Story
Meet Wally! 🐾 Wally is a 4.5-year-old hound mix with a HUGE heart. He came to us needing a little extra TLC and handled everything with incredible gentleness and patience—showing us right away what a sweet, resilient boy he is.This playful guy knows how to have fun! Wally loves a good game of soccer, shows off some surprisingly cute yoga moves, and seems to think snow days are the best days. He’s great in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is always ready to join you for your next adventure.Wally has done well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. His play style can be a bit physical, so he’d do best with a dog of similar size and energy who enjoys the same kind of play. He cannot live with cats. With his loving temperament and joyful spirit, Wally is ready to live his very best life. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy snuggle time, he’s all in—and can’t wait to find a home to call his own. 💙Current Weight: 72lbsAdoption Fee $250To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet Freya!Freya is an almost 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is ready for a fresh start filled with adventure, play, and plenty of love (and toys)!Freya is a social girl who loves other dogs, but she can be a little too enthusiastic. She gets so excited that she may miss the social cues her canine friends are giving her. She could do well with another dog who matches her energy level or a confident dog who is comfortable setting clear boundaries. When paired with the right playmate, Freya is ready to run, wrestle, and have a blast together. One of Freya’s favorite things in the world is toys! She knows exactly where the toy bin is and will happily search through it to pick out her favorites. Whether she’s chasing a ball, playing tug with a rope toy, or entertaining herself, toys are definitely the way to her heart.Freya is looking for a family who will keep her mind and body engaged through walks, playtime, enrichment, and continued training. With her playful personality and eagerness to be involved, Freya will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to include her in all of life’s adventures.Freya does still require formal cat testing.Current Weight: 63 lbsAdoption Fee: $250To apply: fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet Fern!Fern is a 13-week-old puppy who is believed to be a Spaniel/Dachshund/Terrier mix. Along with her sister, Clover, she came into our care after a difficult start in life. Despite her rough beginnings, Fern has embraced puppyhood with enthusiasm and is quickly learning what it means to feel safe and loved.Fern and Clover could easily be mistaken for twins, and they share the same adventurous puppy spirit. Both girls are full of energy and curiosity, always eager to see what each new day brings. Fern is especially enthusiastic about exploring her surroundings and investigating anything within reach. Like many puppies her age, she is in her "busy puppy" stage—climbing, chewing, and discovering the world one step at a time. When she's all tired out, though, Fern loves to snuggle up for cuddles and soak up all the affection she can get.Fern will thrive in a home that is ready for all the joy and excitement that comes with raising a young puppy and can continue her training, socialization, and learning. A playful canine companion would be an excellent match to keep her socialized and burn off her endless puppy energy.Current Weight: 6.5 lbsAdoption Fee: $325
