Story
Olaf (A140414) is a 7-week-old Lab x Husky mix available for adoption! 01/14/26 These adorable little pups are back and eager to find their new homes! They were born in the shelter after their mom arrived as a stray days before giving birth. They went to an amazing foster home with their mom until they were old enough to come back and be adopted. They have been working on potty training in their foster home and getting plenty of enrichment! A friendly reminder that puppies are a lot of work and a large responsibility. They are going to need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation as they age to live their best lives! If you are interested in meeting any of these adorable little friends, please let us know! Story
Barrett (A138022) is a 1-year-old mixed breed dog who weighed nearly 40 lbs at intake!01/10/26 This handsome guy is Barrett! Barrett arrived at the shelter as a stray and was subsequently surrendered. We do not know much information about Barrett's past. While at the shelter, he has been eager to greet all members of the care staff. He has also seemed eager to see his canine neighbors. Please make sure any and all introductions with other animals are done in a slow and controlled manner. Barrett has tried hard to keep his kennel clean while at the shelter, but he has had some accidents here so he may need some reminders on potty training. Barrett arrived at the shelter after being loose for over a week and very frightened. His next home should keep this in mind and make sure to keep Barrett supervised or secured when outside. If you are interested in meeting Mister Barrett, please give us a call!January 17, 2026, 9:11 pm

Story
Grizzly (A139367) is a 1-year-old Pitbull x Husky mix who weighed 55 pounds on intake! 01/15/26 This handsome boy is Grizzly! Grizzly was originally rehomed due to his owner moving. The family to whom he was rehomed quickly realized he was not the right fit for them. Grizzly was said to be jealous of the other dogs in the home and did not get along with the senior dog. Since they had had that dog since it was a puppy, they did not find it fair to him to keep Grizzly. Grizzly was only in their care for less than 24 hours and was said to have previously gotten along well with other dogs. It is very important that slow, safe, and controlled introductions are made. We also encourage his next owner to look into the Rule of 3 when bringing a new pet home. Grizzly is a little underweight and it would be wise to initially feed him separately from other pets to help set him up for success. Grizzly was said to have only growled at the other dogs and made no attempt to nip or snap. However, it was noted that he would chase cats and should go to a home without feline friends. Grizzly was said to do wonderfully with the children in the home and great with adults! He was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog! They also said that he was housebroken and rides well in a vehicle! Grizzly would benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners and build his confidence. If you are interested in meeting Grizzly, please let us know! January 17, 2026, 6:15 pm

Story
Netta (A140830) is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 55.4 pounds on intake! 01/15/26 This active girl is Netta! Netta arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her new home! Her finder did note that she lacks training and will get into the trash. We encourage her next owner to bring her to a basic obedience class to continue working on her manners with a certified trainer. Netta has done well at keeping her kennel clean but may need some reminders with potty training as she settles into her new home and routine. We do not know her experience with other animals or children. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new animals and people to help set her up for success. Netta is looking for a home that can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated and out of trouble! If you are interested in meeting Netta, please let us know! January 17, 2026, 6:15 pm

Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Looking to rehome my 5 year old Alaskan Husky named Kleya. She’s a complete love but she needs someone more active than I can be. Wants to spend as much time outside as possible, would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. She does not do well with dogs larger than her but can become friends with smaller dogs. She is fully house and kennel trained.
