Story
This is Snow she is 4 years old she is a apple head chihuahua. She is fixed. She does have a little stranger anxiety she has never bit anyone hard she has nippled some people mainly men but she has been like that since she was a puppy she still has accidents in the home I have had her since she was almost a year old. I took her out of a terrible situation and shes had some trauma in her puppy life thats shaped who she is today and she has been loved since I have had her. She is healthy but for some reason does not gain any weight so she always looks boney I have tried giving her different dog foods and nothing changes but she got a clean health bill from the vet they told me its the breed she is. She started losing her hair when she turned 2 so she does need to be in clothes to protect her skin from allergies. Im hoping for older couple to be able to adopt or someone that could love her with everything.

Story
Oliver is a sweet boy with not an aggressive bone in his body. I adopted him from a shelter about a month or so ago, I don’t know much about his previous owner but I learned quickly after taking him home he had bad anxiety, unfortunately it has not really gotten better but that’s is not why he needs a new home. I got him hoping he would be a good friend to my first dog but they haven’t really gotten closer as my other dog doesn’t not like him very much. I recently got a new job and I just can not give Oliver the time that he needs. He is a wonderful big baby and will make a great pet, but his forever home is not with us. If you have any questions about him I would love to answer them.

Story
Meet Keeno 2 year old male pit Current on all vaccinations and microchipped Keeno is a strong, stocky pit bull with a short, glossy coat that’s mostly a warm, chocolate brown, accented with crisp white markings on his chest, snout, and the tips of his paws. His eyes are a rich amber, often filled with a mix of curiosity and calm confidence. Keeno carries himself with a laid-back swagger—alert but never aggressive, loyal to the bone, and always tuned in to his surroundings. He's got a wide, expressive face that softens when he’s around people he trusts, especially when his tail starts thumping the ground in excitement. His ears perk up when he hears his name or the rustle of a treat bag. Keeno is the kind of dog who’s all heart—protective of his people, gentle with kids, and always ready for a game of tug or a lazy afternoon nap in a sunny spot. His muscular build might intimidate strangers, but once you meet him, it’s clear—Keeno's just a big softie under that tough exterior. Story
Bambi comes to us as an owner surrender, she had a life of loneliness, her previous owners did not have the time a young working dog needs to stay out of trouble and burn off energy. Since she has been in our care she has came out of her shell, we have noticed that she does not mind cats, gets along with any dog we have put her with and she loves everyone. Yet she still has the energy and curiosity of a puppy

Story
Memphis is a handsome male dog with a striking grey and white coat. His fur is short and smooth, with patches of steely grey blending into crisp white along his chest, legs, and the tip of his tail. His expressive eyes—perhaps a warm brown or piercing blue—give him a soulful, intelligent look. Memphis carries himself with a confident yet easygoing demeanor, the kind of dog who’s equally happy chasing a ball in the yard or lounging at your feet after a long walk. He might have a playful streak, always curious and eager to explore, but he’s also loyal and grounded—one of those dogs that seems to understand more than he lets on. Whether he's trotting proudly beside you or resting his head in your lap, Memphis gives off an air of quiet strength and devoted companionship. If Memphis sounds like a good match for you or your family please call 405-262-6941 or send us a message at spowers@elrenook.gov to schedule a meet and greet
