Story
Meet FP – a cool little dude with a big personality! FP may be short in stature, but he’s overflowing with charm, wiggles, and happiness. This fun-sized boy is more than ready to trade shelter life for a home filled with love, cozy cuddles, and plenty of stuffies to call his own. FP is a medium-energy pup who will thrive with a positive outlet for his energy—walks, playtime, and adventures with his people. One of his absolute favorite things in the world is stuffed toys. While they may not survive long in his care, we can’t resist letting him pick out a new stuffy from the toy bin each day. It makes him so happy! Despite spending the last three months in the shelter, FP has wonderful manners. He walks beautifully on leash, already knows the cues “sit” and “down,” and appears to be potty trained. He’s a smart boy who clearly wants to do the right thing. FP will just need a little time and patience to adjust once he gets home. After spending a few months in the shelter, he may need some grace while he learns his new routine and settles into family life. The best part about FP? His personality. He’s cheerful, wiggly, and loves everyone he meets. We haven’t seen a shy bone in his body! In his previous home he lived with other dogs, and here at the shelter he has shown a friendly, easygoing attitude when he sees them. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting to ensure a perfect match! We absolutely adore FP and know that once you meet him, you’ll fall in love too. If you’re looking for a happy, fun companion who will greet you with wiggles and excitement every day, FP might just be your perfect match.

Story
Rev is a sweet little dude with a heart full of love and longing for his forever home! When Rev first arrived at the shelter, he was very shut down and unsure of the world around him. It seemed he may not have had many life experiences before coming to us — he had likely never walked on a leash and was understandably nervous. Despite that, Rev was always incredibly gentle and kind. After just a few days of patience and kindness from staff, he began to show us his true self. Once Rev realized he was safe, everything started to change! He learned how to walk on a leash, began asking for soft pets, and even started playfully engaging with other dogs. We are so proud of the progress this little guy has made. Rev is still learning and will do best with a patient, understanding owner who can continue building his confidence through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. While he may still be a bit shy when meeting new people, he warms up much quicker now — especially when treats and affection are involved! One thing that instantly brings Rev out of his shell is other dogs. He absolutely lights up around them! Rev is wiggly, playful, and loves to throw out adorable play bows in hopes of starting a game. He doesn’t appear to be too picky about his friends, but we are always happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet if needed. Rev also loves being outside — whether he’s soaking up the sunshine or happily romping through the snow. While toys haven’t quite caught his interest yet, having positive outlets for his energy and continued enrichment will help him thrive. Rev is a truly special boy with so much love to give. With the right person by his side to guide him, we know he will blossom into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

Story
Lilly is a senior girlie who will thrive best in a calm home. She has spent much of her life on a chain and though she has been adapting well to the shelter - she will need continued patience while she adapts and adjusts to home living. Lilly has lived with other dogs and no issues were reported. She will likely appreciate a friend who respects her space and is not looking to keep a puppy busy! Lilly is shy with meeting new people. Though hesitant initially she will gently seek you for soft head pets and neck scratches. Lilly will do best in a calm, laid back home. She can be spooked by loud noises and fast movements. Small children will likely intimidate Lilly so a home with older children is preferred. We want nothing more than to help set Lilly up to succeed! Despite most of her life as an outdoor dog she does appear to be potty trained and always keeps her space nice and tidy. Lilly also walks well on a leash and is her most relaxed shelf when embracing the great outdoors! Lilly has low energy but will enjoy regular walks in her new home. Lilly is a very sweet girl who has a lot of love to give. It`s not fair that she was dealt a rough hand in life, but we are looking forward to her bright future!

Story
Lloyd is in a foster home! Please contact to the shelter if you are interested in meeting him so we can coordinate with his foster family (:Seriously… just look at this guy! Lloyd isn’t a breed we see often at the shelter, so we’ll admit we were a little extra excited when he strutted in with all those wrinkles! Lloyd is friendly, with a sweet personality. He has done great withy meeting new people and typically acts as though he`s known you his whole life. He came to us with his buddy Reese, and the two previously lived together—they truly get along wonderfully. Here in the shelter, Lloyd has been calm and non-reactive toward other dogs, so he may enjoy having a canine companion in his new home as well. As always, we’re happy to provide a meet-and-greet to help everyone get acquainted. Lloyd has done great with other dogs in his foster home. He enjoys wrestling, playing chase and just having some company. Lloyd can be a rough player at times so a tolerable friend who matches his energy will be best! He has also met kitties in his foster home and has remained respectful of their space. Of course, we still encourage slow introductions! One of Lloyd’s absolute favorite things in the world? Butt scratches. Give him a good scratch and you’ll be rewarded with the cutest wiggles you’ve ever seen. He absolutely melts for attention and loves being close to his people. Lloyd appears to be potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows “sit.” We’re confident he’d pick up more tricks easily—he’s attentive and eager to please. He enjoys quality time, simple joys, and a balance of playfulness without being overwhelming. Lloyd is just a sweet, lovable boy looking for a family who appreciates his gentle heart, charming wiggles, and desire to be someone’s special companion. If you think Lloyd might be your perfect match, we’d love for you to meet him!
