Meet Vaughn! He’s a 9-month-old, 33 lb Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) who is excited to be here looking for his forever home! As he is a herding dog, he’ll need lots of room to run & loads of mental stimulation - he might be your own “energizer bunny” - but you’ll be rewarded with a lifelong, loyal companion. Although new in his foster home, he is a fast learner & already knows how to get into a car, wait at the door & wait his turn at dinnertime. He’s doing well with potty training & gets along great with other dogs, including his three medium size foster sisters. Blossom is a 4 year old cattle dog mix from Oklahoma. She's a total sweetheart with a great smile who thinks she's a lap dog! She completed heartworm treatment and gained a little extra weight during her recovery, her ideal weight is around 45 pounds, so she's working on getting healthy with her foster mom's help. Blossom chills on car rides and is trusted without a crate in her foster home. She seems to be completely housebroken, walks great on a leash, is medium to low energy, and is dog & kid friendly (cats unknown at this time but we can test if needed). Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving.
