Story
🐾 Meet Luna – A Bright Star Ready to Shine! 🌙 Luna is a stunning 4-year-old, 70 lb sweetheart with a heart as big as her smile! She’s been with Paws Fur Recovery since she was just 9 months old, and during that time she’s blossomed into a loving, loyal, and eager-to-please companion. With patience, structure, and lots of love, Luna has made incredible progress. She’s house-trained, dog-friendly, and knows all her basic commands. Luna absolutely thrives when she has routine and positive reinforcement — she loves learning and making her people proud! She enjoys playtime and walks but is just as happy lounging by your side. Luna would do best in a home without small children, simply because she’s more comfortable in a calm, confident environment where she can keep flourishing. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate girl who’s ready to start her next chapter, Luna may be the perfect match. After all, she’s waited patiently for her forever family — could that be you? 💛 Adoption Fee: $295 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records confirming that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. 📩 Apply today: https://pawsfurrecovery.org/adoption-application/

Story
Meet Elfie Elfie is our quirky, sweet boy who has been patiently waiting over a year for his forever home—and we just know the right family is out there for him. He has a special way of making everyone smile, and it’s no surprise that our staff and volunteers absolutely adore him. Elfie gets along well with other dogs and is a joy to walk—he’s great on a leash and loves heading out on new adventures. While he enjoys getting out and about, Elfie would truly thrive in a calm, relaxed environment where he can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. He’s a big fan of being spoiled with treats and pup cups (and he never says no to a little extra attention). Elfie has so much love to give and would make a loyal, gentle companion for someone ready to give him the forever home he’s been waiting so patiently for. Adoption Fee: $295 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records to confirm that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. She’s an active, happy girl who truly thrives on companionship—especially with her sister Rosebud, to whom she is very closely bonded. Story
Meet Inky – Our Goofy, Lovable Gentle Giant! 🖤 Inky is a 4.5-year-old, 76-pound lovable pup who has been patiently waiting over a year for his forever family — and we honestly can’t understand why. He’s one of our most adored dogs and a true favorite among volunteers and staff thanks to his goofy charm and endlessly lovable personality. Inky loves everyone he meets and thrives on being around people. He’s a strong boy who enjoys heading out on fun outdoor adventures (especially his famous lizard-hunting excursions), but what matters most to him is simply being included with his humans. He’s happiest when he’s near his people, soaking up attention and showing off his tricks in exchange for treats — with pup cups being his absolute favorite reward. He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Inky would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely explore, or with an active family who enjoys long walks and outdoor time. He is friendly with other dogs but prefers female companions — his current best friend is Luna, our longest resident. After more than a year in rescue, Inky is more than ready for his second chance. Sweet, loyal, and full of love, he’s just waiting for the family who will finally give him the forever home he deserves. Adoption Fee: $375 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records to confirm that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. Story
Meet DONZI! This handsome boy is a roughly 1.5 to 2-year-old Great Pyrenees, weighing about 85 pounds. True to his breed, Donzi is a gentle giant with a calm, loyal, and steady personality. He’s wonderful with the majority of dogs and has that sweet, easygoing nature that makes Great Pyrenees so special. When Donzi was rescued, he had a serious chunk missing from his leg from what we assume was an unwelcome encounter with some barbed wire while running astray. Thanks to the care of his rescue team, he was stitched up and after 3 months of daily wound care and lots of TLC, he is now healed ENTIRELY. His resilience shows just how strong and loving he is — despite what he’s been through, Donzi continues to trust and give love freely. Donzi is ready to find a family who will give him the love and security he deserves. Whether he’s relaxing in the yard (his favorite domain), joining you on a walk, or simply being your fluffy best friend, Donzi will fill your days with warmth and companionship. Although Donzi is often a gentle giant, he requires a home with a firm handler able to accommodate his large breed. Please note: Home checks and veterinarian checks are required for adoption. Adoption fee: $350. Please visit https://pawsfurrecovery.org/adopt to apply!
