Pia is a 1 year old Doberman. She is great with other dogs and loves to be with her person (or people). She has some insecurities around men, as she barks at male strangers and sometimes the boys in her foster home. Her foster family is working to build Pia’s confidence to help her overcome this, and they are already seeing progress. They are also working on her mouthing and counter-surfing. Despite this, they say that she is a sweet and low-maintenance pup. She loves “her spot” on the couch, loves to run, and loves stealing clothes to snuggle up with. She is working on crate training and is doing well, and she is potty trained. No little dogs, or kids! If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1602471##

Pet is part of a bonded pair: Honey was found, along with a Boxer, on 2/10/23 in the alley behind my house. After an hour I succeeded in luring her into my backyard. She is sweet, energetic, loves to take walks, and is currently in heat. I purchased a dog crate, and she is currently hesitant in stepping inside without that little push. Of course, after I treat her, Honey understands it's to her benefit to go inside. She does not get along with other dogs however, she does with her sister, the Boxer. Coco is a beautiful 1 year old girl that is 100% up to date on her shots and is spayed. She gets along great with my 11 year old dog, I just don't have enough time in the day to give her the time and attention she deserves. She walks well on a leash, is not food aggressive with other dogs, is very treat motivated, and is just an absolute doll. She loves to cuddle with you, but will also lay on her dog bed if you tell her "night night". With treats, I was able to teach her "high five" (some people say "paw") and I also taught her to sit on the rug while I pour her food in her bowl. If you tell her "out of the kitchen", she will leave the kitchen promptly and go to the rug and entertain herself. Coco would do well in a home with other dogs, or as the only dog. She has never snapped or bitten any dogs or humans. I suspect she would love a home with children as she is very playful. Coco eats 1-1/4 cup of Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct twice a day (am and pm).
