Story
Maxwell will be 4 in September. He is a mixed breed with american staffesire being 60 percent, mastiff and a few other European decent breeds. We did a dna test but cannot retrieve it at this point. We got Max from a rescue in upstate NY when he was 4 months old. He lives with a female american staffesire (13 years old) and a pure bred male American staffesire (9 years old). They all got along until 8 months ago when we were in the process of moving to a different state. Max has always been a nervous dog but think the move made it only worse for him. He and the older male dog had gotten into a minor fight but max is still on edge when he is around. We are currently taking both to a trainer and have even gotten max some medicine to possibly help with his anxiety. He has been put into a situation that was not his fault and unfortunately the home where he is living in is in a busy town and he is use to the country. I just want him to find a home and a person he can call his own.

Story
Chester is breaking our hearts a little bit. He’s only about 1 year old, and our best guess is Doberman/Shepherd with maybe a little Hound mixed in for good measure. But whatever his DNA says, we can tell you what matters most: This is an incredibly sweet dog. Chester is currently at Animal Control, and when you first meet him, he can be a little shy. He hangs back for a minute, trying to figure out whether he can trust you. Then you kneel down. You call him over. And Chester comes right to you and melts into your lap. All that uncertainty disappears, and suddenly this big young dog is leaning his entire body into you like he's known you forever. That's Chester. He's dog friendly. He's kid friendly. He's young, sweet, gentle, and has so much life ahead of him. We keep visiting him and thinking about how different he would look curled up on someone's couch instead of sitting behind a kennel door. We want to bring him into Rover's Do Over. We just have one problem: We have nowhere to put him. Because we're completely foster based, we can't pull Chester from Animal Control until someone opens their home to him. You don't have to know whether you're ready to adopt. You can simply foster him and give us the opportunity to get him out, learn more about him, and find his forever family. RDO provides the food, supplies, veterinary care and support. You provide Chester with somewhere to land. Or maybe you're looking at that sweet face and already thinking you wouldn't want to give him back. Foster-to-adopt or adoption is absolutely an option too. Chester is only a year old. Animal Control shouldn't be where he grows up. We have the leash. We have the car. We have a rescue ready to say yes to him. We just need an address to bring him to. Foster Chester: www.roversdoover.com/foster Adopt Chester: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Please share. Somewhere out there is a lap with Chester's name written all over it. ##2836371##

Story
Long-Term Foster Needed for Lolita Some dogs need a second chance. Others need someone willing to help them believe in one. Meet Lolita. This sweet girl is estimated to be 4–6 years old and is a beautiful Bulldog mix who is looking for a long-term foster—or foster-to-adopt family—to help her write the next chapter of her story. From the moment you meet Lolita, it's impossible not to root for her. She's incredibly sweet, but it's easy to see that life has left her a little unsure of the world. She's timid. She's gentle. She's still learning that she's safe. And she's looking for someone willing to show her that the best days of her life are still ahead. About Lolita: Female Bulldog mix Approximately 4–6 years old Previously lived with multiple other dogs Sweet and gentle Timid, but eager to learn Looking for a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home Lolita doesn't need someone who's expecting a perfect dog on day one. She needs someone who understands that healing takes time. Someone who celebrates the little victories. The first tail wag. The first time she asks for a cuddle. The first time she realizes she doesn't have to be afraid anymore. Those moments are what rescue is all about. We're looking for a family that can help us nurse Lolita back to health (mentally and physically), continue building her confidence, and show her what it means to be loved unconditionally. The most rewarding part? You'll get to watch her transformation happen right before your eyes. There's nothing quite like watching a shy dog realize they're finally home. Rover's Do Over provides veterinary care, food, supplies, and support every step of the way. You provide the patience, love, and safe place where Lolita can finally begin to heal. Together, we can give her the fresh start she deserves. **Apply to foster:** www.roversdoover.com/foster **Interested in fostering with the intention to adopt? We'd love to hear from you, too!** ##2786921##

Story
Warning: Sasha may cause excessive laughter, spontaneous zoomies, and an irresistible urge to play. If you're looking for a calm, couch potato... Keep scrolling. But if you've been searching for a dog who will fill your home with laughter, toys scattered across the living room, and endless entertainment... Meet Sasha. At just 8–12 months old, Sasha is exactly what you'd expect from a puppy who's discovering just how much fun life can be. She's goofy. She's playful. She's full of personality. And she's convinced that every single day is meant for having the BEST. TIME. EVER. Meet Sasha: 8–12 months old Housebroken Crate trained LOVES other dogs Lives with cats (she mostly just wants them to play!) Toy enthusiast Fun-loving, active, and full of personality Sasha came to Rover's Do Over after she was found as a stray in Utica. Since then, she's been living in a wonderful foster home where she's been learning all about life as a beloved family dog. She's already mastered the important stuff—she's housebroken and crate trained—and now she's ready for the next step... Finding a family to call her own. One thing you should know about Sasha... She doesn't just play... She PLAYS. She'll toss her toys into the air all by herself. She'll do dramatic flops onto the ground for absolutely no reason. She'll invent games if no one else is playing. And if another dog wants to wrestle? Well... You've just made her entire day. Because Sasha is such an enthusiastic player, she'd absolutely love a canine sibling who's just as playful and energetic as she is. She thrives with dogs who enjoy running, wrestling, and chasing each other around the yard. Life with Sasha is never boring. She's the kind of dog who keeps you smiling because you never know what goofy thing she'll do next. Whether she's zooming around the yard, proudly carrying her favorite toy through the house, or throwing herself dramatically onto the floor in the middle of playtime, she's guaranteed to make every day a little brighter. If you're looking for a dog who's ready to live life to the fullest... One who's always up for an adventure... And one who will make your home a whole lot happier... Sasha is waiting to meet you.
