Story
Meet Bada🩵 Last June, Bada came to Korean city shelter with broken legs. We rescued him and had him surgery. He recovered very well and became healthy!! He runs around without any problems. :) -People: He loves people so much. He always welcomes people with his bright smile. He likes to be with people but also he enjoys alone time. Never aggressive to people. -Dogs: He reacts to roughhousing so you need to be careful. But much better after getting professional training. -Walk: He's a good walker on a leash. (He doesn’t pull the leash)

Story
Meet Sarang ❤️ She is such an energetic and lively puppy! She is a big girl but she does so well living in small dog living quarters! Social with both people and dogs. 100 out of 100! 😆 * She needs some training for going for walks. She goes for walks but she crouches in fear when a car or motorcycle goes by. 😥 * She's affectionate! She loves people so much 💕 Anyone who wants to be with this lovely baby puppy from the start, apply today!!

Story
Meet Mina🩷 Mina came to Korean city shelter by herself. In contrast to her tough and strong appearance, she is timid and mild-tempered, but maybe because of her large sized body, she has been waiting for her family for a long time. She may have a lot to learn but she deserves to be loved!! We are waiting for her family who can wait and give so much love to her who is waiting for a family for so long. * She likes people and wary of them at the same time. She gets scared easily and is a shy girl. Can get scared of a sudden touch but doesn’t avoid soft touches and stays calm. Secretly likes human touches.😊 *Mina needs to be cared in a clean environment but with Center’s muddy and dirt ground touching her legs, her skin discoloration is not improving. *Likes to dig the dirt!❤️ *Gets along well with other doggy friends. She always hangs out with them and accepts other pups nibbling her.🐶 *Can eat food without being picky or complaint, and absolutely loves her treats.🍠 * Because she's scared, she barks when strangers come. But she has never shown any aggressive behavior! Just a scared girl.

Story
Animal Profile: Dobby was found wandering as a stray in Bakersfield. He was at risk for euthanasia and was rescued and sent to a partner rescue Washington. Dobby was loosing weight in a kennel environment, so he was transferred to Dog Gone Seattle in late October.   Foster Update: Dobby is what I would call a pocket sized, or petite, doberdude. His ideal weight is about 50 lbs, so if you’re looking for a pal that’s more travel sized for your convenience, Dobby could be your guy! Dobby has been working hard putting on the weight he lost and he’s finally healthy and ready to find his forever family. Until then, he’s enjoying playing in the yard with his dobie/shepherd foster friends, snoozing in his crate, and practicing his princely prance on his walks. This little guy is playful, engaging and eager to please. He’s going to make an excellent companion to one lucky family! Adoption Info:  Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was found as a stray and rescued from euthanasia at Bakersfield Shelter in California. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. Story
Animal Profile: Rainy joined us from Bakersfield on 9/17. She is estimated to be a 2-year-old Doberman and has natural ears and a docked tail. She weighs 60 lbs and is friendly with people and other dogs. She’s been kenneled with multiple dogs at the Bakersfield shelter, and is a staff favorite with her friendly smile and wiggly little nub-tailed butt. Foster Update: Rainy is a sweet girl with an old soul. She is submissive when meeting new people and does well with other dogs with proper introductions. She is currently in a home with another male Doberman and a small Chihuahua mix. Rainy can be a little sassy with other dogs about her space in the crate (she doesn't like to be crowded) but she has not had any issues with that outside of her kennel. Though she tolerates the other dogs, I do think she would enjoy being an only. In typical Doberman fashion, she is a silent shadow that would love to be attached to your leg all day if possible. She is house and crate trained, and walks well on leash. Rainy is nervous about big city noises (buses, trucks, construction) so she would do best in single-family dwelling. Rainy is sweet with the dog-respectful 3.5 year old girl in our home, and would be fine with other children who have lived with dogs. We would like to see her in a home with large breed experience; no first time dog owners please! Adoption Info:  Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Story
Animal Profile: Copper is an estimated 1- to 2-year-old, 80 lb neutered male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He was originally picked up as a stray in Georgia and joined us from via Project Freedom Ride. He was evaluated to be very friendly with dogs and people. Foster Update: Copper is young and full of energy, but it's easy to wear him out with some exercise. He loves to chase balls, although he is still working on returning and dropping them. Copper can be cautious around new people, but once he warms up to them (or they give him a treat), he is very affectionate. He is able to make friends with other dogs after slow and proper introductions. With a confident handler, Copper doesn't react much to other dogs when on leash. He likes to lead but does not pull on walks. Adopter Profile: Single family dwelling with a securely fenced yard. No cats or small animals. Large breed experience and breed experience a plus!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was picked by animal control in GA and transported via Project Freedom Ride to Seattle.  He arriving here on 10/22/22 and has been in foster care for nearly a year.  He is eager to find his forever home and is available for adoption.November 29, 2023, 12:34 am
