Story
Zelda is a fun-loving and sweet dog who enjoys spending time with our two other dogs. While she may not always be the first one to greet you at the door, she absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She also enjoys her quiet moments and can often be found happily napping on the couch. Zelda’s favorite thing in the world is going on walks. She is at her happiest when she is outdoors, running around, exploring, and enjoying fresh air. Treats are also high on her list of favorite things! Recently, my wife and I got married and blended our family with her calico cat. Zelda is a well-trained dog and can calmly be in the same room with the cat, but she has had a difficult time fully adapting. At times, she becomes a little too curious and friendly toward the cat, so we have had to constantly supervise interactions between them.because we want the best possible environment for both Zelda and our cat, we have made the very difficult decision to look for a loving new home❤

Story
Meet the social butterfly Nova – she’s never met a human she didn’t love. She is a 9-month-old, 45 lb, collie mix, with a goofy but very affectionate personality. She was adopted 6 months ago from a shelter, and she was so scared she would only belly crawl for days. With time and attention, she’s transformed into a mostly confident, curious, loving girl. Nova is fully up to date on all her vaccines, is spayed, and microchipped. Nova is a playful busy bee who loves to chase balls, carry around her stuffed toys, and snuggle. She has recently learned to bring the ball back for it to be thrown again and she gets very excited about it! She gets along with dogs and currently lives with 2 other dogs but is untried with cats. She gets along great with the 5-year-old German Shepherd but has recently started having issues with our 4-year-old Shepherd mix who is no longer tolerant of Nova’s puppy behavior. Nova loves to cuddle up with her humans and is the most affectionate dog I’ve ever had. She also loves cuddling up to the other dogs or making a nest out of her blankets and snuggling down into it. An ideal home for Nova would be one with a yard. She loves to go out and sniff around, chase the other dogs, and sunbathe. She enjoys school age children but hasn’t had any exposure to kids under 6. She would do best with a human that works from home or has other dogs she can seek comfort from when the humans aren’t home. She is a sensitive girl that is moderately high energy and very happy. Nova is crate and house trained, and knows sit, come, here. We’re still working on stay and down. She is a smart pup that enjoys using her brain with treat puzzles, snuffle mats, and training. She knows how to walk on a leash but has become fearful of being on leash if trying to leave out the front door due to recently being attacked while on a walk. She has fully recovered from the attack physically but has some emotional healing she’ll continue to need love and encouragement to get through. She has no issues being on the leash in the back yard. She has recently discovered that car rides aren’t so scary when she’s in her car bed that allows her to be buckled in and feeling secure. Nova is food possessive, so she is fed separately from the other dogs. Since she is still a puppy, additional training will help with this issue. She does well taking treats from my hand with the other dogs next to her. Nova is being rehomed due to my 4 year old dog no longer being tolerant of her. After the dog attack, Nova struggled with some personality changes – not bad changes, just not tolerable to my older girl who is highly anxious and twice the size of Nova. Nova has had zero issues with my 5 year old girl who is pretty laid back so it’s definitely the 4 year old’s issue and not Nova's. Unfortunately, the stress between the two of them is too high to allow either of them to live their best life. This precious pup is deserving of the perfect furever home where she can shower you with love and silliness. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Nova today! Story
Meet Theo -- Your Gentle, Playful Companion! Born around April 1, 2025, Theo is a distinguished young pup with wise eyes and a heart full of sweetness. He adores playing with his littermates and foster family -- adults, kids, and even cats! His floppy ears often flip inside out, and he's happiest lounging on the couch with his people. Theo is a toy enthusiast, especially stuffed ones (though he's known to un-stuff them with gusto!). He's all about treats, cuddles, and soaking up attention. While he can get a little rowdy when excited, he just needs gentle guidance around smaller children. Theo is looking for a loving home with time to help him grow -- crate training, leash walking, and housebreaking are still on his to-do list. He'd thrive with an active family, a yard to play in, and a cozy indoor bed to call his own. With his giant heart and playful spirit, Theo will fill your life with joy, loyalty, and endless affection. Theo is neutered, UTD on shots and boosters, microchipped, and currently on monthly NexGard and Heartgard. Theo is part of the Guest Dog Program through DFW Rescue Me. His foster family will bring him to a home visit for any potential forever families for a meet and greet. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Theo is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.May 9, 2026, 12:08 am

This 44-pound girl is the perfect combination of intelligence, affection, and charm. She’s incredibly friendly and loves being around people—attention is definitely her favorite thing! She gets along well with other dogs and would likely do great in a home with canine companions or as a social solo pup. With her sharp mind and eager-to-please personality, she’s quick to learn and would thrive with continued training and engagement. We believe she is both kennel trained and potty trained, making her an easier transition into her forever home. On top of all that, she has absolutely beautiful markings that make her stand out wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a loving, smart, and loyal companion, she could be the perfect fit for you!Contact: steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comMay 21, 2026, 3:24 pm

Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com         Kaiser has had his heart broken more than once, and he deserves a forever home that truly means forever.  This handsome, intelligent boy has been returned through no fault of his own — first when a young child joined the family (Kaiser does best in homes without small children), and then again when his person’s job required too much travel. Despite these disappointments, Kaiser still has so much love to give and is hoping the right person is out there.  Kaiser is incredibly smart, has formal obedience training, and loves being with his people. He forms deep bonds and thrives when he has a person or family to call his own. Because he prefers not to share his space or his humans, Kaiser would do best as the only pet in an adult home where he can feel secure, loved, and understood.  He’s looking for stability, commitment, and someone who won’t give up on him again. In return, Kaiser will offer unwavering loyalty, companionship, and the kind of love only a dog who’s been waiting for his true home can give.  Kaiser doesn’t need another temporary stop — he needs his person. Could that be you? ❤️ dee.rescuedogs@gmail.comMay 21, 2026, 3:24 pm
