Story
Maxwell will be 4 in September. He is a mixed breed with american staffesire being 60 percent, mastiff and a few other European decent breeds. We did a dna test but cannot retrieve it at this point. We got Max from a rescue in upstate NY when he was 4 months old. He lives with a female american staffesire (13 years old) and a pure bred male American staffesire (9 years old). They all got along until 8 months ago when we were in the process of moving to a different state. Max has always been a nervous dog but think the move made it only worse for him. He and the older male dog had gotten into a minor fight but max is still on edge when he is around. We are currently taking both to a trainer and have even gotten max some medicine to possibly help with his anxiety. He has been put into a situation that was not his fault and unfortunately the home where he is living in is in a busy town and he is use to the country. I just want him to find a home and a person he can call his own.

Story
Paisley is proof that brains and beauty can absolutely exist in the same package At just 6 months old, Paisley is already the kind of dog people spend years looking for. Seriously. She's smart. She's friendly. She's eager to learn. And she's absolutely adorable. Paisley was found as a stray and never claimed, but she hasn't let that stop her from thriving in foster care. In fact, she's become quite the little overachiever. Housebroken Dog friendly Loves meeting new people Extremely food motivated Ready to learn anything you want to teach her Her foster family can't say enough good things about her. The second you pull out a treat, Paisley is all business. Eyes locked in. Ears perked up. Ready to learn. This girl LOVES having a job and would be an absolute rockstar in training classes, hiking adventures, enrichment activities, or simply learning all the fun things that come with being a beloved family dog. Recently, Paisley attended an adoption event and stole hearts everywhere she went. She loved meeting people, soaking up attention, and showing off what a wonderful dog she is. Because that's the thing about Paisley...she's not just smart. She's also incredibly sweet. She wants to be involved. She wants to make you proud. She wants to be someone's best friend. At only 6 months old, the possibilities for this girl are endless. All she needs now is a family willing to help her write the rest of her story. Apply to adopt Paisley: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Please share — because we have a feeling Paisley's forever family is out there, and they're going to be very lucky when they find her ##2732607##

Story
Poor Edison has been waiting at animal control for far too long. At around 6 years old and petite in size, this sweet boy has watched other dogs come and go while he’s still left behind. Edison is everything you’d want in a companion: Gentle, well-mannered, and absolutely loves people. He's a true gentleman Open to meeting furry siblings Handsome, petite, and ready to finally trade kennel walls for cozy halls. But here’s the truth: he can’t keep waiting. Animal control is no place for a dog to spend his days, and Edison has already spent too many. He's their longest resident. Every single day in a kennel chips away at his spirit. What he needs now is a foster—or, even better, a forever family—who can show him what love and home really feel like. Foster Edison: Be his hero. Give him the soft place to land he so desperately needs. Supplies + vetting are covered. www.roversdoover.com/foster Adopt Edison: End his wait. Make this gentleman part of your family forever. www.roversdoover.com/adopt Edison has waited long enough. Please—open your heart, open your home, and help us get him out of the kennel before more time slips away. ##2379832##

Story
Elphaba keeps getting left behind… and we truly don’t understand why Poor Elphie just cannot seem to catch a break. She is the LAST of her siblings still waiting for her forever home. And heartbreakingly… she has now been adopted and returned not once, but twice. Elphaba survived unimaginable cruelty back in November when she was rescued as part of a cruelty case. While her physical wounds healed… The emotional scars are harder to see. Elphaba is nervous of strangers at first. New environments and big changes can be overwhelming for her. But beneath that cautious exterior is one of the sweetest, most loving little dogs you could ever meet. And honestly? She tries SO hard. Elphaba spent months in a loving foster home where she learned what safety and comfort felt like for the first time. Then she was adopted. But when the transition into her new home wasn’t immediately perfect just a few short days later, she was returned to us. As you can imagine… That was incredibly confusing and heartbreaking for her. Then came a second adopter. They understood she would need time. They were prepared to be patient. And Elphaba WAS adjusting. She WAS bonding. But only 10 days later… she was returned again. Not because she was doing poorly. Not because she wasn’t trying. But simply because they had a change of heart. Since November, Elphaba has been bounced around more times than any dog should ever have to endure. And the truth is? All she really needs is stability. Someone who won’t give up on her while she learns to trust that she’s finally home. About Elphaba: 10 months old About 30 pounds Enjoys the company of other dogs Highly food motivated Bonds deeply with her people Total velcro dog once she trusts you Elphaba does not need perfection. She needs patience. Consistency. Love. And someone willing to let her move at her own pace. Because once you’re “her person”? She will love you with her entire heart. Apply to adopt Elphaba: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Please share this post. Because somewhere out there is the person who will finally show Elphaba what forever is supposed to feel like. ##2592961##
