adopt while going through her heartworm treatment. Rocky’s here ready to rock your world! In his own kind and gentle way that is. He’s very sweet and friendly and has great manners. You can tell he’s used to a home environment because he hops right up into the chairs in our play yard unprompted and sits like such a gentleman. He also already knows how to sit and lay on command for a treat. He loves his treats and always takes them gently from your hand. He’s a good listener – especially when there’s a treat on the line! Rocky is quite attentive and focused when you have a treat for him, but he’s also happy to entertain himself. He’s got a lower energy level and comes across as very easygoing. Rocky is a very good boy on leash. He’s easy to leash up and take out, and walks well without pulling. He does sometimes gently jump up on you, but it’s usually to give you a hug or check out the treat you’re holding. Even when jumping up he’s calm and gentle. He’s all about the pets and ear scratches if you have the time. He’s even been known to allow snoot kisses!
