Story
09/20/23 This high energy pup is Toby! If you are unfamiliar with Jack Russell Terriers and their breed characteristics, we highly encourage you to do your research prior to adoption. Toby has go, go, go energy and is looking for an owner who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. Toby was described as being a very friendly pup but does like jump on people and would do best in a home without small children. Toby was also said to be dog friendly (but some dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm). Terriers are known to love the game of chase. If you have smaller critters, i.e. cats or pocket pets, he may not be the best fit. Toby was said to be very treat motivated and eager to please! He was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, and to ride well in a car. He may need a little treat motivation to go into his kennel. If you are interested in meeting this little ball of energy, please let us know!September 22, 2023, 4:59 pm

Story
09/20/23 This sweet little lady is Kai! Kai was said to be a wonderful dog but his prior owner felt she needed someone who could devote more time to her. If you are unfamiliar with Siberian Huskies we encourage you to research the breed. They are a high energy breed that require daily mental and physical stimulation. Kai was said to be very people friendly and does well with babies, children, strangers, and adults. She was also said to do well with other animals. Huskies are known for their high prey drive so if you have smaller critters at home, please keep that in mind. Kai was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, and to ride well in a car. She was also said to know a few basic commands like sit, down, and kennel. She is a young pup and eager to learn! Huskies are also known to be runners and Kai should be kept on a leash when outdoors. She was also known to jump fences so making sure she is supervised in a fenced in area is key! Kai does have a few naughty tendencies like digging, chewing, getting into the trash, and jumping. If you have the time and energy to devote to this sweet girl, please let us know!September 22, 2023, 4:59 pm

She is kennel trained, outgoing, friendly, affectionate, rides well in the car and does well with dogs according to her previous owner. She can be noisy, scratch things, jumps to counters to snatch food and will jump on people to say hi. She would love basic obedience classes to learn manners and some more basic commands. If you have the time for training with this sweetheart, then please give the shelter a call!06/17/22 This little lady is Daisy. Daisy can be a bit shy at first and may take some time to warm up to her new owners. Her prior owner stated that she was fearful of men.
