Story
Hi!  My name is Charlie and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my friend were surrendered to a small rescue after our owners claimed we were "chasing chickens" and said they no longer wanted us.  A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes!  I appear to be a dachshund mix (no telling what that mix might be!), am only around 1 year old but past all of that puppy foolishness and I weigh a little over 21lbs, not too small but not too big.  I love getting attention even more than getting treats (but I won't turn one down!).  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats that I've encountered.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of bedding.  I'm good on leash and enjoy going on walks as it means I get to be with you and out on an adventure.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
