Kacey is spayed and fully vaccinated including rabies. She is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Kacey is ready for adoption. Kacey is well-behaved and friendly but new situations make her nervous. She was nervous coming into rescue and at first was only happy when she could play with other dogs outside. Eventually Kacey gave up avoiding the people and has been sweetening up each day. In a regular home we think she will settle in faster. Kacey’s owner surrendered her due to the owners age, health and mobility issues. Kacey is potty trained and walks on a leash. She can be kenneled but doesn’t really care for it. Two things we definitely want for Kacey for her maximum happiness: a fenced yard to play in, and a playful canine friend. Adoption fee is $200. Carter and his brother Jimmy came to rescue as breeder surrenders. They are NOT mix breed but we marked chihuahua as their secondary breed to get the attention of people who may not know about Feists, as they are close relatives to Rat Terriers and Jack Russell Terriers and Chihuahuas. Feists have a reputation as great companions and family dogs and are not typically as high energy as Jacks. Carter is 5 months old and weighs 8 lbs. He is dewormed, vaccinated, neutered and on heartworm preventive. Carter is a happy, social boy. He is smart and ready to learn. Carter loves to be held and be silly. He is playful and curious and will bring lots of energy and happiness to his new family. Carter has done well with other dogs and made friends. He also takes caution well from older dogs that don’t want to be his friend. Carter loves to stretch out with his belly in the grass or the floor. He’s a sweet little fella, making good progress on kennel and potty training. He is ready for adoption. Adoption fee is $250. Holly is vaccinated, spayed and on heartworm preventive. She is ready for adoption. Holly is a bold, alpha personality little lady. She has little boy playmates right now and she bosses them all around. Holly is very smart and learns routines quickly. Holly gets along with other dogs as long as they mind what she tells them to do! She would do best in a home where another dog is not a strong alpha. Holly is playful and active. He is about 3 years old and he weighs 15 pounds. Wanda is a female mix breed. She is about 5 years old and she weighs 14 pounds. Both are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. They are ready for adoption. Wishbone and Wanda found themselves at a shelter in central Arkansas after their owner passed away. Upon coming to our rescue it was immediately apparent they are a bonded pair. Wishbone was protective of Wanda in the shelter but very loving right away with his rescue family. Wanda was scared and withdrawn at the shelter but opened up and relaxed quickly once in a home. They have been such a fun pair. Wanda had skin issues and hair loss that made her at first look like an older dog, but with some meds, Bravecto and skin sensitive food she has filled out her weight and has grown/is growing hair in all the affected places. Wanda is turning out to be a pretty little gal with an expressive face. Wishbone, healthy from the first, likes to explore and walks better on a leash (Wanda tends to pull). Wishbone and Wanda kennel together at night. They’ve never had a crate or potty accident. Wanda and Wishbone are never far apart. Both are affectionate and love to be cuddlers and couch buddies with their people. They deserve a great home and have plenty to offer in return. Adoption fee is $300.
