Story
Maddie is a little over a year old. She is a beautiful hound mix that loves to cuddle. She will get up right in your lap (or lay next to you) and keep you company while you are watching tv or laying down to sleep. She still has her puppy energy so she can be very playful. She loves to chew so make sure to have lots of toys handy! She is crated trained but crate would not be included in re-homing. She also does very well on a leash. We would love to see her in a home where she can run and play but that is not too overwhelming for her. She has a sweet soul but we just don’t have the right environment for her and want to find her somewhere she can be happy.

Blaze will set your heart on fire! He is so sweet and playful. This enthusiastic pup always has the BIGGEST smile on his face and he can't wait to plant a big kiss on everyone he meets. His favorite activities are: going for walks, playing fetch or tug-or-war with a rope toy, and giving lots of big wet kisses. Blaze is always excited to meet new friends and go on adventures. He rides really well in a car and likes to put his head out the window to feel his lips smacking from the wind. This silly boy will bring so much love and fun into your world. Eli is one of our Park Pals volunteers and has this to say about his walking buddy, Blaze:"Blaze is a delightful and intelligent dog, blending playful curiosity with a love for nature. While his curiosity adds an extra dash of charm to his fun-loving personality, you'll discover a loyal and entertaining companion who will undoubtedly brighten your days. Blaze is a fast learner and promises to be a loyal and entertaining addition to your life." Blaze can't wait to get out of the shelter and into a loving home! To help make that happen, his adoption fee has been waived!Blaze wants to be in a home where he can get plenty of exercise but his favorite activity is loving on people. Blaze wants all the attention on him but he might be willing to share the spotlight with another dog friend pending a meeting. He would do best in a home with no kitties.

Story
Meet sweet Clementine! This gorgeous girl is a brindle bundle of love! She is a goofy, derpy, laid-back, girl that love cuddles! Clem loves love! The only thing that comes close to her love of cuddles is her love of fetch! She has a hilarious habit of playing keep-away! And this girl is SMART! She is very toy motivated and food motivated so training her should be fairly easy! She is a great girl deserving of the best forever home! Until her new family comes for her, we will enjoy all of the Clemen-time we have with her! Clementine would be happiest as the only pet in her home. Sam is one of Clem's daily caretakers and she has quite a bit to say about this special girl:"Clementine is a sweet, sensitive girl. She is a medium-sized dog and a skinny little thing. Clementine is one of our long-term residents, she has been here longer than I have been an employee. She would do best in a home without other animals (she likes attention, she wants to be an only child)! Clementine was not dealt with a fair hand before coming to the shelter. She was found tied to a pole with a bag of dog food next to her. Due to these past circumstances, Clem tends to be fearful around men and may need some time to warm up to new people. Clem needs someone patient, understanding, and passionate about her. She deserves someone willing to take an extra step and be there for her, understanding that sometimes she has trouble out of fear and confusion. It can be hard for her to trust new people again due to her history. I know Clem will have an immense amount of appreciation for whoever her person is. Clementine's adopter will be getting a loyal companion and she will be your best friend for years to come. Adopting Clementine would be giving her a second chance at life. She truly deserves to experience a life full of love, cuddles, adventures, new experiences, and a family who is proud to call her theirs. I hope she finds her person and you find her. She deserves everything good in this world." Clementine can't wait to get out of the shelter and into a loving home! To help make that happen, her adoption fee has been waived!

Story
Meet Sadie! She is around 1-year-old and is such a good girl! She is affectionate and wicked smart! She is also very food motivated so training should be a breeze! Sadie can be slow to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is completely bonded and you have a new BFF! Sadie is generally a pretty quiet dog, but when she does bark, you can't help but laugh! Behind her big, brown, shy eyes lies a world of untapped affection waiting to blossom! Here is what Kaylee, one of Sadie's daily caretakers, has to say about her:"Sadie is one of my favorite here at the shelter. She's very affectionate and playful. She loves to hop like a bunny when she excited or sit and people watch with me. She is an amazing snuggler and just a happy girl. She is a little shy at first and might take a minute to warm up to you but once she does she'll never stop giving love."Recently, Sadie went to a temporary foster home and she's been doing great!! Her foster, Kelly, has this to share:"Sadie is such a playful, cuddly girl! She has truly brightened up our home while she's been here. She will have short bursts of energy (it's so cute how she runs with her front legs fully extended, almost like she's hopping!) then will calm down for a while. We have found that she loves to burrow in blankets, which is super cute! Sadie is for the most part potty trained (she's had a few accidents in the house, but we've chalked those up to excitement over being in a new place). She is good at playing with tug-of-rope, squeaky toys, and bones! She will make such an amazing companion. We will miss her so very much when she gets adopted, but will be so happy to know she has the forever home she deserves!" Sadie could live with older, calm children and possibly another dog. She is looking for a home with no felines. Sadie can't wait to get out of the shelter and into a loving home! To help make that happen, her adoption fee has been waived!
