Story
Ralph is ????????????????????. Ralph is an outdoorsy enthusiast who is ready to hike his way into your heart & home. With his wag-tastic charm and boundless energy, he's the perfect companion for all your outdoor escapades. Ralph believes in "Ruffing it" in the great outdoors is the ultimate way to find true happiness. But don't let his rugged exterior fool you, Ralph also knows how to kick back and relax. After a long day of adventure - or not; he loves nothing more than curling up in a cozy spot with his hoo-mans. Ralph's adventurous spirit extends to all members of the family and neighbors. ?????????? ???? ???????????????? ???????? ????????, ???????? ?????? ???????? ??????????. With his gentle nature and friendly woofs, he is a fantastic playmate for everyone, ensuring endless tail-wagging memories for years to come. If you're looking for the perfect dog companion to embark on a wild journey of love, laughter and tail-wagging fun; Ralph is looking for you too!Ralph is on a special allergy-friendly diet in BCSPCA care as his previous owners noted potential food sensitivities - developing a skin rash underneath his belly at certain times. The food he ate with his previous owners was a Venison and Sweet potato limited ingredient diet which seemed to keep any rashes at bay, his owners also found that a specific cream helped to quell any flare ups as well.Other than this, Ralph is one healthy boy and now that he's booked in for a dental at his local vet, he's feeling so ready to live out the rest of his golden years in a forever home who will ensure he is the focus! Ralph has shown to have a slight fear of loud noises/thunderstorms and would love a home who would make sure he feels safe when these types of things are happening.Ralph is enjoying his life in foster so please fill out the application below and staff will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet:https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-east-kootenay/Please note: Ralph is awaiting dental surgery and will be available for adoption on June 5th!???? ?????? ???????????? ???? ???????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????????????? ???? ???????? ????????; ?????? ???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????????? ???? ?????? ???? ???????? ???????? ???????????????? ???? ??????????????????, ???? ???? ?????????? ???????? ????????????. ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???????? ??????????????????????????! ? Story
This sweet girl is Tootsie Roll! She came to us from a rural property that housed many other dogs and had limited human contact before her arrival at the shelter! However, Tootsie Roll hasn't let this stop her and has quickly learned that humans aren't too scary, and that they give lots of tasty snacks! This girl is not yet fully grown but is already a large dog, and will likely only get bigger, so any future adopters should be prepared to take on a large breed of dog that will require a fair amount of grooming to keep her fur tangle free!Future adopters will also need to be prepared to work on doing lots of socialization with this pup. She is making great progress in the shelter, but she is not yet experienced with life in the city, so leashes, and traffic, strange dogs, and cats are all unfamiliar territory for her!Tootsie was the shyest of her litter when she first arrived to the shelter, and is still gaining her confidence with the people she meets, however with consistent work, and a normal routine, this is improving every day! She is starting to gain confidence when people enter her space, and will come up to them and take treats, and gentle slow pets! She is extremely sweet however and we know once she opens up fully that she will be the cuddliest dog you could ask for! Like with all puppies and young dogs, Tootsie Roll will still need continued work with her socialization (aforementioned), basic obedience and house training. If you're interested in meeting this sweetheart, submit an application online or stop by the East Kootenay Centre from 1-4 pm Tuesday - Sunday.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-east-kootenay/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 23.3 Age: 0yrs 6mths 0wks
