Story
File #24-189Current Foster Location: Gananoque, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Ayo, whats good? Names Bubbles, and Im a bonafide cuddle machine, alright? From the moment the suns up, Im glued to my human. We got this routine small bowl of wet food for breakfast, then its straight to some couch snuggle time while my human sips their coffee. I like to keep it chill in the morning, you feel me? Around mid-morning or early afternoon, we hit the streets for a solid walk. Gotta stretch these legs, ya know? Now, on our walks, Ive bumped into some reactive dogs. Guess what? I just kept walkin, like, "Whats their problem?" Aint no time for drama in Bubbles world. Even met a couple of big dogs on a hike once, gave em a sniff, and went about my business. Im what they call a velcro dog. Wherever you go, I go. I'm way more comfortable with women and I aint really into quick movements or loud sounds they make me jumpy, especially around men. I think Id be better off in a place with no young kidsteenagers, maybe, but no little ones runnin' around. Aint much of a barker, either, so you dont gotta worry about me making noise. Im still workin on this housetrainin thing. Pee pads work, but outsides where its at. So, if youre lookin for a sweet, loyal sidekick who loves walkin and couch cuddlin, Im your guy. File #24-186Current Foster Location: Seeley's Bay, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, I'm Carson, and let me tell youonce I pick you as my person, you're never getting rid of me (but in the cutest way possible, of course)! I get along great with the two little chihuahuas heretheyre small like me, so we vibe. Ive also met labs, and lets just say, Im not a fan of their size. But if you hold me, Ill tolerate them like a champ (with some side-eye, of course). Here's the scoop on me: - Cratetrained and pee-pad trained. But if you put me outside in the morning, I know what to do!- I don't need a doggy buddy, but if you've got a little one, that'd be cool. - Cats? I respect their spacethey have claws, you know. - Kids? Well, they can pet me, but no picking me up just yet. - Im a bit sensitive to sudden movements, and loud noises make me jump.- I take a little while to warm up to humans, but then I'll totally become your shadow.- I love food a little too much and need a slow feeder so I dont inhale it in five seconds flat. Oh, and I absolutely love car rides! Let's hit the open road together! You can also tuck me in your purse. I'm like an accessory you should never leave home without! File #24-006Current Foster Location: Ottawa Centre, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Suitable for Apartment/Attached Living: Yes | Prey Drive: No Hi there! Im Ulu - a sweet, loyal girl who will always be by your side. I would start my day by waking you up with my paw and a few excited sneezes. After that, I let you make your coffee while I eagerly wait for my breakfast. I need a special diet that my vet has tailored just for me. But don't worry, it's super easy to follow, and my new family will get all the details. Im pretty chill while you work, spending my time napping or playing with my toys. Im a quiet girl, and I rarely bark unless someones knocking at the door or when I see big dogs while on walks. A home with a fenced yard would be a dream come true for me! Lately, Ive started taking my time with meals, leaving some food in my bowl. So, I'd probably be better as the only dog in the home.Im gentle with kids as long as theyre gentle with me. I havent been around cats, so Im not sure how Id feel about them. I'm a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart full of love to share. I adore cuddles, and I'll always be by your side, making sure you feel as loved as I do. Story
File #24-174Current Foster Location: Athens, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Meet Bolt! This refined gentleman loves to love and be loved. He is happiest when he is snuggled up to his person or lounging the day away in his bed. Bolt is pretty low energy but he does enjoy a few strolls throughout the day. He is great in the car, crate trained, and is a very good boy when left home alone for several hours. He with gets along well with other dogs and cats and has even met the family chickens. Bolt has not been exposed to young children when in our care but we think he would be fine with older children who respect his space. This guy is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and had his teeth cleaned before coming to us. He has chronic dry eye that requires eye ointment twice per day. Just a little squeeze of a tube at breakfast time and supper time. Bolt is happy to get his eye medication paired with a little snuggle and kiss. All he wants is to be a good boy for his favourite person - can that be you? Ive been staying with my foster mom for just over two weeks now, and she keeps telling everyone how impressed she is with me. Im fully housetrained and totally trustworthy. No chewing, no accidents, nothing! Ive even earned the trust of the grandkidsthey adore me, and I love them right back! The other night, we were all on the couch, and I couldn't resist licking their bare feet. They laughed so hard! Ive been learning so much! Tonight, the kids were running in and out, and when I was told to 'stay'even though I was so tempted to follow themI listened! Im also a curious observer. I love watching humans go about their daily business, but I promise Im not creepy about it! Oh, and Im curious about cats too, though Ive only admired them from afar. On walks, I do have a lot of energy. I love meeting new dogs, and yes, Im a bit of a squirrel chaser. But hey, Im working on it! So, that's me! If youre ready for a loyal companion who loves affection and adventure (and toes), then apply to meet me! File #24-168Current Foster Location: Renfrew, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Dryden is Heartworm positive, and is currently undergoing treatment. Hey there, I'm Dryden! I know I look like a tough guy, but between you and me, Im basically a teddy bear who just wants belly rubs and a cozy spot to nap while you work. Im a huge fan of watching squirrelsthey think theyre so cleverand Im awesome on a leash during our walks. I dont mess up the house, Im fully housetrained, and Ill even sleep wherever you likemy bed, the crate, or close by, keeping an eye on things. Now, Ive heard some dogs play with these things called "toys," but I havent cracked the code yet. Still, I wag my tail in excitement whenever I see them in action. Maybe you could teach me? I thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who can show me the ropes and give me direction. I need a strong leader, but once I know who's in charge, Im all in! Im on some meds to help with my anxiety, but dont worryIve been doing great in my foster home and can chill in my crate for 8 hours like a pro. All I really want is a human to snuggle with, follow around, and show how much Im ready to love them. Are you that human? Lets find out!
