Story
Remember a while back how I said I was new to the fostering game? Well now I'm a pro at it! I've been living it up in a foster home for a couple years now and there's a lot about me to love! I'm kid friendly, I enjoy both snuggling and being lazy and going for walks and jogs, and I love running playing with my non-dominant doggie pals! I'm also a great jumper and climber so a 6 foot privacy fence would be best for me! Also did I mention I'm super smart? I'm kennel- and house-trained and I know sit, down, come, and wait. Speaking of waiting... I'm still waiting for my furever family! Come and get me!! Betty's foster believes she would benefit from a firm handler who likes to exercise!

Story
Hi I'm Vera Louise (foster mom added Louise, I can take it or leave it). I LOVE treats, here are a few of my favorites strawberries, oranges, raw broccoli, carrots, popcorn and of course any dog treat. I know sit, lay, stay (mostly but I can be stubborn), I can stand on my hind legs (but only for treats), and I give hugs. I'm a lovable girl who needs a patient and calm home. I like to cuddle at night so the bigger the bed the better! I've been in my foster home for almost 2 years. My ideal home would be a home without other dogs because quite frankly I don't care for other dogs. I like older kids and a home that is fairly calm, chaos kinda makes me nervous and jumpy. I've never really been around cats. I have had a rough past (haven't we all!) but I'm learning that there are good caring people out there! If you'd like to meet me have your people call my people! See you soon.

Story
Gunner has been with us for quite some time, waiting for the perfect forever home. He is a big, strong boy and is not the "perfect" dog because he does have some quirks, but due to his past we can completely understand. He really is such a lovable GOOD BOY. Gunner was found abandoned left chained in a back yard starving day after miserable day. While at the shelter he was incredibly fearful and reactive through the kennel bars but once out just wanted to be loved, we couldn't walk away and leave him to die alone and afraid. He does have some barrier reactivity (when there is a leash, kennel, fence) with dogs, but is dog friendly in his day-to-day life. He loves kids and in his previous adoptive home, before he was returned, was BFFs with a blind kitten. Gunner's energy level is medium but will really be whatever you are. He loves all visitors. I usually let them in before I let him come say hi because of the barrier issues he has with kennels could be an issue at a door. He knows several commands and is a super snuggly boy. Men are his absolute favorite, he's a total dude's dog. He is good with kids and has lived in a home with newborn through 10 years old. He can sometimes not be aware of his size when he gets excited and he will take a kid out and not think twice of it. But takes food gentle and likes to follow them around. He doesn't care whose stuffed animal he has, he will destroy it. He does love car rides, sometimes can be nervous but wants to go. Hanging outside is his FAVORITE! Gunner also has really funny zoomies. And as you can see...he has a GREAT smile. Please note: Gunner is NOT a dog that can do walks. He amps at any dog outside his leash barrier and corrections only cause more negative stimulation and for him to redirect on his handler. Gunner needs 6 foot privacy fence.

Story
Peach is a sweet and goofy girl, but she does take a while to fully warm up to new people. At only 2 years old, it is apparent that she had never learned to properly interact with humans or other animals. Peach is incredibly dog social, but she sometimes has difficulty reading other dog's play cues. She also has possession aggression with other dogs and due to guarding tendencies, we feel she would do best in a quiet home as an only dog. She has passed a preliminary cat test. She walks well on a leash but does not like to meet other dogs while leashed due to barrier issues. She is kennel trained, however, she has weather phobia and will try to escape her crate to be near her people. Peach is in need of a 6 foot privacy fence as she is capable of climbing a 6ft chain link fence. Given her trust issues and collar sensitivities, we feel she would be best in a home with older or no children. Peach is wanting to find that perfect family who is willing to take a chance on a young broken soul and give her the time and space she needs to build up trust. Once she trusts you, she will reward you with loyal companionship, a strong bond, the absolute best snuggles in the world.

Story
Esme loves to go on walks and if you ask her to dance/walk she will stand up on her hind legs and hop and twirl around! She is the cutest dancer ever! When Esme comes out of her pen to go on walks she immediately jumps up softly to give hugs to thank her walking buddies. She doesn't pull or fight going on walks and loves to look around and watch squirrels and birds in the trees. Pretty Esme came to us a couple of years ago when her owner unfortunately could not keep her. She is so full of love. Sometimes she can get a little spooked with men and needs a little bit to warm up to them. She would do best in a home with older children. We don't know what her life was like prior to coming into our care, but she needs to be an only dog and isn't a fan of cats. She is working on basic commands and already has sit down. She loves treats and is very smart so it won't take long working with her to learn more tricks. This girl is just looking for the special family who will give her time and patience to let her get comfortable and settle in. She deserves a couch to lay on and to get snuggles everyday! Could you be that perfect home for her?
