JR is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. We think that JR is a Dachshund/Rat terrier mix. He is shy and sweet but the terrier does come out once in a while when another dog does something he doesn't like. We are fairly certain he is still under a year of age - maybe even 6 or 7 months. He weighs 17 pounds. JR was absolutely terrified in the dog pound but is flourishing in his foster home. In the beginning, he stayed close to his foster mom but now he is starting to play with the other dogs. He prefers to play with smaller dogs and is still wary of the big ones. JR is crate-trained. He sleeps in a crate at night and is crated when his foster has to leave the house. JR is not house-trained and will wear a male wrap - although he sometimes gets it off - normally with the help of one of the other dogs. He is still young and needs general obedience training. He learns quickly and is fairly well-behaved in the house. JR must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and must have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. JR is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. JR's out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Hampton NJ, Parsippany NJ, or Nanuet NY. He is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Story

Bebota is a sweet girl who can be shy when she first meets new people. She is about a year and a half to two years old and weighs around 25 pounds. She is a Sato from Puerto Rico. While in Puerto Rico she suffered an injury to her front leg which has left her with a permanent limp. However, she can keep up with the other dogs running in the yard without a problem! She has been checked out by a couple different veterinarians that said she is not in any pain, itt’s just the way her leg healed. She is a special girl not only because of her limp but because she’s a sweetheart. Bebota would love a home with other dogs or cats or with a human who is often home. She is crate trained and seems to be house trained. She enjoys walks and lots of cuddle time. Currently she is living in a home with other dogs and cats. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Bailey and baby , they are bounded and need a home together! They are quite the double act and they adore each other! They came to us together we think they could be sisters or even mother and daughter, baby does seem a little younger. They are probably daschund chi mix, baby is 21lbs and Bailey is 25 lbs!. We think baby is around 18 months old or so and Bailey maybe 2 years old. Baby energy level is 2/10, and Bailey is a 4/10!! Both are very low energy girls! These girls are very friendly and have not shown any of the ‘little dog syndrome’ we sometimes see! They have been nothing but sweet. Both have just finished heart worm treatment and will be ready for forever home/s 11/18!
