Available 06/04/2026 This is Bella, she is a very sweet 7 year old gal,we were told a grey hound mix. She is a very good girl who just enjoyed laying on her bed and being with her people. She is pretty quiet once she gets to know you but a little shy at first. She needs to be in a single dog home with adults only or older children who know to leave her alone when she is done. She was brought to the shelter since she got in a bad fight with the other dog in the family over food. She has been fine here with her food, so it seems to be dogs are the trigger. She has been around cats, but isn't super fond of them. If you have questions or would like to meet her come into the shelter. Available 06/08/2026 This is CB, he is some kind of bully breed mix between the ages of 2-4. He is a sweet boy but he needs a home with a firm hand. He is very big boy and he hasn't fully realized his size. He would be best in a home with older children that can hold their own. Right now he is hitting close to 80lbs of darn near pure muscle so he is strong. He does take correction well, and is trainable. he came from a home where he was undersocialed so he is scared of new things, but with a little help he does what needs done. CB absolutely needs to be in a home with no other animals. If you are interested or have questions come in and meet him. Available 08/10/2026 This is Storm! He is a 4 year old husky. He is a very vocal dog so you will need to take appropriate measures if he is to go into an apartment. He is pretty active an he has the capability to be an escape artist. He would need to be in a home with older children or adults only. He is incredibly skittish around new people and needs calm and patience. Before he came to our shelter he was roaming on his own for quite a while before he was caught by another shelter. He seems to be with female dogs of similar size and with non-dominant males. Storm is a very good boy if given the time and attention he needs. He loves just being outside and exploring. He is very sweet once he gets to know you, also look at those gorgeous eyes! If you are interested come in and meet him! The way she is right now might be best in a single dog home unless you are willing to work with her. She needs a home with children over 12 she does not like little kids. House trained, crate trained. She is anxious in the beginning but she just needs some patience and time. Once she warms up and calms down she is the sweetest companion. Available 06/30/2026 After a long awaited time Cooper is finally up for adoption. During his evaluation we found out a couple things. Cooper must have a grain free diet or he will get an upset tummy and start to drop weight. Cooper absolutely loves children. He is very calm with them and seems to like them more than adults. He is good with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Upon further review we think he might be an Anatolian, Great Pyrenees mix. He is a very sweet boy and would make an excellent family dog. Cooper has been on several foster trials and done amazing at each. He is great with children and very gentle. From what we have been told he is also house trained. You would just need to work with him on your schedule. He does like going outside, but he can also work in an apartment if you have the time and dedication to give him the mental and physical stimulation he needs. Available 07/06/2026 This is Elsa! Unfortunately she was recently adopted and things did not go well. We had introduced her to cats here but when she is in a home it is a different situation. She will hurt them if she sees them and needs a home without cats and probably most small animals. She is a Great Pyrenees and a very sweet girl with humans and other large dogs. She is good with both adults and children although she does like to jump on people and with her size she could most definitely knock over a small child. She does take correction well and learns quickly. She would also make an excellent family dog as she is very friendly with pretty much everyone she meets. If you are interested come in and meet her!
