Rolo is a barrel of laughs - at two years old, he still llikes to do things like chase his tail and throw his own treats in the air as entertainment! Rolo loves going on long sniff walks and meeting new friends, dog and human alike.
A typical daschund, Rolo has a big personality and doesn't hesitate to show his foster family what he wants. For example, Rolo loves to be covered by a light blanket to sleep and prefers wet food. Rolo is doing well with house training and his foster family trusts him to be left alone outside of his crate.

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
