Story
Keisha is about 6 months old, and we have no idea what her breed is. She weighs 5 lbs. Her parents and sister look like a Chihuahua/Terrier mix, but Keisha appears to be a sister from another Mister. We named her Keisha (means favored daughter) because she looks like a Keeshond, but that is unlikely. She is extremely affectionate and loves to play with other dogs. She doesn’t mind being crated, but we still have a way to go with her potty training. She is great with children and is very adventurous. She is in a chewing stage but does okay if she has toys. If scolded, she immediately stops the unwanted behavior.

Story
Larry is an 11 pound Shih Tzu that will be 2 years old on May 26th. He and his littermate, Cooper, were relinquished by their owner that was moving and chose not to take these boys with them. Their coats were overgrown and very matted when they came to us so they had to he detangled and cut short. They are undeniably darling now, and will be off the charts adorable when their coats grows out. Larry (and his foster mom) would like to thank Lori Wangsgard at Cut-N-Strut for grooming him. The boys had not been vaccinated when we took them in but they have since been fully vetted, neutered and we were thrilled to learn that both are heartworm negative. Larry gets along great with other dogs his size, and is an overall sweet and loving little guy. He is crate trained and he has not had any accidents in the house. He is a little skittish when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He likes to perch on a rock in the backyard and watch for squirrels and passersby. He likes to play with his foster brother & sister and he likes to cuddle with his foster mom. He does not walk well on a leash so he is working on that, and he also is working on boundaries as he tends to get underfoot so is a bit of a tripping hazard. He needs an owner that will continue working with him. He tries very hard to be a good boy, and he will make one lucky family very happy.

Story
Trixie is about a 1yr old. She is a Corgi mix. She is a loving, loyal and attentive dog who will stay by your side and be a lifelong friend. She loves to play and would do best with an active family or another dog to play with. She can be a bit bossy and likes to be top dog, but knows when to step back and take her place under the alpha. She gets along well with other dogs, is crate trained and very solid on her potty training as she has never had an accident in her foster home. She is trained with a doggie door.

Betty White is a 2 year old pure white Maltese mix who is a firecracker and snuggle bug all in one little 10- pound body! She is learning her crate is her bed, only has had a few accidents in the house, gets along with other dogs, and walks well on a harness and leash.Betty needs a home where there is another dog that is very active and playful, a secure fence (she is a bolter!), and the family must have patience with her. She shows definite signs of abuse and takes a couple of weeks to feel comfortable. No young children as sudden movements frighten her. Betty plays hard then wants nothing more than to snuggle with her people.

Lucy is a year and a half Terrrier/ Chihuahua mix. She is very playful with other dogs and her foster parents. She is also very affectionate and cuddly. Lucy loves going on walks of any length, playing with the other dogs, running and playing outside. She was not house trained when she came to her foster home, but now has no accidents inside. 7 lbs.
