Story
Brownie is a very sweet boy. He is pretty easy going as long as you do not go in his yard. He will bark at strangers. But once you show him you are not a threat he will lick you to death. He has only been around his sister, our yorkie and cat all his life so he does not really warm up to other animals. He will tolerate kids but would much rather be with adults.

Story
July 25, 2022 we took a trip to TAW where we seen a gorgeous, shy, 13 week old puppy named Pecan (for her color) who came in with her litter siblings from a mill. She had an adoption paper on her kennel, so I asked a worker about her and she informed she Pecan was waiting to be picked up. We were leaving the shelter when we seen the worker changing out the paper on Pecans kennel. I quickly paced over and inquired to find out the adoptee had canceled. I told the worker that this was the puppy I had inquired about. Nex thing you know, Pecan went from pound to our palace and we renamed her Odessa! Today she is a rambunctious, healthy two year old. She gets along great with out two cats and our older pitbull. As well as the neighbors dogs. She is so sweet but she has become more than I can handle, as she still has puppy energy with the strength of a teenager. She is stronger than me and needing a more active home, thus I feel I am no longer giving her the best life. And that's not fair.

Story
Nova is a pit bull. She is almost 3 years old. She was born on May 5, 2018. She weighs 67 pounds. Nova has a sister named Athena. They have lived their whole life together, never spending a single day apart. She was taken into the rescue when she was only 10 months old. Sadly, she has spent most of her life at the rescue. At 5 weeks Nova and Athena were put in with a German Shepard and two Labradors and left to live in horrible living conditions. The only interaction they had with people would be once a day when they got fed. The other dogs have been adopted. But being so young, Nova and Athena developed an unbelievable bond together. They never fight over anything, whether it be a toy or food. They will both curl up together in the same dog house. Because of their bond, we will only allow them to be adopted together. They are both crate trained, up to date on all shots, spayed, and microchipped. The adoption fee for each is $125. They deserve to know what life is beyond the rescue. If you would like them to know a loving home, please fill out an adoption application!

Archie was rescued as a stray and was covered in ticks and had several bite wounds, but they have long since healed. He is extremely smart, obedient, and quick to learn. He is great with kids and he truly wants to please. Archie has found a lifelong companion in Stella. They are fantastic companions to each other and are looking for a home that can accommodate both of them. We will not split them up and can not be homed with other dogs.
