Hi, I'm Luna! 🌙🐾 I've been waiting a long time to meet you. In fact, I'm Paws Fur Recovery's longest resident. I came to the rescue when I was just 9 months old, and while I've grown up surrounded by people who love me, what I've always dreamed of is a family of my very own. I'm 5 years old, about 70 pounds, and I've been told I have a smile that can light up a room. Over the years, I've worked really hard to become the very best girl I can be. With patience, structure, and lots of love, I've blossomed into a loyal, affectionate companion who's ready for forever. I'm house trained, dog friendly, and I know all my basic commands. I absolutely love learning new things, especially when my people tell me what a good girl I am. Nothing makes me happier than making someone proud! I enjoy walks, playtime, and exploring the world, but I'm just as content curling up next to you after a fun day together. I do best when life has a routine, and because I feel most comfortable in a calm environment, I'm looking for a home without small children where I can continue to thrive. I've spent so much of my life waiting, but I've never stopped believing that my person is out there. Maybe you've been looking for a loyal best friend who's smart, loving, and ready to fill your home with happiness. If you think we could be the perfect match, I'd love the chance to prove it. I've waited patiently for my forever family... maybe it's been you all along. Adoption Fee: $295 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records confirming that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. Hi, I’m Scooby! I’m an adorable 2-month-old Hound mix, and I came to Paws Fur Recovery with my four siblings. I’ve loved all the snuggles and silly adventures with my brothers and sisters, but now I’m dreaming of a family and a cozy spot to call my very own. I’m an energetic, playful, and curious little guy who is always ready for some puppy fun. I love exploring, playing, and discovering all the exciting things the world has to offer. When I’m all tuckered out from my adventures, I’m more than happy to settle in with my favorite people for cuddles. I’ve been told I give some pretty great puppy hugs, too! I’m looking for a family who will give me lots of love, patience, training, adventures, and a lifetime of cuddles. I have so much love to give—I’m just waiting for my people to find me. Could you be my new best friend and forever family? Story
Hi, I’m Hope. I’m a 7-month-old, 48-pound Anatolian Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix, and my name feels especially fitting right now, because hope is exactly what I have for my future. I’m a beautiful but shy girl who was recently surrendered and found myself in a loud, crowded shelter. I didn’t understand what was happening or why everything around me had suddenly changed. Thankfully, Paws Fur Recovery came to my rescue and gave me a safe place to land. On my first day, I was very unsure of everything. There were new people, new sounds, and a new environment, and all I wanted to do was lie quietly in my kennel. I wasn’t quite ready to trust that everything was going to be okay. But the directors and staff at Paws Fur Recovery could see that I needed a little extra love and reassurance. They were patient with me and gave me the time I needed to feel safe. Then they introduced me to some younger puppies, and something began to change. Being around them made me feel comfortable, and little by little, I started coming out of my shell. I’m beginning to realize that there are good things ahead for me. I know I’m in good hands while I’m here, and every day I’m learning that I can trust again. But this is only one stop in my journey. What I really want is a loving family of my very own—a family who will be patient with me, help me continue to build my confidence, and show me that I never have to wonder where I belong again. I’m Hope, and I’m hoping my forever family is out there waiting for me. Story
Hi, I'm Jade! 💚🐾 I'm a beautiful 2-year-old Heeler mix, about 45 pounds, and while I can be a little shy at first, I promise I'm worth getting to know. Once I trust you, I'll be your most loyal, loving companion, always happy to be by your side. Life hasn't always been easy for me. I was found as a stray, so what I want most now is a place where I can finally feel safe, secure, and loved. I'm dreaming of a quiet home where life moves at a peaceful pace. One of my favorite things to do is go for walks. I walk beautifully on a leash and naturally like to stay close to my person. After our adventure, I'd be perfectly happy spending the rest of the day relaxing together at home. If you're someone who enjoys simple moments, I think we'd make a pretty great team. I also have a very important wish list for my forever home. I'd love a single-family home where I don't have to use an elevator—they're just not my favorite thing. I'd really love a home where I can sit by a window and watch the world go by. Seeing all the birds, squirrels, neighbors, and everyday excitement outside is one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I'm looking for an adults-only home where I can continue building my confidence in a calm, predictable environment. I get along well with other dogs, so I'd be happy to share my home with a respectful canine companion. Sometimes thunderstorms make me nervous, so I'll need someone who understands that I just need a little reassurance, patience, and a cozy place to feel safe until the storm passes. I'm not asking for a perfect life—just the right one. Someone who enjoys daily walks, quiet evenings at home, and giving a shy girl the time she needs to blossom. If you choose me, I promise to fill your home with loyalty, love, and plenty of sweet moments. I can't wait to meet you. Story
Hi, I'm Elfie! 🤍 I've been told I'm a little... quirky. Personally, I like to think it makes me charming. I'm one of the rescue's longest residents, and while I've been waiting a long time for my forever family, I know my perfect person is out there somewhere. I like to take things slow when meeting new people. I'm not the kind of guy who falls in love with everyone the second we meet—I need a little time to get to know you and build trust. But once you're in my circle, you'll have a loyal best friend for life. I'm a big fan of going on walks, and everyone says I'm wonderful on a leash. I love exploring new places, sniffing all the interesting smells, and then heading home to relax. A quiet, predictable home where I can feel safe and comfortable is exactly what I'm looking for. I get along with some other dogs, but I'm a little picky about my friends (aren't we all?). Because I'm a bit of a quirky guy, I'd be happiest in an adults-only home with someone who understands that every dog is different and is willing to let me settle in at my own pace. Now, let's talk about the important things... treats! I'm a huge fan of snacks, especially pup cups, and if you spoil me a little, I definitely won't complain. A few treats, a comfy place to nap, and someone to love—that's really all I'm asking for. If you're looking for a dog who will instantly be everyone's best friend, that might not be me. But if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and love, I just might be your perfect match. I've been waiting a long time to meet my person... maybe it's you. Story
Hi, I'm Inky! 🖤 I'm a 4.5-year-old, 76-pound goofy, lovable gentleman who's looking for my forever family. Everyone here keeps telling me I'm one of their favorite dogs (I try not to let it go to my head!), but somehow, I'm still waiting for my happily ever after. The really exciting news? I'm thriving in my foster home! My foster family says I've settled in like a pro, and I'm doing amazing with my two foster dog siblings. It's been so much fun having canine friends to hang out with, and I've shown everyone just how well I fit into a home. My favorite thing in the world is being with my people. Whether we're going for a long walk, exploring outside on one of my famous lizard-hunting adventures, or just hanging out together, I'm happiest when I'm included. I also happen to know a few tricks, and if you have treats (especially a pup cup!), I'll happily show them off. I've got all the important stuff down, too! I'm house trained, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I'd love a home with a fenced yard where I can safely sniff around, or an active family that enjoys walks and outdoor adventures as much as I do. Even though I'm one of the rescue's longest residents, I haven't given up hope that my perfect family is out there. I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to find the people who will finally call me their own. Could that be you? I promise to bring plenty of laughs, endless loyalty, and lots of sloppy kisses. I think we're going to be best friends.
