Story
Gypsy – Your New Adventure Buddy 🐾 Gypsy is a stunning 2-year-old red Husky with a heart as big as his smile. Once abandoned and left to survive on the streets, he hasn’t let his past dim his joy—he’s playful, loving, and always ready for the next adventure. He’s crazy about toys, loves walks and hikes, and bonds deeply with his people. Gypsy does best with calm, compatible dogs (especially the ladies) and would thrive in an active home with a secure yard. Gypsy's adoption fee includes: Vaccinations: - Rabies - Leptospirosis - Distemper - Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus - Parvovirus - Parainfluenza - Lyme Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping If a dog required any other vet treatment or surgery while in our care, this is also included in the adoption fee. All known medical information is explained prior to adoption. All of our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy and a small bag of kibble. At Nakoma Rescue, we put a lot of work, time, care and love into each one of these dogs. They are treated like one of our own. We are open and transparent about the dogs in our care. We want each adoption to be the right fit, for both the owners and the dog.

Story
Blanche and Tash are a stunning pair of white German Shepherd/Husky mixes who share a beautiful bond. They’re currently living together and make a great team, but they can be adopted separately to the right homes. Blanche (female) is the social butterfly of the two. She's affectionate, playful, and loves to cuddle. Her friendly nature makes her an instant favorite with people. Tash (male) is a little more reserved but deeply loyal once he connects with you. He leans on Blanche for confidence and guidance, and together they balance each other beautifully. The adoption fee includes: Vaccinations (Rabies, Leptospirosis, Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Lyme) Bloodwork (Testing for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma) Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping Each pup goes home with: A leash and collar A toy A small bag of kibble At Nakoma Rescue, we treat every dog like family, putting time, care, and love into each one. Story
Athena has spent her life on the streets before coming into our care. She’s still adjusting to this new world, and we’re slowly getting to know her. Athena is shy at first, but there’s a softness in her eyes that tells us she’s ready to learn what love and safety feel like. She’s dog-friendly and taking everything one careful step at a time. This beautiful girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in, build trust, and finally know what it means to belong. The adoption fee includes Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping If the dog required any other vet treatment or surgery while in our care, this is also included in the adoption fee.
