Story
Meet Jillian! This charming blue merle girl will melt your heart with her bubbly personality and beauty! Jillian loves meeting new people and treats every person as if they were her long lost friend. She loves following her foster family around the house, snuggling with them, or napping at their feet. Outdoors, she enjoys playing tag with her male BC foster brother, but she does not like to interact with the foster family's female dog, so she would be best in a house as an only dog or with a male. Jillian knows basic commands such as sit, down, and shake, and she is learning to be crate trained. She is very food motivated and loves getting her reward treats! Jillian does well on leash when heeling and is enjoying her daily trail adventures with her foster family. She can pull when excited by other dogs or prey animals, and her foster family is working on this through recall practice with treats. She has a strong prey drive and some herding tendencies, so she will do best in a home with no small children or cats. Jillian is current on vaccinations and is spayed. Keep an eye out for updates as her foster home gets to know more about her! Location: Madison Area Please Visit Jillian and her friends on our website https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs

Story
Oakley is a 10‑month‑old Aussie/Shepherd mix who weighs about 25 pounds and will likely stay under 30 pounds when fully grown. He’s a fun‑loving pup who thrives on attention and playtime. While the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first, Oakley’s sweet and goofy personality shines once he feels comfortable. He’ll need a patient family who can help him build confidence and continue his training as he grows. This charming boy is working on potty training, leash walking, and basic manners. Like many young dogs, he sometimes jumps or checks hands for treats without warning, so a home without small children is best while he learns. He does struggle with being left alone, so apartment living isn’t ideal. A home where someone is around often will help him feel secure and happy. Oakley gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a little timid with larger ones, and he hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a loving home that can give him the patience, guidance, and consistency he needs. In return, Oakley will shower his family with affection, playfulness, and the joy of watching him blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be. Story
Blossom is a 4 year old cattle dog mix from Oklahoma. She's a total sweetheart with a great smile who thinks she's a lap dog! She completed heartworm treatment and gained a little extra weight during her recovery, her ideal weight is around 45 pounds, so she's working on getting healthy with her foster mom's help. Blossom chills on car rides and is trusted without a crate in her foster home. She seems to be completely housebroken, walks great on a leash, is medium to low energy, and is dog & kid friendly (cats unknown at this time but we can test if needed). Blossom is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. If you're looking to add a sweet, loving shadow to your life- apply for Blossom! Story
Meet Vaughn! He’s a 9-month-old, 33 lb Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) who is excited to be here looking for his forever home! As he is a herding dog, he’ll need lots of room to run & loads of mental stimulation - he might be your own “energizer bunny” - but you’ll be rewarded with a lifelong, loyal companion. Although new in his foster home, he is a fast learner & already knows how to get into a car, wait at the door & wait his turn at dinnertime. He’s doing well with potty training & gets along great with other dogs, including his three medium size foster sisters.
