Story

Oreo came into the shelter as a stray after being found at a 4H fairground. Nobody came to reclaim this handsome boy, so he's ready to move on. He's around 1 year old, and weighs around 50 pounds. He's neutered and heartworm negative. He has been vaccinated with Distemper, Rabies, and Bordatella. Oreo is an energetic boy who loves running, car rides, playing in his pool, and going on walks. He's very friendly with people, and he's always trying to play with the other dogs through the fencing or on walks at the shelter. However, he had leash free time with another dog, and he showed some possessiveness with his toy. They did so well until the other dog took his toy, then he was not okay with sharing. They were perfectly fine again through the fencing immediately after, and he hasn't shown any toy possessiveness towards people, but he hasn't learned to share with other dogs. Since the incident, he happily hiked for over a mile with the dog that he was previously upset with for taking his toy. During the hike he was all tail wags and good vibes. They walked side by side and sniffed all the interesting trees together. His running mindset doesn't mesh well with cats, so he needs to be in a home without cats. Oreo is ready to continue to learn and to have lots of playtime and cuddles with his forever family.

Carli was a stray who had been running loose around town for a while so she's very scared and extremely thin. She's now safe at the shelter where she is getting the love, attention and care that she needs. She's very sweet with the volunteers but very scared of the other dogs and cats.

Kylo was brought into the shelter when his owners could no longer keep him. He lived happily in a home with other dogs and children, but he’s not a fan of cats. He's around 1 year old and he weighs around 72 pounds. He's heartworm negative and vaccinated with Distemper and Bordatella. Kylo is a very sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. He knows the sit command and is very gentle when taking treats. This friendly boy is ready to be back in a home.

Nala is a bundle of joy. She is so happy and loves to play fetch. She is 10 months old. The smartest dog I’ve ever owned. She loves to take drives and sits on your lap the whole time. She loves attention and playing. Very social she loves to be inside and outside, just super happy just being with you. She likes everyone in our family of 5. When she goes outside she doesn’t even need a leash, she stays right with us.

Volker is a handsome, energetic, loving, and wonderfully wild boy! At around a year and a half old, he still has plenty of puppy energy and absolutely loves attention.Volker has been raised primarily as an outside dog, although he does come inside occasionally. He is crate trained and does very well in his crate. Because he has spent most of his life outdoors, he is not fully potty trained yet and will need someone willing to continue working with him.Like many young dogs, Volker can be destructive, especially when left alone. He needs a home with someone who has the time, patience, and energy to provide him with the training, structure, exercise, and attention he needs to thrive.Volker does great with children of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He is not a fan of cats, however, and will chase them whenever he gets the opportunity, so a cat-free home would be best for him. Volker has so much love and personality to give and is ready to find the forever family he deserves!
