Story
Meet Bart, a 4-year-old mixed breed who was originally brought to us as an owner surrender in 2024. He’s a well-rounded dog with a moderate energy level, making him a great fit for someone looking for a companion who enjoys both playtime and downtime. Bart has experience living in a home and comes with some great basics already in place—he’s housetrained, knows basic commands, and settles nicely into a routine. He enjoys playing with toys and will happily entertain himself, but one of his favorite things is simply being close to his person. Bart is a big fan of cuddling and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. Bart is dog selective and would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can have his space and build a strong, focused connection with his owner. He is also looking for an adult-only home, as he is not a good match for households with children. With his moderate energy and ability to settle, Bart could do well in an apartment or condo setting, as long as his daily exercise and enrichment needs are met. He would thrive with an adopter who has some experience and can provide structure, consistency, and continued guidance. Bart is a loyal, affectionate dog who is ready to find a stable home where he can relax, play, and be someone’s constant companion.

Meet Cosito, the bundle of energy with a heart as big as the ocean! Cosito is a spirited companion who's always ready for an adventure. Rescued and ready for his forever home, Cosito is eager to find a family who shares his love for fun and excitement. With his high energy level, Cosito is the perfect companion for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. He's a water enthusiast, making him the perfect companion for beach days or trips to the lake. Cosito also enjoys being pampered oh and potty training? dont even worry i already nailed that! But what truly sets Cosito apart is his spunky attitude always making others laugh and bring joy. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or going for a walk in the park, Cosito is happiest when he's by your side. Although Cosito is a lovable companion, he does have a tendency to jump fences, so a secure yard is a must for him. Cosito is also dog selective so proper introductions are a must. While Cosito is strong on the leash and reactive so cosito would do best with an experienced adopter who can give guidance and training, he'll become the perfect walking companion. Overall, Cosito is a spirited and lovable pup with a zest for life, ready to bring joy and excitement into the lives of his forever family, he would do best in a home with adults only as Cosito isnt the biggest fan of the littles he just needs some good guidance to show they arent so scary. Cosito is bursting with love for his right people and a gentle giant at heart so are you ready to welcome this adventurous companion into your home?

Story
Meet Monroe, a stunning 5-year-old Great Dane has endured more than her fair share of hardship, but you’d never guess it by the gentle way she looks at you. Monroe was rescued from a puppy mill, where she spent her early years in confinement, used for breeding without ever knowing the love, comfort, or freedom every dog deserves. Now safe in our care, Monroe is slowly discovering what it means to be a cherished companion. Despite her past, Monroe has a truly tender soul. She’s a calm, observant girl who approaches the world with quiet curiosity and growing confidence. While initially shy in new environments, Monroe warms up beautifully with time and patience. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate—leaning in for soft pets, resting her head in your lap, and quietly following you from room to room just to be close. She gets along well with other respectful dogs and would do best in a calm home with adopters who can offer her the stability and compassion she needs to continue healing. She’s learning how to enjoy the simple joys of life—soft beds, gentle hands, slow walks, and peaceful afternoons. We believe Monroe has never lived in a true home before, so she’s still getting the hang of house manners and daily routines, but she’s making wonderful progress. This regal girl has so much love to give. All she needs is a kind, patient family who will show her the life she’s always deserved. If you’re ready to open your heart to a survivor who’s ready to bloom, Monroe is waiting to meet you!
