Story
Sadly looking to rehome my amazing 4-year-old pit bull due to an upcoming move to an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs. He’s such a wonderful companion who deserves a family that will love him as much as I do. He is great with other dogs and kids, and absolutely adores human interaction. He is fully potty trained and kennel trained, making him a breeze to care for. One of his favorite things is hopping into the truck for a ride and then snuggling up on the couch for some cuddles. If you are looking for a loyal, loving, and friendly furry friend, this guy is the perfect match. Please reach out if you are interested! My phone number is (573) 218-4414

Story
Spot is 2 years old his birthday is March 15th. I rescued Spot he was ate up with mange he was on side of the road in gravel and was around 5 weeks old. He was so weak could not stand up or walk. I took him home fed and watered him and got him cleaned up the best I could until the Vet could see him the next day. They didn't think he would live but Thank God he did and he weighs 100 lbs. I love him so so much. I never intended to keep him I was going to get him well and rehome him as soon as possible. I am having to relocate soon and I am looking for a loving home. I believe he would be happy at a place he could get out and run and be free to a point. I live in town and my fenced yard isn't that big and he likes to bark and protect his domain so if he gets to excited I have to bring him so he don't bother the neighbors with his barking. He's a big baby and is very loving and does great with my sons female dog.

Story
Bastion is 8 years old, he has been with us for 6 years. He has always been a very protective dog. He becomes very attached to one person and is wary of any one else who gets close to them. As he has gotten older he has become more grumpy. He tolerates less and will nip and sometimes bite if he has had enough. While this doesn't happen often he has become more aggressive as he ages and has bitten more than once. He needs to go to a home that doesn't have kids. He has become too intolerable of kids bothering him. He needs space to run and loves nothing more than being outside or going for car rides. He does bark at anyone that passes by our house. While he is house trained, the older he gets the more accidents he's having in the house. He knows to go potty outside but sometimes just won't. He isn't going to be super friendly at first but once he warms up to you he will want to be everywhere you are. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Story
Chowder...where do we even start with this baby? She endured more in her first four to six months of life than any dog should ever endure in their lifetime. She was found in an abandoned house that had been set on fire. There was another female dog with her that was thought to be her mom, but sadly she had been shot and was deceased. Once Chowder was seen by our vet, it was determined that she had fractures in her back, pelvis and hind legs. And as if ALL of that wasn't horrific enough, Chowder was also suffering from mange and horrible hookworms, which she has been treated for. Despite all that, she is friendly, curious, loves to play tug, and uses her puppy energy to nip at fingers. Her favorite thing to do is explore her space and try to sniff out every inch of it. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, and is starting to really warm up to people. Chowder deserves a million good homes after all she's been through, but all she needs is one, with her forever family. To adopt Chowder, please fill out an application at macsmission.org/adopt

Story
This distinguished gentleman is Twix! He is a 5 year old lab mix that was seized from a terrible hoarding case, along with five of his brothers and sisters. After nearly 5 years, just he and his sister Taffy remain, still waiting to get adopted. But Twix isn't letting that hold him back! He has made leaps and bounds over the 5 YEARS he has been with us. He would love a home to call his own! Twix has been great with the dogs that we have introduced him to! He is still a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly once he knows he can trust you! He loves to go for walks or play ball in the yard. He would really love a fenced in yard to run and play! If you are interested in adopting Twix or learning more about him, please fill out our adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MACS/Dog Once we get your application, we will reach out by phone to answer any questions and share more information!

Story
Toblerone, or Toby as he is affectionately called, is a quirky little long haired dachshund mix who is about 2 years old. He is a fun dog with a lot of energy! He loves toys and loves to raid the toy bin. Sometimes he will end up with 25 toys stockpiled in his space. He loves to play fetch and is very treat motivated. We are still feeling out how he interacts with other dogs. We are thinking he may do best as an only dog in the home. Toby needs proper introductions with people. He is very quirky when it comes to meeting new people. Because of this, he would do best in an adult only home or a home with older children that would be able to respect his space and boundaries. If you are interested in adopting Toblerone or learning more about him, please fill out our adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MACS/Dog Once we get your application, we will reach out by phone to answer any questions and share more information!
