Story
Levi is a very loving and sweet German Shepherd and Red Healer mix. He is fully house broken and sleeps soundly through the night in his own bed. He is about 10 years old but still has plenty of energy and no health issues. He is definitely is at his happiest when he can get daily exercise. He knows basic training and walks well on a leash, he is very smart and trainable. A kong full of treats is his favorite! It breaks my heart to have to re-home him but he does not get along with our lab. That being said it would probably be best if he went to a home as an only dog as he has shown reactive behavior. He is great with people, fine with some dogs, and not good with other dogs. I don't know what the trigger is that makes him reactive with certain dogs. He will make a wonderful companion for the right family. He will come with his collar, harness, and kong.

Story
We were given Wendell as a puppy. He was an amazing dog and I saw to it that we did all the proper training with him and he was a well behaved dog that was good with kids and other dogs. When he was about 7 months old he started having seizures. Our vet was overseeing these seizures and over time he has been put on two seizure meds and and an anxiety med. The seizures have changed him and what at one time did not bother him, now affects him a lot. We have two wild 5 yo little boys that live here and this seems to affect his seizures and his anxiety and his behaviors are no longer compatible with our fam. It is like he was never trained. He is just wild and 3x he has caused me to fall, the last time causing me damage to my back. He has never been aggressive and he has never attempted to bite, but because of his behaviors we have to keep him crated a great deal which is not fair to him. He needs a quieter home with lots of love and someone who can handle a dog with his special needs.

Story
Lucy is a sweet girl. She loves to be outside even if shes just sunbathing. She is more on The lazy side and always happy to take a nap. She is very happy to see you when you get home always ready to give you kisses. She is roughly 4 years old with lots of spunk. Shes been potty trained and kennel trained but is responsible and well behaved to be left in the house alone. She loves bath time and even loves hanging out in the water on hot days. Lucy is all around a good girl and great companion.

Story
I got Rueger from a local couple when he was 8 weeks old. He is a sweet boy that needs more attention and someone familiar with training large breed dogs. I unfortunately don’t have the experience or time to train him properly so he has become mostly an outdoor dog. He is crate trained and knows a few commands (sit, shake, load up). He gets along with the other dogs in our home and ignores the cats. He has some bad habits due to lack of training. He jumps on you sometimes when you’re playing with him. He gets pushy when he wants your attention. When he’s inside he’s in his crate so his house manners need some work as well.

We got rocko 3 years ago from the Kansas humane society. He has been a very loving friend to us. He is 5 years old and loves toys and treats. Looking for a new home to love him for many more years.

Adopted Iris and her brother together as pups . She’ll be 3 yrs old this year. Non destructive and loves her Nyla Bones. Loves to cuddle and give kisses. Socialized with humans and dogs similar in size at the dog park and home. Loves to run outside and easily distracted by butterflies. Very happy and all around sweet girl. Thrives on approval, affection and being with her humans. Iris will live her best life with an owner that does not have small pets, keeps her inside with them but also has a fenced backyard. An owner with plenty of time for attention, affection and a little training. She is leash trained, loves being walked and enjoys running freely in open areas.
