Finn is a sweet, gentle senior boy who loves his humans. He has lived happily alongside cats and children his entire life, making him a wonderful companion for a patient household. He is fully house-trained, completely non-destructive, and handles being home alone all day well. He walks well on a leash and has been known to enjoy a good game of fetch. Like many intelligent herding breeds, Finn has a sensitive side and experiences some anxiety. He is reactive to sudden noises, neighborhood squirrels, and even dogs appearing on the television screen. He has a lot of life and love to give and responds well to affection and positive reinforcement. His ideal adopter will be someone who understands herding breed traits, can provide a calm environment, and is willing to utilize patient, positive-reinforcement.

Marvin is a sweet, friendly, energetic boy who absolutely loves his people. He’s a total cuddle bug and could happily spend his day getting belly rubs, snuggles and plenty of love. He loves being active and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys long walks, runs, and adventures. When it’s time to settle down, Marvin loves curling up in his “house” (crate), especially if it’s filled with his favorite blankets. He is both house and crate trained. He can be an anxious dog, so he would do his best with someone who is patient and understanding. This is not a decision we are making lightly. We love Marvin and want him to find a home where he would truly thrive. He has been wonderful with every adult he has in contact with. We have not had the opportunity to introduce him to other dogs. We’re looking for a responsible, loving and forever home for Marvin.

My name is Alicia, and my foster saved me from being euthanized in a CA kill shelter. I am a 9 year old pittie, utd on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, loving, cuddly, and friendly to humans and have been around kids 10 and up but I am dog selective. I do the cutest trick, I will bring you the handle to my lead when I'm ready to go out to potty. My foster mommy has 4 doggies of her own, so cannot keep me since I have to stay in a bdrm away from the 2 dogs I don't get along with. I have chased her chickens but getting better about it. I need to be the only doggie in the home. My mommy is trying to integrate me into her pack, but would feel better if I could be with a family that would give me all their love so I can return it in kind!

I have had little bear since she was only 6 weeks old. She looked like a little polar bear so thats what we named her. I worked 13 hr night shifts raising 1 kid with several dogs and little bear is MY dog. Not the kids mine. Shes the best hunter of flys, mosquitoes, spiders, and any kind of bug she sees. She catches and leaves never to see that bug again. She handles it out if sight.. weird right? On the hunt every morning noon and night I let her out and she gracefully jumps the 4 foot fence even tho shes only 12 lbs and she runs the whole 2.5 achres from 1 end to the other looking for anything if she can chase. . Skunk. (Never been sprayed) shes fast! Racoon. Never been bitten. Shes fast,! And when she sees a chicken ...you say no no little bear and she comes right back and smiles that cheesy grin! Oh shes such a good girl. But I have to rehome her and ,I would love visits if possible. ! Im crying writing this. Story to continue.. ok i need more room.

We adopted Fenris in 2024 at 2 years old. He is a fantastic pup and so sweet. Caring for a toddler and newborn though has prevented us from giving him the care and attention he needs. We are looking for a loving and attentive family to adopt our sweet pup, someone who is able to really love on him and give him all the attention and pets he could ever want. He is such a lovebug! He loves pets, snuggles, and playing. He is a beautiful boy with both Husky and Pit features. He has beautiful blue eyes and a lovely coat. He experiences dry itchy skin sometimes due to allergies but it's manageable. Disclaimer: He is also a shedding machine!

Story

Dax is a working line German shepherd. We got him at 10 weeks old and put an immense amount of work/training into him. He’s now 7 years old. He’s a sweet boy, but requires more work from us than we can give him at this time. We have 3 young children. He does so well with our kids and is loyal. He can be very vocal when he doesn’t receive our immediate attention. Dax enjoys fetch, walks, car rides, meeting new people, and hide-and-go seek. He also really loves training with treats. He knows basic commands, is kenneled when we are gone, and doesn’t mind loud noises (such as fireworks and thunderstorms). He would do really well with a companion who can give him the time and attention he seeks. We haven’t had him around other dogs much, and seems to be a little territorial of his space. I’m not sure if this is something that could be worked through, or just his temperament. Is Dax the companion dog you’re looking for? He can’t wait to meet you!
