Story
Leena is 3 years old. She is a gentle, playful, obedient girl who gets along with our other dog (Lemmy, a 3-year old, 16-lb male Pomchi, also up for adoption). Leena is half Alaskan Malimute, half Husky, weighing 75 pounds. Her official breed is Alusky. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. Like most all Huskys, she is very communicative. Leena also gets along with both of our cats, Larry and Lu-lu (also up for adoption). My husband and I will be moving to a senior community where pets are not allowed, and we must adopt out all of our pets. We want to see them all go to good homes. We will not charge any adoption fees.

Story
We are rehoming Leo due to two ongoing issues. He has begun nipping around our children, and we cannot safely trust him with a toddler and baby. He is also experiencing conflict with our other dog, which has led to both dogs marking inside the home. We adopted Leo at 1 year old after he was rehomed due to a baby and another dog in his previous home. He was fully potty trained and reliable for years. Leo and our other dog were once very close. After another dog was introduced into the home, their relationship changed, leading to toy guarding, tension, and marking. In our experience, Leo would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home with a consistent walking routine. Leo is quirky, loyal, and affectionate. His personality grows on you, and he enjoys outings and the dog park. He would thrive in a home where he can receive focused attention. We are committed to finding the right long-term home and will share all known history to ensure a good match

Story
Meet Nani! Nani is a special girl with such a sad upbringing. Nani came into the shelter with her sister Nani started their first 5 months of life living in a camper, that was extremely unsanitary. They also received very limited human interaction. While Nani have come leaps & bounds, there are a lot of things that still make them nervous and uncomfortable. *While Lilo & Nani enjoy each others company they are not bonded, and can be adopted separately* 🐾Nani has spent the last 12 weeks in Pawsitive Futures a training program! Nani have learned tons of commands and skills, they are such a well rounded and playful pups! Nani is a pitbull mix that is around 9 months old and weight about 40 pounds, so we don’t think she will get too much bigger. Nani can be quite scared/nervous of new people, and do take a significant amount of time to warm up to someone new. Nani is not aggressive by any means but if she is uncomfortable will just try and avoid. Nani is housebroken and would do best in a home with older kids-young children make them far too uncomfortable. Nani doesn’t mind cats and is good with other dogs. Another confident dog is actually ideal as Nani loves other dogs! We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along. Nani is up to date on her vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested, microchipped & spayed! ✔️Nani has completed the program and is able to be adopted at anytime!
