Story
This post truly breaks my heart to write. We adopted our boy in July 2024, and he has been such a big cuddle bug with tons of energy and love to give. He has always been great with other dogs & been to groomers, dog parks, and has done wonderful in those settings. However, after our recent military move, he hasn't adjusted well. We have three kids and two other dogs (one of which is a puppy), and he has recently started showing aggression toward our puppy and my bitten anyone. This behavior is completely unlike him, and because of our busy household, I don't have the time or ability to work through these sudden changes safely. For everyone's well-being, including his, I've made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. About Him: 3-year-old male bully vaccinations (records will be provided) Microchipped Has alopecia - coconut oil has worked great for his dry skin Sweet, cuddly, energetic, and loves attention

Story
Ares (A140507) is a 5-year-old Rottweiler who weighed just over 60 pounds on intake! 12/04/25 This goofy boy is Ares! Ares is quite the character and looking for his right place to call home. He was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog. However, he does have a rough style of play and used to roughhousing with his male owner. Ares was said to be a high energy dog and does not understand his strength. When it comes to children, he will barrel into them without even realizing it. He would do best in a home without children under 12 to avoid any accidental knockovers. Ares was stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car. Ares also knows the command sit and stay but does not always mind the best. He is also a very strong boy and could improve on his leash etiquette. Ares has no experience with smaller critters and was said to do well with other dogs as long as the other dog is not reactive. Appropriate introductions are important for setting him up for success. Ares was said to love cuddling and also enjoys having hard plastic toys (squeakers do not stand a chance)! If you are interested in meeting Ares, please let us know! December 17, 2025, 8:19 pm

Story
Eddie is a 1.5-year-old male Husky with a sweet personality and a big love for adventure! He tries his very best to behave, though he might do a little “tap dance” while working on staying still. Eddie appears indifferent to other dogs when meeting through a fence and shows off that classic Husky puppy energy—playful, curious, and always ready to go.If you’re looking for an active companion to join you on hikes, walks, or outdoor fun, Eddie would love to meet you!

Artemoose (A140550) is a 10-month-old AK Husky x Hound mix who weighed 55.3 pounds on intake!12/11/25 This pretty lady is Artemoose! Artey or Moose if you prefer! Artemoose arrived at the shelter with incomplete paperwork, but a pet sitter did reach out with behavioral information. Artemoose was said not to be fully housebroken but will try to alert you if you are home. She was said to be partially kennel-trained, but would break out of the kennels if they were not tough enough. When left alone, if not kenneled, she was known to chew up things. Artemoose would benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on her manners. She is a young active dog who needs routine mental and physical stimulation. Artemoose was said to do well with children, strangers, and adults. She was also said to do well with other dogs but was known to chase after cats. She would do best in a home without small critters that she may be tempted to chase. Artemoose is a sweet young dog looking for some guidance. If you are interested in meeting her, please let us know! December 16, 2025, 3:03 pm

Onyx does not have experience with cats, so please make sure any and all introductions are done slowly in a controlled manner. Onyx is said to be kennel trained, but he is still working on mastering potty training. His neuter may help with this. Onyx is a young dog with a lot of energy and needs some help with his manners.
