Story
Meet Freya – A Big, Beautiful Girl with a Bigger Love for Her People 💕 Freya is a stunning young lady with a personality that shines brightest once she feels safe and secure. Her favorite way to ask for affection? If you walk past her while she’s lying down, she’ll quietly lift a leg — her gentle, unmistakable request for a belly rub. And trust us, once you start, she’s happy to keep them coming. Freya’s weekday routine is well established and shows just how adaptable she can be. She’s comfortable being home alone for 8–9 hours, free-roaming in the house (no crate for this girl). She enjoys a walk before work and a longer walk in the evening, and spends her days rotating between napping, chewing on bones, and playing with her toys. She’s fully house-trained and settles nicely into a predictable rhythm. With her people, Freya is incredibly affectionate and loyal. She’s a true Velcro dog — following her person from room to room, always nearby, always asking for pets, belly rubs, or a good brushing. Once she bonds with you, you’re her person, and she loves deeply. Freya’s challenges come mainly in social situations. She is reactive to other dogs on leash and, at this stage, would do best as the only dog in the home. While she once enjoyed playing with a foster puppy and may be able to live with another dog in the future, this would require very slow, patient introductions and ongoing training. She has not been exposed to cats and does have a prey drive, so a cat-free home is recommended. A child-free home is also recommended for this girl as predictability will really benefit her. Freya enjoys both independent play with toys and interactive play with her people. She’s energetic, happy, and playful, with an average-to-high activity level that will benefit from regular walks, enrichment, and continued training. She does have some separation anxiety, so while she can handle time alone, consistency and reassurance are important for her emotional well-being. The most important thing to know about Freya is this: she is truly the sweetest girl, and everyone who’s been able to meet her and earn her trust has absolutely loved her. She simply needs time, patience, and thoughtful introductions to feel safe in the world.

Story
Hi! I’m Pauline 🐾 I’m 100% puppy—happy, playful, inquisitive, and a total cuddle bug. The moment you sit on the floor, I’ll happily back myself right into your lap (you’ve been warned!). If laps aren’t available, I’ll settle for sitting on your foot while you do the dishes. I really love my people and want to be close to them as much as possible. My days are filled with early mornings, lots of playtime with toys and my puppy siblings before relaxing in my x-pen while my foster heads to work. I get along well with other dogs, though I sometimes let my siblings boss me around, so I need some help working on my confidence. I definitely prefer people over pups. If I have a fur sibling, I'd ask they be mellow to match my gentle energy. I’m still learning all my puppy manners—I’m not house trained yet and will need crate training, guidance with chewing, and help learning not to nip. With patience, love, and plenty of cuddles, I’ll be the most loyal little sidekick you could ask for 💕

Story
Hi friends! I’m Rajini — a sweet, gentle dog with a thoughtful soul and the cutest tiny teefs you’ve ever seen. I may be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, my soft personality and quiet charm really shine. I’m a smart girl and fully potty trained to use pee pads were no problem — nailed it! I love calm routines, gentle encouragement, and cozy moments with my people. I’d do best in a peaceful home with another canine friend (big or small) to play with, and probably no cats as I like to chase them. Ideally no kids, teens are ok, but I'm still nervous and unsure at times, so need humans that understand my need for space and comfort. Did I mention I LOVE to play ball?? Yep Fetch is the next best thing to food and treats in my world. I retrieve and drop it for you, I'll sit and wait till your ready to throw it again, and if you forget, I'll give you a gentle "woof" to remind you I'm waiting. We can do that all day if you have time, I won't mind! I'm not very comfortable outside yet so leash skills will need to be something you help me with, but playing in a back yard that's fenced is really fun! (Especially if there is a ball). If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will reward your patience with deep trust and endless love, I just might be your girl. Ready to fall for me? I promise I’ll steal your heart — one tiny toof at a time 🐾💛

Story
Meet Maggy, a gentle senior soul with a heart of gold who is looking for a quiet place to spend her golden years. She would love a place on your pillow next to you in bed. Once you’ve earned her trust, Maggy is a world-class cuddler who thrives on being close to her favorite people. She is a total sweetheart to those she loves, and there is nothing she enjoys more than a soft place to land and a family to call her own. Maggy is a sensitive girl who moves at her own pace and requires a patient family. Because she can feel overwhelmed by too much social pressure, she needs owners who will advocate for her space and let her open up on her own terms. A child-free home will be the best fit for Maggy. A single person for her to bond with would be a great fit. While she is almost fully house-trained, Maggy does struggle with mild separation anxiety and isn't a fan of the crate. Since she can be quite vocal when she’s left alone, she would do best in a house rather than an apartment setting. One of Maggy’s favorite things is the company of other dogs. She is incredibly social and finds great comfort in having a canine companion around. While it isn't a strict requirement, having another dog in the home would be a huge benefit to help her feel confident and secure. Maggy is currently living with several cats as well and is fine with them. If you have a calm home and a heart full of patience, Maggy is ready to reward you with a lifetime of devotion 🤍🐾
