Story
**Meet Lucy ❤️** Lucy is an 11-year-old Labrador Retriever looking for a loving home to spend her golden years. She is a sweet, loyal girl who loves being around her people and enjoys lounging around the house just as much as spending time outside. Lucy is house trained, well-mannered, and has been a wonderful family dog. She has a calm personality and is past the puppy stage, making her an easy companion. She enjoys attention, naps, and simply being part of the family. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we've recently discovered that our daughter has a pet dander allergy, and after trying to make it work, we've realized finding Lucy the right home is what's best for everyone. Our biggest wish is to find someone who will love Lucy as much as we do and give her the comfortable, happy retirement she deserves. She still has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, devoted dog.

Story
Luca is looking for a loving home where he can truly thrive.Luca is turning 2 in June and has the biggest heart. He’s goofy, loving, full of personality, and absolutely loves being around people. He’s the kind of dog that will make you laugh daily and quickly become your best friend.Luca does best as the only pet in the home, as he prefers having all the love and attention to himself. He would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard where he has room to play, but he also does very well indoors and loves spending time with his people.

Story
Hi, I'm Bernie, a senior dog who loves to lounge around and cuddle. I'm quite the friendly chap, always up for a playful moment or two. My owner passed away and I’m looking for place to live out my golden years. Despite my outgoing nature, I can be a bit shy at first. I get along well with other dogs and cats too, making me a great addition to any family. I'm quiet, well-behaved in my crate, and I'm working hard on my potty training. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion to share your couch and heart with, I'm your guy! Why not bring me home? To meet me, fill out an application at waalrescue.org/adopt.

Story
Hi, I'm Minnie mouse! I am a cute tripod Don’t worry though: I can still do everything a 4 legged a dog does! I love running in the backyard with other doggies, playing fetch, and following my foster mom everywhere, even up & down the stairs! I'm a very good girl and am potty trained, kennel trained & leash trained. I My favorite thing in the whole wide world is snuggles. I sure can't wait to find my forever snuggle buddy! I’m currently learning how to “leave it” and about giving my foster kitty siblings space. I like them so much, but apparently they don't want to play a bunch like me. I’d really love to find a family who is just as passionate about playtime as they are about afternoon naps. Please consider bringing me home, I promise I’ll love you for life! I will need joint supplements for life, but otherwise I'm a healthy girl. To meet me, fill out an application at waalrescue.org/adopt.
