Story
Marla is a 6 year old Jack Russel/ chihuahua mix. She has been with me since I adopted her in 2020, since then I had a baby and we learned that Marla does not like children/ any one that moves fast around her. She is food aggressive, but is fine as long as you leave her alone while she’s eating. Marla has been well maintained with regular vet visits, teeth cleanings and groomings twice a year. She loves to be outside and run around in a fenced in yard, but also loves to lay around on the couch. She is a gentle girl that loves attention, belly rubs and treats. Marla would do best in a home without small children and would get along with a relaxed dog.

Story
Meet Wally! 🐾 Wally is a 4-year-old hound mix with a HUGE heart. He came to us needing a little extra TLC and handled everything with incredible gentleness and patience—showing us right away what a sweet, resilient boy he is.This playful guy knows how to have fun! Wally loves a good game of soccer, shows off some surprisingly cute yoga moves, and seems to think snow days are the best days. He’s great in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is always ready to join you for your next adventure.Wally has done well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. His play style can be a bit physical, so he’d do best with a dog of similar size and energy who enjoys the same kind of play. He cannot live with cats. With his loving temperament and joyful spirit, Wally is ready to live his very best life. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy snuggle time, he’s all in—and can’t wait to find a home to call his own. 💙Current Weight: 72lbsAdoption Fee $250To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet Abigail!Abby is believed to be a Heeler/Pit mix and weighs just under 50 lbs.Abby can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate and playful personality really shines through. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves attention—especially good back scratches and one-on-one interaction. Around the shelter, Abby is very playful and loves chasing toys, playing tug, and fetch—she’ll even toss a toy for herself. She also has a fun, outdoorsy side and is always ready to hop in the car for little adventures, especially if it involves stomping through water, splashing in puddles, and exploring her surroundings. Abby walks well on leash and would love to be your adventure buddy—especially if it involves new places to explore. She will do best in a home that can provide regular walks, enrichment, and outlets for both her physical and mental energy, such as puzzle toys and interactive play.At this time, Abby needs to be the only pet in the home.Current Weight: 47 lbs Adoption Fee: $250To apply: https://fcrspca.org/adopt/

Story
Meet Stella! 🐾 Stella is an 11-month-old terrier mix with a big personality packed into a small body. She's ready to zoom around the yard, leap into your arms, and fill your days with love, laughter, and adventure. Stella is still learning about the world around her. Busy environments, loud noises, and unfamiliar situations can feel overwhelming at times, but she has been working hard with her fosters and trainer to build confidence and learn that she's safe. Stella would thrive in a quieter, more rural setting where she can enjoy running through the grass, chasing toys, and then curling up in her favorite person's lap for a well-earned nap. With continued positive reinforcement, training, patience, and love, Stella will continue to build confidence and thrive in her forever home. Stella is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She loves being close to her people and soaking up all the attention they have to offer. Good news for cat lovers—Stella can live with cats! She is very interested in interacting and playing with them, so she would do best with a confident, dog-savvy feline companion. This sweet girl is searching for an active family ready to continue her training journey and shower her with affection. In return, Stella promises plenty of love, cuddles, and unforgettable memories.Current Weight: 28 lbsAdoption Fee: $250To Apply: https://fcrspca.org/adopt/

Story
**PENDING TRIAL ADOPTION**Meet Pinto! Pinto is a 5-year-old sweetheart with the most stunning light caramel eyes you’ve ever seen—and a heart to match. This lovable boy is truly a ball of affection who just wants to soak up all the attention he can get. Pinto can get a little overexcited at times (he’s just that happy to see you!) but he responds well to “sit” and settles in nicely with a little guidance. Underneath that enthusiasm is a gentle, social dog who gets along well with both dogs and cats. He has a fun, playful side and would love to run around the yard with a canine friend, but he’s also perfectly content to wind down after an adventure. Pinto is the kind of dog who would happily join you on a hike, hop in the car for a road trip (he travels wonderfully), and then curl up beside you for a cozy evening. If you’re looking for a loving, well-rounded companion who can keep up with your adventures and your downtime, Pinto might just be your perfect match.Current Weight: 60lbsAdoption Fee: $250Apply at: fcrspca.org/adopt
