Sweet pup that we rescued from a kill shelter. Always has that boxer breed concerned look but is a loving and happy dog. Happy with animals she knows but on walks you need to be on alert. She’s good off leash as well. Unfortunately it’s just too much with a two year old and my living situation. Want to see her go to a loving home

Cappuccino is a lovable 2-year-old pup full of energy and personality. He’s playful, affectionate, and enjoys being around other dogs. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may still have an occasional accident indoors. Cappuccino can get excited during play and may sometimes nip, but never aggressively. He is a very strong dog and will need someone willing to continue working with him on leash manners and basic training. He would do best in a home without cats, as he does not get along with them. We are sadly looking to rehome him because we currently have six cats and are unable to safely keep them separated. Cappuccino has so much love to give and would thrive with an active family or owner who can match his energy and help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he can be.

Story

Bijou is a ~6 year old all American dog. She was adopted in Colorado from a TX rescue I believe. I have been fostering her since November when her owner moved out of the country and could not take her. She is very quiet, although will alert bark when someone she doesn’t know comes to the door. She is good with other dogs but does take a while to warm up to them. She is a snuggler once she gets to know you, but is also independent and loves to lay in the sun. She is a great sleeper! She learns routine fast! Good on a leash. Knows a few simple commands but would thrive with someone who has the time to teach more.
