Story
Karmi is a great dog with lots of puppy in her. She lives with 1 adult, 2cats, and 1 other dog. Im no longer able to care for her as I should be able to. Im on disability and struggle feeding us. She needs medical care which I can't provide. She had her foot cut at 3 months. I was going to the vet to have it rewrapped every 3 days. So she is on a chill protocol to get her nails cut. Shes also on Prozac. Its mainly for her jealousy of mt other dog. Shes just dominate around her. She pushes her a way. Shes also a little of a barker. Mostly because of my other dog. Im moving into an apartment in the fall and she won't be happy. She needs to see a vet for her nails. She also needs to see the vet for flea sores and excessive itching. Her underside is missing hair. Shes a great dog. Its very sad for me. I believe she's so close to me that she's woken me up at night when my sugar dropped. Thats the kind of dog she is

Story
Meet Blue! 🐾💙Blue is a loyal, intelligent, and active dog looking for an experienced home. Originally adopted to comfort a teenager with anxiety, he has proven himself to be a loving and devoted companion.Blue loves the outdoors and lives for a game of fetch with his favorite ball. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, loyal, and happiest spending time with his people.Blue has strong protective instincts and can be anxious around strangers and new situations. He is "all bark and no bite" and would do best with a patient, dog-savvy owner in a quiet, low-traffic home with no other pets. He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and has great potential to build confidence through consistent positive-reinforcement training.✅ House-trained✅ Neutered✅ Vaccinated✅ Microchipped✅ No medical issuesDue to his owner's recent major heart surgery, Blue needs a new home. Located in Northern Michigan. Could you give this deserving boy his next chapter? 🐕❤️

Story
Karmi is a playful 3 year old. She likes cats. But not squirrels. She only barks when my other dog barks. If she barks in the house. I use a spray bottle. Shes a good dog. Shes on Prozac for aggression with toys. She needs medical care right away due to bare hind legs and flea sores. She had a cut on her foot. She needs a chill protocol to get her nails trimmed. Which is something she needs now. She's very attached to me and a cuddles. She sleeps on chairs, couch and bed. She is very away of needs. She woke me up when my sugar was low. She needs training to walk. Shes a big baby but won't let you touch her . She growls. All meds are put in food. No food aggression. Just with toys. Shes a great dog!

Story
Walker has now been in rescue for months without a single application. We don’t fully understand why, because he is a loving, intelligent, playful boy who has worked hard to overcome a difficult start to life. He came to us as a scared shut down puppy who had already experienced more than he should have, and with time, patience, and love, he has grown into the sweet boy we know today. Earlier this year, Walker completed a board and train program through Riverside Canine. His first home wasn’t the right fit, and he was returned to us. Since then, the incredible team at Riverside Canine has stepped in to foster him, and he has been making steady progress in their care. He is smart, affectionate, and would thrive in an active home. He will need a home with no cats, but with slow and careful introductions, he may do well with another dog. Walker’s adoption has been generously sponsored, and his future family will also receive three private lessons through Riverside Canine to help support his transition. He is ready for his forever home and deserves a family who sees just how special he is.

Story
Rocky is a sweet, goofy gentle giant estimated to be around 3–5 years old. He loves walks, cuddling with his people, and soaking up all the attention he can get. Rocky knows some basic commands like sit and is continuing to work on his manners, including leash pulling and excitement jumping, but he is eager to please and full of love. Rocky previously lived with a cat and did well. He may do best as the only dog in the home while he settles in, though slow and proper introductions with certain dogs may be successful over time. Because of his size and energy at times, he would likely do best with older children. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Through everything, Rocky has remained such a happy, affectionate boy who deserves a loving home willing to give him a chance.
