Available 06/04/2026 This is Bella, she is a very sweet 7 year old gal,we were told a grey hound mix. She is a very good girl who just enjoyed laying on her bed and being with her people. She is pretty quiet once she gets to know you but a little shy at first. She needs to be in a single dog home with adults only or older children who know to leave her alone when she is done. She was brought to the shelter since she got in a bad fight with the other dog in the family over food. She has been fine here with her food, so it seems to be dogs are the trigger. She has been around cats, but isn't super fond of them. If you have questions or would like to meet her come into the shelter. Available 06/08/2026 This is CB, he is some kind of bully breed mix between the ages of 2-4. He is a sweet boy but he needs a home with a firm hand. He is very big boy and he hasn't fully realized his size. He would be best in a home with older children that can hold their own. Right now he is hitting close to 80lbs of darn near pure muscle so he is strong. He does take correction well, and is trainable. he came from a home where he was undersocialed so he is scared of new things, but with a little help he does what needs done. CB absolutely needs to be in a home with no other animals. If you are interested or have questions come in and meet him. He is an incredibly athetic pup so he is not a dog you can just leave in the backyard. He needs strucutre and training. He is good with kids, most other dogs, but unknown with cats. Available 05/18/2026 We apologize in advance for his photo. He does have eyes we promise they are just the same color as his fur! So he somewhat looks blind in this photo. This is Hubie, he is a small mixed breed pup. Right now he is around a year old so still very young. He is a sweet pup and very loving but he is also nervous around new things. He learns quick and is very intelligent. Hubie was found by a family and they also had another dog. He does extremely well when he has another dog similar in size to be with. He likes to mimic the animals around him. With that being said he would do best in a home that does have another small to medium dog. Hubie has been on the run for a while from humans and a dog is the only thing that caught him. He loves to run and without a fenced yard he would definitely be on the run again. He is not leash trained, but we will begin working on it. He would also do best in a lower stress environment so older children or teenagers. Available 06/08/2026 This is Riot! He is a very lovable Border Collie mix around 1.5 years old. He is an energetic ball of fur but oh so smart. He knows pretty much all of his basic commands and does amazing riding in cars. He does struggle with greeting people but that is something we are working on. He is good around some dogs and not others, he has been around cats in the past, but would need some work on leave it. He is accustomed to several differne training methods. He will be an incredible dog with a little further work. His previous owners put in some good effort so he could find a nice home. Riot has also been around children, but we may suggest a family with older children that know when he needs to be left alone. Hi! I am a 2 year old pup from Rexburg. I'm energetic, playful, cuddly, and very loyal once I bond with my person. I love sleeping in bed with my humans, playing with other dogs my size, and staying close to my family. I have lots of energy, so I'd really love a home with a securely fenced yard where I can run around and explore safely.I can get anxious and protective sometimes, especially when I feel trapped or around high-value things like food or toys. Because of that, I've had minor nips and one bite incident during a stressful territorial situation where I felt I could not run away. The adult I bit was okay (no stitches), but my family wants to be honest so I can find the right home.I would do best with experienced adults who understand dog boundaries, probably no small children. I'm smart, trainable, protective, very loving when I feel safe and understood. With patience, consistency, exercise, and the right environment, I would be the most loyal companion.
