Hello! My name is Winnie. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m looking for a new home! I`m a very shy little girl, easily scared by fast movements or loud noises. Once I`m sure I can trust you, I`m very sweet and politely seek affection from my person. I`ve shown a little interest in squeaky toys but I`m a little too scared to really let loose yet - I`m sure I`ll get more playful in a home. I would do best in a quiet, predictable home where I can settle in and learn to trust my people. I`m more likely to succeed in an teen/adult home. I am 43lbs which makes me a medium size dog. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Hi! My name is Milo and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC as a stray on April 15, 2024 and then relinquished by my owner because they could not provide secure confinement for me. I`m still a young dog with a lot to learn! I`m working on my manners here at RASKC and am doing well. I`m very social with other dogs and have been going to playgroup while I`m here - playing with my friends helps me get my energy out so I can focus when the humans need me to. People would describe me as `fun` and `full of life.` I`m so ready to find my new family and embark on my next adventure this summer! Please know that I am quite athletic and a bit of an escape artist so secure confinement for me in the yard will be a must so I can stay safe. I weigh 53lbs and am considered a medium size dog. My personality color is GREEN. I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!

She is also available for adoption Martina is an very energetic, happy as can be 5mo old puppy that constantly has her little nub tail wagging! She currently weighs 25lbs and should be 40-45lbs when she’s full grown. She is a very social girl so an active home is a must. She loves to run, run, run so a fenced yard is also required. She would be the perfect companion for a family that does a lot of camping, hiking and maybe even some jogging. A farm where she can help coral the goats or livestock would be perfect! She loves meeting new people so a socially active home would be great, too. Martina is extremely smart so she must have lots of training games to help her become a model k9citizen. She is doing great with her crate and house training, as long as she has frequent potty breaks. Martina thrives on her doggy play dates so another dog in the home or frequent play dates is a must . A heeler experienced home is also best. Overall, Martina is a great tempered, friendly dog that is ready for a home of her own and lots of adventure!

Tasso is a gentle playful and loyal companion who will fill anyone’s life with joy. He loves walking, hiking or any outdoor activity. He would also love curling up on the couch with his human family. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive. He would fit in with a single, couple or family with children. Starting to learn commands such as recall. Ghost is a very friendly happy guy. Loves to go for a walk but is also happy laying on the couch with you. Loves to play fetch and run around the yard. Would be great a great companion for an individual, couple, or family. Ghost can be transported anywhere in the US or Canada. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. ##1553168##

Cowboy is a high energy dog. His favorite pasttimes are going for walks, playing, and snuggling. His ideal home would be with active individuals or family. He would benefit from being an only pet. He is very curious and wants to be involved in whatever you are doing. He is on the smaller side and would be good in any home environment. An active individual or family would be ideal. Oreo is a staff favorite. She is a very loving social dog. She loves long walks and having her belly rubbed.  Her ideal day is laying out in the sun and getting treats. She does get along with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. Oreo is often overlooked because she is an older dog. She would make a great companion or family pet. Her mum who we have in the rescue & rescued from death. Aussie was pregnant in a high kill shelter in CA & was going to be euthanized heavily pregnant because no one was coming to help her. Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Maggie was one of the 6 & the only female with her 5 brothers. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home & once she & her brothers were old enough they came back to WA & now Miss Maggie is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love her. Maggie is such a very soft gentle natured little lady compared to the huge personalities of her brothers. She is a little shy at first until she knows you then her loving, adventurous & curious puppy personality comes out. She loves, loves other dogs & playing with them & absolutely needs another dog in the home for her to thrive. She likes sitting on a chair & looking out the window in her foster home & taking it all in. She will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing herself around in comfy blankets. When she is comfortable her tail does not stop wagging. She is still a puppy & would still need to be taught her puppy manners. She also enjoys going up to her foster mum & resting her head on her & being close to her. She adores being held & kissed. She is such a lovely innocent girl. We also put Maggie into a daycare to socialize her with all different dog personalities & she has done well. Maggie’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She enjoys going out into the backyard in her foster home & running around playing with her friends & siblings. In CA she also enjoyed laying out in the sun & relaxing. Maggie has been great with her baths because she started having them with us in her loving foster home the moment she was able to so she is used to them. She loves both men & woman once she knows them. Maggie is a big eater as she is a growing puppy. She is not shy about eating once she is comfortable. Maggie rode beautifully in the car with her foster mum & enjoys a good journey & will also once she knows & trusts her new family to. She needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Maggie where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Maggie is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Maggie has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. In her foster home she is with dogs. A fenced backyard is mandatory for Maggie. Maggie is roughly just 7 months old & 22 lbs & is perhaps a Australian cattle & what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets & she is microchipped. She was given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies, dewormed. Maggie has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & did well with the cat in the foster home but doesn’t mean she will do well with all cats. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Maggie was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Maggie’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Maggie potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Maggie & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. My name is Oscar and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 10th, 2024.I am considered a `medium breed` dog.I want to think that I am a very smart dog, but I get so destracted by everything around me that I need a little bit of training in order to show it.I am an affectionate lovebug who would love to show you just how much of a lover I am. Though I am more than happy to take my toys and just go play by myself. So i`m the best of both worlds, a cuddler and indepentant.I am full of energy and I love to play, play, play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.Due to my over excited behavior here in the shelter, the staff believe that I would do best in a home with older children who are dog savvy.My personality color is RED.
