Story
*MISTY* / 4 yrs old, female cattle dog mix / Heartworm positive --crate trained & housetrained --spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm positive & on treatment --LOVES LOVE! Very dog friendly, but wants to be the only dog & get lots of one-on-one attention. Her ideal home is one without dogs or young kids. --*Must have a completely fenced-in yard with a tall fence and should not be left unsupervised in the yard for more than a few minutes. Misty is quite athletic; she can scale an 8-ft fence with ease, and she loves the workout that digging provides. Misty's journey began as a street dog, but she managed to overcome adversity and raise a beautiful litter of six puppies, all of whom have found loving homes. She has been living with a foster and learning all about the comforts and expectations of living in a home. Misty thrives on human companionship and would benefit from having someone present during the day. If you have a flexible schedule, work from home, or can arrange for consistent human interaction, Misty will feel secure and content knowing there's someone there to support her. While Misty does enjoy the company of children, she would prefer a calm and gentle environment. Non-rambunctious kids who understand and respect her boundaries will be able to form a special bond with Misty. She is heartworm-positive and on treatment. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up-to-date on vaccines, deworming, heartworm tested, a supply of heartworm preventative, and microchip. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with this little lady, please fill out an interest-to-adopt form at www.scdrm.com, and we’ll be in touch!

Story
Meet Loretta 💛 – Ready for Her Forever Home! Say hello to Loretta, a gorgeous ginger-and-white cattle dog with a heart as sweet as her face! At just 1.5 years old, this young mama has finished raising her adorable litter and is proving to be an incredibly gentle, patient, and devoted mom. Now it is her turn to be pampered and loved! She is resilient and is finally learning that humans can be good people. ✨ About Loretta: Beautiful ginger and white coat Kind, affectionate, and calm-natured Very nurturing—she has a gentle soul Great with people and responds well to kindness Ready to soak up attention and start a new chapter Loretta is looking for a loving home where she can finally just be a dog—playful walks, cozy naps, and all the belly rubs she deserves.
