📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. Meet Lylla :) • She rides so well that if you open the car door she gets in by herself, and she doesn't get car sick at all. If you like traveling she would make a really good buddy! • She loves playing with other dogs, running in the park, cuddles, kisses, sleeping with you, walks, hikes, and delicious food (fruit, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, meat) and treats! • Personality: She is affectionate, full of energy, loves to have fun, and adapts well to new things. She likes both people and dogs and cats (she'll play with them). She also loves to play in the park or the mountains. When she's excited, she'll purr to show her excitement. She loves to be held - she wants to fall asleep with you in your arms. She's the best dog ever! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

We believe Myrtle is a delightful mix of Beagle and Basset Hound, which basically means she got the best of both worlds: the sweet charm of a Beagle and the laid-back, lovable personality of a Basset.     Myrtle is currently on the hunt for something very important: a forever family who will adore her as much as she’ll adore them. She’s the kind of girl who greets everyone like an old friend. This sweet lady has clearly mastered the art of enjoying the simple things in life — leisurely strolls, cozy naps, and quality time with her favorite humans. She’s looking for love, a comfy spot on the couch, and a family who appreciates the wisdom and sweetness that only a mature dog can bring.     So if you’re ready to welcome this wonderful low-riding lady into your life, Myrtle is ready to make your house feel a whole lot more like home. Appy today — because every family deserves a little hound dog happiness!Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Zoey has been thriving in her foster home and is looking for a forever home to rest her head. She's comfortable in her crate at night, has mastered the dogy door at her foster home and does her business outside. She walks well on leash and gets along well with her foster dog brother. She loves to lounge on the couch with her people and take comfy naps in her dog bed. If you have room in your heart for a gentle soul who simply wants to be with you, Zoey is waiting.

Story
We adopted Festus in 2022. He's been a good company for us, but I travel every couple of months, and it has costed me quite a bit paying for a pet boarder and a walker when I go into the office. He's very good around children and very loyal. Festus will be a good companion for a dog lover who doesn't have to travel as much.
