Story
Meet Tasha! ❤ï¸ÂðŸ¾ Tasha is an adorable, approximately 16-18-month-old female Rottweiler/Doberman mix--or at least that's what her previous owners believed. We haven't done DNA testing, but based on her looks and personality, her foster family thinks she may have a little Lab mixed in there, too! Tasha is a smart, fun-loving, high-energy girl who has absolutely blossomed in foster care. She is currently enrolled in professional training at WiggleButt and is eager to learn--especially when treats are involved! 😋 Before coming into rescue, Tasha lived in an apartment and was left alone quite a bit. Her owners ultimately had to surrender her because of affordability and changes in their circumstances. Since coming into foster, she has discovered just how wonderful life can be! 💕 What Tasha Loves: 🐾 PEOPLE! She loves being with her humans and is incredibly affectionate. 🐾 Kids & dogs! She has done wonderfully with children and other dogs. She especially LOVES to play and will happily wear herself out playing with her doggie friends. 🐾 Water! Tasha is a certified water fiend. Puddle? YES. Lake? YES. Pool? ABSOLUTELY. Kiddie pool? She's in! 😂💦 🐾 Toys & tug-of-war! She loves playing with toys and especially enjoys a good game of tug with her humans or canine friends. 🐾 Being outside! She enjoys backyard play and does well on leash walks. She is still working on her impulse control and may lunge toward exciting distractions like squirrels, but her foster family is working with her on this. 🐾 Cuddling! Tasha loves being close to her people and has no problem claiming the couch, chair, or bed as her own. If allowed in bed, she may even try to convince her human to scoot over so she can stretch out! 😂 At bedtime, she settles in and typically stays put until her people start moving in the morning. If she can't sleep in the big bed, she will happily settle on her own dog bed--as long as it's right beside her people. ❤ï¸Â 🏡 A Few Things Her Future Family Should Know: Tasha is not cat-friendly, so she needs a home without cats. She is comfortable in a kennel and will go in when asked, although it isn't her favorite place. She has not shown destructive behavior when free-roaming in the house. When kenneled or left alone, she may bark for about 15 minutes before settling down. A good toy helps keep her occupied. Tasha is a confident, intelligent girl who likes to test boundaries, so she will do best with someone who is consistent, patient, and willing to continue her training. She responds very well to positive reinforcement and food rewards. She is a medium-to-high-energy dog who would be an excellent match for an active person or family who wants a dog to play with, explore with, train with, and--of course--cuddle with afterward. 🥰 Tasha would especially love a home with another playful, dog-friendly dog who can help keep her entertained. She is sweet, silly, affectionate, energetic, smart, and full of personality. She's ready for a family who will give her the structure, activity, training, and love she deserves. ❤ï¸Â Tasha is ready to find her forever family! 🐾🏡 The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.August 18, 2026, 2:21 pm

Story
Meet Draco 🐾 The first time we met Draco was in March 2022, and he was the cutest thing we had ever seen. He was born on January 2, 2022, and has been a very special part of our family ever since. Draco absolutely loves going on walks, playing fetch, and—most of all—being petted. He is happiest when he gets lots of love, attention, and time with his people. Unfortunately, our family has become extremely busy, and we’ve come to the difficult realization that we aren’t able to give Draco the time, attention, and space he deserves. This is not an easy decision for us, because we love him very much. We would love to find Draco a loving home where he has room to run, plenty of attention, and a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Our biggest priority is finding the right home for Draco, where he will be loved and cared for for the rest of his life. If you or someone you know may be the right fit for Draco, please reach out.

Story
Kali is a 2.5 +/- year old Doberman Pinscher. She was a rehome due to apartment complex rules for her breed being banned. We met the pet parents at a dog park to see how she would do with our other dog and with the dog park in general. She was fantastic and played non stop with our other dog and we brought her home.Kali is a sweet and obedient dog, She has graduated from Manners 1 and 2 at What a Great Dog facililty and has participated in an 18 day board and train with a local training group. It pains us to place her for adoption.crate trainedhouse brokenknows sit, down, place, come, heel, etc.rides well in carpulls slightly on leash due to prey drive triggers is ok with cats, will chase if they run but mostly licks themKali would thrive in a home that is active and has experience with dogs and can create an environment she can feel confident and relaxed in. She takes her job as protector very seriously.

Story
I’m Kaci, a 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix with a gentle heart and playful spirit. I get along great with dogs and kids, and I already know how to sit! I’m affectionate, curious, and love playing with toys. I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy getting attention once I feel comfortable. I can be a little shy at first, but once I open up, I’m as sweet and loyal as they come. My foster family says I’m an absolute doll and I can’t wait to find a forever home that feels the same way.

Story
Hi, I’m Belle. I’m currently in a wonderful foster home where I’m learning that life can be safe, fun, and full of love. I enjoy playing with my dog friends, love chew toys and bones, and I’m doing great with my potty training. I’m even learning that cats can be friends, too. I’m still a little shy with sudden movements, but with a patient heart and a little time, my sweet personality continues to shine. I’ll reward you with gentle companionship, unwavering loyalty, and so much love. Maybe my forever home is with you.

Arnold is a stunning 5-year-old Doberman mix with a calm, loving nature and a heart full of loyalty. At around 65 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both adventure and snuggles. Arnold is past the wild puppy days, but he still enjoys playtime, leisurely walks, and hanging out with his favorite humans. He’s intelligent, well-mannered, and eager to please — the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family. Arnold’s gentle personality makes him a wonderful companion for a peaceful home where he can enjoy attention, love, and plenty of belly rubs. Looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion with just the right amount of goofy charm? Arnold is ready to meet you! 💙
