Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Boise, ID Hachiko is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 33 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Hachiko is good with cats and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around children. No farm animals, due to his reactivity! He is given fluoxetine for his separation anxiety. Hachiko has bitten the owner once (level 2 bite on the Ian Dunbar scale) on his right forearm. He has also lunged and snapped at his owner and the owner’s partner unprovoked numerous times. The owner is surrendering Hachiko because he has unpredictable moments of reactivity towards himself and the owner’s partner. The owner is also worried that Hachiko will go after their chicken and indoor rabbit. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Hachiko, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Hachiko. Owner’s Contact Information: Aaron Mondada at (208) 863-2280 or aamondada@gmail.com.

Story
Shiloh is a very sweet 6 year old girl. The vet thinks she is Collie, Husky, Shepherd, but to me that face says there's Corgi in there somewhere! We adopted Shiloh from a rescue at 3 months old after someone discovered her and her litter mates thrown in a dumpster. She has always been timid, but as our kids have aged and our house has become increasingly noisy and active Shiloh has become unhappy and spends most of her time hiding in the basement. Shiloh is good with kids, adults and other dogs (she's never been around cats) but she does need a quieter/calmer home. She also loves a good bone, chasing a ball in the backyard, running through the snow and laying in front of the fireplace! The only reason she's not up to date on shots is because she's not a fan of going places.

Story
Nala has been such a wonderful addition to our home the last couple years but can no longer give her a stable home. We took her in as a foster to save her from the shelter and she’s stayed with us longer than anticipated. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a place to live that will allow her to stay with us. She needs a family with lots of love and all the attention to give. She does really well with other dogs/cats and any age children. She has such a kind heart, is so gentle and loving. Her favorite things in the world are belly rubs, playing fetch, and treats. She loves to be in the same room as you, just off to the side asleep. She loves rubber toys the most, especially balls. She does have a favorite ball she cannot be without that she'll come with. We also have a crate for her if you'd like it, it's her safe space and she loves to sleep in there. She is almost 3 years old, birthday around early May. She’s a mix of chow chow, German Shephard, and border collie.
