Story
Venom is a very good dog, very sweet, very protective. I don't want to have to give him up. My landlord is not giving me a choice. I ended up taking him from somebody that was abusing him physically probably mentally too. And he had to be rebehold immediately. So I had no choice but to take him in cause, I couldn't see him go through that anymore, come to find out my landlord tells me that I can't have this type of breed when I was told in the beginning that I could not have a pit bull but she did not tell me that there was other breeds on the list that I cannot have so in the meantime, I didn't even try to ask her before I got him in because he had to be taken immediately and I didn't think it was going to be a problem... and he's not a pitbull. He is very protective. He was around one other dog that was the same breed, and they get along good. He gets along with my cats but he thinks the cats would lplay. He likes to play with a, ball or a stick whatever you throw. He likes to chew .

Story
Meet Abigail - affectionately known as Abby! Abby is believed to be a Heeler Pit mix and weighs just under 50 lbs., making her a wonderful medium-sized companion. Abby can be shy around new people at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her true personality shines. She is affectionate, playful, and loves calm pets, cuddles, a game of fetch, and quality time with her people. She walks comfortably on a leash and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run, explore, and burn off some energy. Abby will do best in a home where she gets regular walks and enrichment like puzzle toys! At this time, Abby needs to be the only pet in the home, though she will be retested with other dogs in the coming weeks as she continues to settle in.Current weight: 47 lb. Story
Purchased him 13 years ago in upstate NY. He was the runt of the litter. Currently partially blind in both eyes. Both my husband and I have health issues. Can no.longer take care of him like we should.. If we can find him a good home we will supply 100 dollars cash for any of his needs. Otherwise we may have to put him to sleep which is a last resort for us. He still is pretty frisky and loves female owners.

Story
Meet Zeus 🐾 Zeus is a large, almost two-year-old pit bull mix with the biggest heart and an incredible love for his people. He is sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he is right by your side. Zeus doesn’t just enjoy human company — he truly needs it, and forms deep, meaningful bonds with those he trusts. He has a medium energy level and enjoys a balance of playtime and quiet time. At this time, Zeus needs to be the only dog in the home. He may be able to live with a dog-savvy cat with proper introductions and guidance. Zeus has severe separation anxiety and must have an adopter who is home most of the time. He would thrive in a home with someone who works from home, is retired, or otherwise has a lifestyle that allows them to be consistently present. Being with his person is what helps Zeus feel safe, calm, and secure. Ongoing support from a veterinarian and a professional trainer will be important as he continues to build confidence and work through his challenges. Zeus’s needs are significant, but so is his capacity for love. For the right person who can truly be there for him, Zeus will be an unbelievably loyal, devoted companion who gives his whole heart.Current weight: 99 lb Adoption Fee: $250 To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet HoneyHoney is a 3-year-old Pit mix with a heart as sweet as her name. She has been with us for over three months, patiently waiting for her perfect match—through no fault of her own. Honey is a gentle, loving girl who longs for a home where she can curl up beside you on a warm couch, soak up affection, and sneak in a few kisses. Honey does need to be the only pet in the home, but she has plenty of love to go around! She’d thrive in a home with plenty of comfy places to rest, a yard to stretch her legs, and humans who enjoy cozy snuggles. Recently, Honey was diagnosed with protein-losing nephropathy, a condition caused by kidney damage that is suspected to be linked to her Lyme disease. She is beginning treatment, and we are actively seeking a special adopter willing to foster her for the first 8 weeks while she undergoes care. During this time, we’ll be closely monitoring her response to treatment, which will help determine her long-term prognosis and future treatment. The shelter is no place for a dog who needs rest and healing. Honey deserves a peaceful home where she can decompress, sleep soundly, and focus on getting better—surrounded by love and comfort. One thing is certain: Honey is in need of love and kindness, and with the right home, she’s ready to give it back tenfold.Current weight: 54 lb.Adoption Fee: $250To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt
