Story
Meet Buddy VI! People are so drawn to this little bundle of people-pleasing energy. He can jump as high as 4 feet to see you if heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s on the other side of the kitchen door. Sweet little Buddy came to us after a Facebook group was having a long conversation of how to help this poor abandoned dog when a family moved and left him on their porch during an icy winter. There was no time to do anything indoors, so we offered. A foster group was contacted and we became official fosters and went through their vet to get him updated shots, healthy and chipped.

In the meantime Buddy and Esa, our dog at that time, well they became fast friends. We adored Buddy, I mean he is so lovable and has those big eyes. His tail wags so much when you just look at him that I feed him a little more because itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s got to be a lot of energy! Buddy is a dachshund mix, short hair reddish brown bundle of energy. You could pet him all day or he can tootle around the house and entertain himself. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a great guard dog. If I hear a noise and Buddy does not bark, I know itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s nothing. While heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s never been crate trained or really trained at all. I had a trainer say that is is absolutely trainable because he responds to treats, will take a modest tone with his human and he is extremely sweet with the family. My Middle Scool and high school boys and their friend love him. When they come in he greets them and plays as long as they are willing.

He likes to sleep with Esa on their plush dog beds together or heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll sleep right under my bed very quietly all night long. Buddy IS house trained but if Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m visiting my mom I put him in the cutest little washable diaper just in case. He did pee on our carpet when we first got him but then adjusted. I recently got a new runner for the hallway and heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s had no issue with it. We do keep my husband office door closed. The ancient rug in there is not with the risk. Buddy is just a fun dog who runs so so fast in circles around our back yard, after a squirrel, or playing with Esa the sister dog. Itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s very unfortunate that I need to rehome, but Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll be in a small apartment soon, gone all day and caring for my parent in the evening and weekends. Just meet Buddy and youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll see what I mean. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a young active, fun seeking, people pleaser.

♥️ Let's help Rover find his Furever Home for the Holidays! Rover is a precious soul and a survivor despite all odds! He was abandoned by his previous owners with a severe tail injury and separation anxiety.. both of which have drastically improved with the proper TLC!  He's very sweet and affectionate.  He loves to cuddle and be near his person. He's house trained and crate trained.  He LOVES his daily walks and would LOVE to chase and play fetch for hours! 🥎 He’s the perfect hiking buddy and it's adorable to watch him play with his squeaky bear (Video upon request!😆) !! Another of Rover's favs are his chew bones. He's food motivated and easy to train. He's very smart and effortlessly listens to directions. He does great with cats and he's most comfortable with dogs who are older and/or slower. Rover is approx 25 lbs and he's guestimated to be 3-4 years old.  He's been neutered, chipped and tested hw neg! 🥰Quote from Rover's foster mom:   "He's honestly the best dog ever. And I've met hundreds! He will make a perfect pet for his forever home!" If Rover might be the little companion you're looking for, please reach out! Story
Buster is the sweetest little guy!! He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 24 pounds and 10 years old. Buster is great with other dogs, loves to nap and enjoys lounging in a human lap. He is house broken for the most part, though will tend to "mark" if another male dog goes potty in the house. Buster would be perfect for a retired couple, or someone who is home most of the time, as he really does love companionship, or even another dog in the home whom he can snuggle with! If interested in adopting Buster, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link:   https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Jack is a super shy boy that is the absolute sweetest once he warms up. He had some trauma and abuse when he was a baby that warranted animal control confiscating him and his siblings so that is why he is skittish. Jack warms up quicker with women than men, and definitely will need another dog in the home to play with. He LOVES other dogs, big or small. He is crate trained and potty trained. He loves to go for walks. He is scared of squeaky toys and doesn't do fetch but will happily chew on his benebone or a bully stick. (He loves food, treats, chew bones...) Once he warms up he will give kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. He will also happily sleep in his crate if his human prefers no dogs in the bed. Jack was born at the end of January 2022 and currently weighs right under 25 lbs. We think he is Dachshund, some kind of Terrier, and maybe some Chihuahua??  If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
